About: *I will not offer cat services in my home due to my husky, sometimes she’s has her prey drive intact & other times she does not. But I will come to you.* Watch my mom’s cat, my sisters and my sons while they travel. Took care of my dad’s 17 Siamese breeder cats while he was hospitalized as well. If you don’t mind if my sister comes along, she provides excellent and outstanding kitty care. No extra charge for her, I pay her out of my own pocket! Getting a routine right matters a lot to me. I ask lots of questions upfront and pay close attention to the small stuff: think feeding times, meds, favorite routes, comfort items, quirks, fears, or behaviors, because those details are what make a dog feel secure. I'd rather over-communicate than guess. I lived with and cared for a reactive dog for 13 years, so I know firsthand what it takes to help an anxious dog feel safe, and how to prevent conflict in the first place. All my dogs have been rescues, and I have a soft spot for dogs who need extra patience to warm up. I'm not a certified trainer, but I've spent years learning dog training, body language, and enrichment, and every interaction is rooted in positive reinforcement. I will require a meet and greet with your pet in advance of the first booking so they can become familiar with me, and so I can become familiar with their routine and needs. My schedule gives me plenty of flexibility to be present for your dog, whether that's extra walks, playtime, or just being around for company, and I'm happy to talk through what kind of availability works best for your pet! I work from home which allows me the flexibility to prioritize pet care in a way I wouldn’t be able to with a traditional office. This gives me the ability to keep anxious dogs company, breaks for play time, medication, cuddles or walks when they are needed, not when they can be fit in. I create a calm, secure environment where pets feel safe and comfortable. Whether in my home or theirs, I work on building trust by moving at each pet’s pace and honoring their boundaries. Safety is always my top priority, I supervise pets closely, follow all instructions carefully, and adapt to their unique needs. I keep spaces clean, hazard-free, and ensure pets have fresh water, proper food, and quiet resting spots. For reactive or anxious pets, I use gentle, low stress handling & positive reinforcement or redirecting to help them feel calm and supported. Every care plan is tailored specifically to your pet’s needs after we discuss what works best for them.
About: Hello! I am a pediatric nurse in Pittsburgh. My primary job allows me to be flexible! I can come for walks and visits during the week. I have been helping out with family dogs all my life! I work full time as nurse, however I work three twelve hour shifts a week so I have flexibility! I can be available during the weekdays while you are at work! They get go much attention and love. The barn the dogs sleep in is really cool. It looks like it was stables for horses. Each dog gets their on stable. You can bring your dog’s bedding & toys and they are happy in their stall. Christina & Daniel have it down to a science how to run the place so each dog gets lots of attention & outdoor play. I find this place to be incredibly inexpensive considering all they get. Way cheaper than most of the people on Rover wanting to watch your dog at their own house. BOOK here always.”
