When we arrived home and unpacked his bag, she had taken the time to handcraft an ornament with his name. This will be Bean's first Christmas and she gave us his first ornament. We suffered the loss of both of our beloved dogs, Cappy and Blue within less than 3 months less than a year ago. One from old age and one from cancer. We have been so careful and diligent with our new rescue Bean. She knew this and accommodated our paranoia with compassion and understanding. Bean is our little wild child and she took care of him as her own. We highly recommend her and value her as our sitter. It eases our minds knowing that he has a place to go if we need to get away for a day, or go on vacay without our little buddy.”

About: I've had many animals throughout my life, 7 dogs, 9 cats, and small mammals. I mostly have experience with Australian Shepherds and German Shepherds. At the moment I have two small dogs and a young cat, who all get along together very well! I love animals and I pay very close attention to them to make sure their needs are met and they're happy. I'm not the type of person to just quickly check-in on a dog and let them outside- I play with them, give them attention, exercise them. I work part time and random hours, so I wake up early to let my dogs out, then feed them at 8 and again at 4. One of my dogs is hyperactive and guards her food so each of her meals is a training session. I usually make her walk on the treadmill for 10 minutes and follow various commands while I hand-feed her meals. My animals are never alone for more than 4 hours at a time, so they get to go out many times. I don't have a fenced in yard so they are always on a leash. All of my animals are friendly towards other dogs, cautious with cats. My apartment is somewhat small, so I would prefer to work in a client's home. In that situation I would stop in as many times as the client prefers. I take my time to play with the animals under my care and give them attention. I do my best to make sure they never feel lonely.

Other species include six rats, one guinea pig, three rabbits, two corn snakes, and a bearded dragon. I do not have any children, and I'm living with my father. Together, we have two dogs, (one his, and the other mine), a garage cat (his), and a bearded dragon (mine). His dog is a German Shepard named Wren, and mine is a Chihuahua named Milo. Additionally, I quit the job I've had for years, so I have a fairly flexible schedule. All of our animals have schedules for everything. Potty breaks, food times, etc. We keep it fairly strict, but also know how to read our animals, and so the schedule is subject to slight changes. I can adapt, and learn new schedules for clients.

My schedule is pretty packed, but I will make accommodations with you to accommodate the needs of your furbabies or ones with scales. I don't have a fenced in yard at my apartment however I love to take them on long walks. I have walked dogs of all sizes. Super tiny to 100+lbs. I also have my own pupper Krypto so if boarding at my home please make sure your dog is other dog friendly as well as cats. I have 2 cats, 1 dog, 1 rat and a goldfish. If you are looking to board in my home I suggest a meet & greet to make sure your furbabies and mine are safe for their stay. I care for my clients furbabies like they are my own. I am a southern boy raised by strong southern women and I absolutely will respect your home, property and pets. In the near future I will also offer a boarding option as well after I've settled in here in Danville. I am willing to travel a but out of the area if you need as well. About: I've raised both of my dogs since they were puppies and understand how important consistency is. I enjoy learning about each dog I meet and discovering ways to connect with them. Dog hugs are just a plus! My pet care availability will typically be before 8am and after 4:30pm during the week. I would also consider overnight bookings during the week. Weekends, I am typically available at all times day and night. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs. I live in an area with a great walking trail and a dog park we can visit. I also have an available crate (Large) with a dog bed and plenty of dog food/treats to share.
