About: As experienced dog owners, we are familiar with periods of puppy & teenager, have expectations for accidents, demand of attentions and needs of releasing energy. We have two fixed male dogs & 3 cats at home. Dog is energetic and friendly. Cats are shy, they usually just stay away from dog(s).We have our family room cleared for dog to play, and a fenced backyard that allows dog to burn their energy anytime. We are looking forward to meeting and taking care of dogs&cats! Zhuoran is currently at home 24/7. All dogs are crate-free in family room unless there is behavior issue during the day, and all dogs stay in the bedroom with us at night. - Dog walking schedule: 6:30am, 11am, 3pm, 8pm, and before bed time. In weekends we take dogs to fully fenced dog parks for 30~60min. Schedules are adjustable as needed. I'm currently stay at home 24/7. We wake up 6:00am for the first walk, and a short walk every 3~5 hours. My working station is in the family room right next to dogs, so I can take care of the dogs quickly if anything happened. We have a cleared family room with a safe gate, the whole space is belong to the dogs. We also have a fully fenced backyard that allows dogs to burn their energy and enjoy the fresh air.

I do live in a condo building, so your pup will need to be able to walk up stairs. There is an elevator in the building, but we will take the stairs if they fear or are uncertain of the elevator. Your pup must be OK walking on-leash, as we are not allowed to have dogs off-leash on the property. If your pup requires off-leash potty breaks, i recommend drop-ins instead of boarding.

I make my own schedule biweekly, and my shifts are generally no more than 5-6 hours, so my hours are extremely flexible depending on when I’m needed! I am all for play, walking, and unlimited pets when I dog/cat sit. I will pay careful attention when it comes to letting them out if there is a fenced yard, as well as to their collar and leash prior to taking them out on walks. A pet owners directions are very important to me as far as feeding/potty/medication times, and I take the responsibility of caring for any animal very seriously.

About: I have been in the animal care business my whole life! My mom used to run her own animal care business where I would go on all of her animal visits since I was in kindergarten. I trained my two puppies at age 10, have been volunteering at the local animal shelter for 3 years, and have started my own small clientele of dogs whom I care for through overnight stays for over a week, 3 check-ins a day for each dog, and lots of time for playing and cuddling to make sure they are happy and comfortable, while building their trust. I understand patience is key when caring for animals who see me as a new, unfamiliar face, and I always ensure the animals comfort is my top priority! My main gig at the moment is animal care, so I can build my own schedule/routine around the animal care bookings that I have for that week, so your pet will be my priority! In my clients homes, I make sure that the essentials like food and water are given, and I will make sure that there is nothing out that could harm them. My main focus is walking the dog in the start of my visit, and playing and winding down for rest time at the end, so they are able to rest and relax when I am not there/until their next visit. For cats, I would feed and refill their water, play with them, and provide affection depending on their personality and how comfortable they are. I will also clean out their litter.

It showed he was really interested in providing the care they needed especially for our 9 year Lab that had special mealtime needs. Brian has a great set up in his house for dogs including a nice fenced in yard which was a real treat for our two. His dogs and the other dogs he watched were terrific playmates for ours. “We adopted a sweet 3-month old puppy from a shelter only a few weeks shy of our week-long vacation. Clearly not the best timing, and I'd worried who would watch the newest (teething/chewing, still house-training, very active, yet also very loved) member of our family. We'd selected Michell after noting the 5-star rating and significant number of repeat customers, and it was the right choice! Not only did they efficiently and professionally handle drop-off and pick-ups, they were wonderful about communicating with us and seemed to take great care of our puppy (no easy feat, as anyone who has owned a puppy can attest!). They sent multiple pictures daily with updates, which eased our minds while we were on the trip. Because they board a small number of dogs, our pup had a chance to socialize with other dogs, but still remain in a home environment with a large, fenced in yard. They were also incredibly understanding about what puppy care entails (even the messy parts!) and kindly shared their own experience having rescued and raised/trained multiple puppies themselves. Additionally, in one week, our puppy came back to us better behaved even, and we're fairly certain we have Mitchell and his husband to thank!
