She has a huge fenced in yard, great for running and exploring and there is also a walking trail, that runs behind her house. Inside the main floor is a perfect set up to keep your dog safe, but still allows your pup to roam. Marla's dog, Shadow, is so sweet and very well behaved, which speaks volumes in her doggy parenting style! Another bonus to mention, is her 4 loving children! They help keep my little guy busy and show him so much love! He absolutely loves going to Marla's house! I'm so glad, I found Marla!”
About: I have owned, trained and cared for dogs, cats and horses over the last 17 years. I also work with a dog rescue organization in the area and have fostered over 40 dogs in the last 3 years. As an avid animal lover I understand the significant impact that owning animals has on our ability to travel and relax when away. I want to provide people the opportunity to travel care-free while their dogs enjoy the best care being boarded in my home. I have a very dog-friendly house with a fully secure fenced in yard. I work from home so dogs receive attention all day and night and get lots of playtime. Dogs boarded here will get free roam of the house but can also have and use a crate at the owner’s request. I am able to feed special diets and give medication as needed. If your dog stays here they will be welcomed into my house as if they were one of my own. Dogs that come here should be friendly with both male and female dogs. There are no cats in the home. I am also available for lunch time, evening and weekend dog walking. I work from home and am here almost all of the time for boarding in my home. I am also available to provide dog walks during the week in the evenings, sometimes over lunch and on the weekends. Dogs cared for in my home will be treated as if they were my own. They are able to roam about the house and use the full fenced yard. Dogs are allowed on my bed and on the couches in the home, in addition to the many dog beds throughout. Owners can expect frequent photos and updates on their pup! “I have really enjoyed having Shanon coming to walk my big boy. My big boy is a rescue and is not great with new people. At 140 pounds he can be very intimidating to others. We need someone to watch our dogs for a long trip this year which will require work and time to build a relationship. Shanon is very intuitive to my dogs need to build a relationship slowly. She doesn't react to him the way most would and genuinely takes clues from him. Ive been so worried to try and have him build a relationship with someone and I dont think I could have gotten anyone better. She does rush him or force him to be near her and he is very quickly getting comfortable with her which is something I wasnt expecting to happen so soon. I can not rave enough about her natural intuition and willingness to work with us, its been a perfect fit and I know our dogs will be just fine with her for an extended period of time in a few months!”

“I don't know why it took me so long to post this review. Tyler was absolutely amazing with my dog, Austin! I had originally booked Austin with Tyler for one week but due to housing issues I had to extend his stay. I actually had to extend Austin's stay a few times and Tyler was always happy and willing to house Austin for as long as we needed. Tyler let me come visit Austin periodically since I missed him so much, and every time I visited Austin looked great and seemed truly happy there. I will 10/10 rebook with Tyler! I am forever grateful for Tyler's help throughout that difficult time and highly recommend using him for whatever length of stay your pup or kitty needs.”
About: I lived with animals, all my life I have three kitty cats now, and I had labradors when I was kid. My grandfather had some Dobermans when I was little and I’ve been around great Danes as well.. I have walked three huskies with my son who has high functioning autism, and is my helper with a lot of my jobs we do it together. We’d love to take care and love animals I am highly focused on creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment. When I watch pets, we typically spend our time doing activities,, outdoor play. I have a flexible schedule, and I’m willing to work around mine and your schedules I will work during the week and weekends as well I would take very good care of your pet inside your home and if you have a list and concerns for your pet, I will be able to willing to work on that for your pet.. Inside my home would be the same way and have a comfortable playtime with my family
“Jean was great! This was our first time leaving our dog with her. He can get a bit anxious and can have a hard time in new places, she helped calm him. She also assured us as well and didn’t make us feel like we needed to return from our trip early. I would definitely recommend Jean!”
