What made the stay even better was that Crystal's daughter and son also took such an active role in the care of our cats, which was so wonderful as the the two cats have different temperaments and both seemed happy with their stay! About: I've had many animals throughout my life, 7 dogs, 9 cats, and small mammals. I mostly have experience with Australian Shepherds and German Shepherds. At the moment I have two small dogs and a young cat, who all get along together very well! I love animals and I pay very close attention to them to make sure their needs are met and they're happy. I'm not the type of person to just quickly check-in on a dog and let them outside- I play with them, give them attention, exercise them. I work part time and random hours, so I wake up early to let my dogs out, then feed them at 8 and again at 4. One of my dogs is hyperactive and guards her food so each of her meals is a training session. I usually make her walk on the treadmill for 10 minutes and follow various commands while I hand-feed her meals. My animals are never alone for more than 4 hours at a time, so they get to go out many times. I don't have a fenced in yard so they are always on a leash. All of my animals are friendly towards other dogs, cautious with cats. My apartment is somewhat small, so I would prefer to work in a client's home. In that situation I would stop in as many times as the client prefers. I take my time to play with the animals under my care and give them attention. I do my best to make sure they never feel lonely.

We have just moved here from the UK in mid 2024. Our 4 cats are the biggest part of our lives and as I work from home I am so attached to them! That freedom can also allow me to care for your pet as well and love them as if they were my own while you are away! For now I have decided to offer myself up to visit your home when you wish to feed, walk and play with your pets as well as those necessary litter box details if you have cats.. I am honest and dependable with a deep love for animals and for being kind and gentle. I won't just feed them and leave.. Whether you have dogs, cats or any other animal, I will spend some time with them, make sure they feel safe and warm and be your eyes and ears during your absence. I would be thrilled to send you photos or video or even a live face to face call with your pets. I am a southern boy raised by strong southern women and I absolutely will respect your home, property and pets. In the near future I will also offer a boarding option as well after I've settled in here in Danville. I am willing to travel a but out of the area if you need as well. Other services I will consider providing are house sitting your home with or without pets. I am flexible and truly well meaning and respectful and hope to become your "Go-To" Guy!
About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and have had experience owning other pets such as geckos, cats, and snakes. I’ve been a pet sitter for a little over two years. My true passion for pet sitting comes from my desire to be accompanied by them, dogs specifically. I work with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and personalities. Dogs of all backgrounds tend to gravitate towards me and I have never had any negative interactions. While studying for my undergrad, I was actually in charge of all the live animal specimens present on the University grounds. Feeding, exercise, and handling/care were done daily, which can explain my comfortability and familiarity with pet care. I currently am home as I finish my masters degree online so my daily schedule is fairly free. I workout and do part-time contract work when I am not doing schoolwork. I’m extremely flexible and will be willing to meet your needs as best as possible. Simply put, I treat the pets like they are my own. I ensure they are met with sufficient attention, exercise, nutrition, and safety while under my supervision. Minimizing stress is my biggest concern (my dog has separation anxiety so I know how it can be). I’ve found it helpful in the past to use my own dog as a bridge between myself and the client’s pet, as his presence tends to build confidence and reassurance.
About: I have experience with dogs, cats and exotics especially parrots! I have experience with snakes, bearded dragons, rats , Guinea pigs and rats too I’ve watched various neighbors dogs for years and always focus on giving them a fun day since it’s really stressful when your a dog family leaves even for a few days. I currently have no pets at the moment so I can dedicate time to yours! I am working part time so I have a very flexible schedule and my own reliable transportation. With notice I can easily modify my routine to make sure I’m there for your pet In my home I current have it parrot proofed. So we have no chemical or anything toxic that can easily be gotten into. I also make sure not to keep any toxic foods in the house as an extra level of precaution and know that you cannot leave them alone because you never know what any pet will get into especially when their routine is disrupted

It was a beautiful space and I didn't hesitate to leave them in her good hands. Within an HOUR or two of drop-off - we had an unexpected situation when one of our dogs became very stressed and sick due to the new environment. Marian kept me informed right away, was incredibly patient and compassionate and worked with me to come up with the best solution for my dogs. She even transported them to our home and transitioned our booking to drop in visits - which I so appreciated.
