About: Hi! I’m Julie. I grew up on a hobby farm surrounded by a menagerie of animals from a young age. Everything from chickens and goats to rabbits, cats, and dogs, and the occasional bit of wildlife, were welcome in my families home. As a high school student I became increasingly involved in agriculture and milked cows and cared for livestock. This turned into a love that led me to college in rural Maine where I earned a degree in Agriculture and Sustainability, all while working on a dairy farm each day. Currently, I homeschool my two children and am blessed with the ability to work from home. We live on a wooded property and have access to a small lake which is boarded by a wooded dirt road. Additionally, we have a small walking trail system directly on our property. We share our home with a Newfie doodle, Arlo, who is 1.5 years old, a Sulcuta tortoise, and a cat that lives under the bed. We have a large red deck with a fenced in space off of this for easy bathroom access and unleashed roaming space for your dog. I work from home and homeschool my children. Our days have built in flexibility and can be arranged to accommodate the needs of any pet staying with us. We enjoy time outdoors, and can often be found working remotely or “out schooling” from our backyard or a hiking trail. In our home, the pets are people too (and we will narrate their thoughts based on their expressions 🤪). Pets are allowed on the furniture and in all rooms. We have a large front porch for slow mornings and evenings that stretch well past sunset. I currently have no pets at the moment so I can dedicate time to yours! I am working part time so I have a very flexible schedule and my own reliable transportation. With notice I can easily modify my routine to make sure I’m there for your pet In my home I current have it parrot proofed. So we have no chemical or anything toxic that can easily be gotten into. I also make sure not to keep any toxic foods in the house as an extra level of precaution and know that you cannot leave them alone because you never know what any pet will get into especially when their routine is disrupted
About: I have walked and watched multiple dogs over night while friends/family have been on vacation and I am ready to take it to a new level. About: I've taken care and rescued all sorts of animals from guinea pigs to giant pitties. I have been in rescue for about 9 years. It comes out of pocket, but if I don't save them or help who will? I am also good at medication injection and oral administration of medication as well. I can do walks, check in's, doggy day care, house sit, etc. I will accommodate your needs for your furbaby. I am not afraid of bigger dogs as most people might be. I think of them as giant teddy bears. I will send plenty of updates and pictures as I know leaving your furbaby with a stranger can be absolutely nerve wrecking. Whatever makes my customer happy I will be more than willing to meet their request. Just give me instruction, your furbabies name, any allergies, medications, walk/yard time and frequency, feeding schedule, and any other information you see fit and I guarantee your precious furbaby will find a new friend! I am currently employed part time and in school part time this semster over at Johnson College for Veterinary Nursing. My schedule is pretty packed, but I will make accommodations with you to accommodate the needs of your furbabies or ones with scales. I moved in March of last year so boarding at the new place might be a bit busy. I do have enough room to accommodate at least 3 dogs. I don't have a fenced in yard at my apartment however I love to take them on long walks. I have walked dogs of all sizes. Super tiny to 100+lbs. I also have my own pupper Krypto so if boarding at my home please make sure your dog is other dog friendly as well as cats. I have 2 cats, 1 dog, 1 rat and a goldfish. If you are looking to board in my home I suggest a meet & greet to make sure your furbabies and mine are safe for their stay. I care for my clients furbabies like they are my own. I make sure the furbabies are happy and healthy. I will make sure my clients needs and wants are met. If you need me to watch them at your house, your house will be treated like my home. I will make sure your home is like you left it. I love to send updates because I know leaving your furbabies is really nerve wrecking.
About: I’ve taken care of my cat and dog for 8 years. I love to walk my neighbors dogs and create relationships with all types of animals. I currently work a full time job. i’m usually off two or three days a week and sometimes overnight so i’ll be available during the day. I can easily crate if your dog needed it. My neighbor is a dog friendly area. I can doors and windows locked and closed at all times.
