“Lorraine was great with my English bulldog Blu. She was very quick in responding to my messages. Two days before his stay with Lorraine he was bit by a spider and had an allergic reaction and she agreed to administer medication and took a great care of him. When we picked him up he looked happy and healthy so much so that he couldn’t care less that we were there to pick him up lol. Blu had a great time and we recommend and use Lorraine for future stays. “This was our first time using Marian as a Rover sitter. She allowed me into her home to view the areas my dogs would be kept. It was a beautiful space and I didn't hesitate to leave them in her good hands. Within an HOUR or two of drop-off - we had an unexpected situation when one of our dogs became very stressed and sick due to the new environment. Marian kept me informed right away, was incredibly patient and compassionate and worked with me to come up with the best solution for my dogs. She even transported them to our home and transitioned our booking to drop in visits - which I so appreciated. She was kind, flexible, understanding - even after my dog had multiple accidents in her home - which had never happened before. I have a part time job, but if you let me know ahead of time I will not schedule myself to work and be available to take care of your pets. She made sure their food and water was filled, scooped the litter boxes, swept up around the litter boxes, and stayed and played with the kitties for awhile. About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a child. My parents owned 10 acres and I helped care for dogs, pigs, rabbits, birds, sheep, goats and more. My dog Oakley is four years old, trained by commands and is extremely friendly and has never had any problems with another dog. I sadly cannot take cats because he is scared of them. I am home 24/7, so I am able to be there for all their care, especially if younger and needing to be let out more often or if older and need medicine given at certain times. I have a crate if needed that could be used for small, medium or large breeds.

I love playing with them, caring for them, being there for them and providing love to them. I love going for walks in the parks, around development, etc. Whatever the pup/dog likes to do is fine with me, I have a lot of history with them so I'd be more than happy to provide for any dog! I do have a lot of references just not on rover, they can be provided upon speaking/meeting! I am very accommodating and can stick to your pets schedule as close as possible to yours! I can work my schedule around whatever is needed for care. For example, pets needing strict medicine schedule. I do work during the day but am available with notice! I can provide drop in visits, pet taxi to groomers or vets, dog parks, etc. Cages would need to be provided especially for multiple pets while I am out of the home. Pets have full range of the home. We have gates for the stairs at top and bottom!

I am pretty free, I am self employed so I have plenty of time to play with you fury friends! Even hope to make some new fury friends myself. I only have cats in my current home, but I keep them inside at all times and make sure they are fed and loved, and play time is super important.

About: I spent my youth training to be a vet and fostering dogs. I learned a lot at vet school, namely that I couldn't ever deliver the final act of compassion. So, I turned my attention to my true passion - caring for dogs! I have been dog sitting for over 15 years and I love it. Every new dog that I meet reminds me how much I love dogs. I am flexible to the needs of every dog I care for and will make their experience with me as similar to their home life as possible. I have two dogs of my own, but they LOVE meeting new dogs to play with. If your dog is not as keen to new friendships, I can separate them all with ease. I have only one hard line, I need to meet you and your dog before the stay. I have learned that it is the best way to ensure your dog's comfort in their stay. I did not always adhere to this and I have seen some very stressed out fur babies. I want your fur pups happy and healthy as much as you do! Thank you for your consideration. I work from home so, I will be with your dogs all day. If we have any grocery trips or daycare drop offs, they will be crated for those brief periods. We keep our dog-less activities to a minimum during pet stays. We have no fence and our dogs run off-leash. With your dogs, I will walk them leashed because dogs (like children) test boundaries. We also go to creeks and hikes very often, and your dogs will join us leashed (if you approve).

About: I’ve lived with dogs for the majority of my life and have had the chance to care for plenty of pets! I volunteered with a rescue organization where my family rescued 2 dogs from! During breaks from school, I had the opportunity to work in a boarding kennel where I walked, fed, bathed, and played with all types of dogs. I am familiar with all ages of dogs and the care required. Even though I have had most of my life experiences be with dogs, I had the chance to volunteer at a cat rescue as well! When available for doggie day care and boarding, I have a large fenced in yard and I have two dogs in my home, so a meet in greet would be required prior to services to ensure all pets are comfortable. This would be in New Tripoli, PA. There is a nearby creek and park that I can take your pet to for walks if you would like. I am also available for drop ins, walks and care within the owners home! In terms of walking and check ins, I can come to your home and check on your pet throughout the day and take them for walks around your home or to a local park if applicable. Right now, I am in between jobs but also commute daily in between New Tripoli and Mcadoo/Hazleton PA. I am looking to pick up some walking and drop in shifts at this time within the locations of those two towns. I have a large fenced in yard for your pet to be able to roam freely and safely. I also have a pet friendly home and neighborhood to ensure safety. I am also able to travel to your home to provide care and make sure they are comfortable in their own environment.

“Lorraine was great with my English bulldog Blu. She was very quick in responding to my messages. Two days before his stay with Lorraine he was bit by a spider and had an allergic reaction and she agreed to administer medication and took a great care of him. When we picked him up he looked happy and healthy so much so that he couldn’t care less that we were there to pick him up lol. Blu had a great time and we recommend and use Lorraine for future stays. It was a beautiful space and I didn't hesitate to leave them in her good hands. Within an HOUR or two of drop-off - we had an unexpected situation when one of our dogs became very stressed and sick due to the new environment. Marian kept me informed right away, was incredibly patient and compassionate and worked with me to come up with the best solution for my dogs. She even transported them to our home and transitioned our booking to drop in visits - which I so appreciated.
