About: I grew up with dogs and cats as pets, so have lifelong experience caring for animals. My family owned a small farm for a period of time, so I also gained experience with horses in addition to cats and dogs. We owned a German Shepard and a cockapoo, so I do have direct experience with both smaller and larger dogs. In high school, I took 4 years of animal science, which further advanced my knowledge of pets and gave me hands on experience in a pre-veterinarian science atmosphere. About: When it comes to what sets me apart from other sitters, it's all about my passion and experience in training dogs. About: I was raised around all kinds of animals, and have cared for cats, dogs, snakes, and rabbits. I love them all unconditionally and believe they should be raised to know full bellies, warm cozy nights, and endless love. I have experience working as a groomers assistant and a kennel attendant professionally for about 3 years as well, so I know how to handle special needs ranging from anxiety to aggression. I also understand what it's like to be tight on funds, and the need to budget tightly in order to properly care for your furry friends! I can best typically do check ins and walks in the early morning and in the evening. I'm assuming that I'll be doing a typical 9 to 5, so anything before 9am or after 5pm is within reach for me to make sure your pets are well cared for and loved while you're away. ❤️ You can reach out to me with any schedule questions and I can try to work something out with you! I always do my very best to be as gentle as possible with all pets! I tend to avoid using "alpha" proving tactics unless it is necessary for my or your pets safety (ex. scruffing, using chokers tightly, using the shock option over the buzz option on an electric collar). I see these options as only being necessary when the pet is acceptionally aggressive and may hurt myself, itself, or others. I'm also very cautious around doors as I know many pets would take the opportunity to bolt it into the street if they could. I can handle bruises and scratches well from excited pets! I'm usually always covered in them from my own fur babies.

“Anna gave a great deal of attention to my nearly 17yo cockapoo who was blind and in diapers 24/7 the last yr. He had gotten down to 7 lbs from 16 but still spent every waking moment on the prowl for food. When I found out I had colon cancer that required surgery ASAP i took a couple days reading boarders profiles and reviews before choosing Anna. We talked extensively about peanut 2x before boarding. She got back yo me fast when contacted and sent daily video updates. As Peanut has severe separation anxiety, I was concerned but had to board him and I choose well! Anna is sweet, sensative, caring, & attentive to the animal. I would highly recommend her no matter your dog’s needs. Shes the best!”
