My husband and I wanted to go away for Valentine's day weekend to get some alone time and we have never been away from our Sheldon, who is a clumsy, gentle giant and lovable doberman pinscher puppy (1yr and 2months and 80lbs lol). My husband was thinking of boarding him at a kennel and I could not stand the thought of him being locked up in a cold pen like a wild caged animal. Honest to goodness (Rover did not pay me) I told my husband about this commercial I saw about people who offer dog services- Rover.com. My husband was skeptical and well, I thought it would be better than a cold pen, where he would pee and poop in his area and let out for so long per day. The site was easy to use and i knew what type of person i was looking for. I wanted my baby to be in a home where he would be loved as their own, warm, and in constant contact with humans (if you dont know anything about Dobermans, they are called velcro dogs because they are attached at your hip and have to be where ever you go). I looked and read Marie's profile and I just knew she was the ONE! Her family was awesome, they loved Sheldon and she gave us frequent updates of their adventures, runs, and how he he'd wind down at night and even included lots of pictures! We could tell he was having the time of his life! Marie and her family put our minds at ease knowing we left him in good hands. We could not be more grateful to have found them. Sheldon came home with a second family. We highly, HIGHLY recommend them! If they are in your area, she is the highest qualified dog sitter and we will be using her again in the future for Sheldon.”

Manson has been with me for over 10 years and is the other half of my soul (sorry to my husband). Salem is a certified daddy's girl and is still a little feral. About: Growing up in a rural area, I am no stranger to being around livestock, dogs, cats, chickens, etc. My first job was in a vet/kennel setting where I worked as a groomer's assistant. My more recent work experience has been more customer service based - but I continue to live a very animal-centric life, caring for my own animals, as well as the animals of my neighbors, friends, and coworkers.. - Do you have a dog or cat who requires a special medication by syringe? No problem, I've done it! - Do you have an elderly dog or cat who may require frequent changes to their bedding, litter box or diaper? I can help with that! From reptiles to poultry and everything in-between.. I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals and would love to meet yours. I take great pride in caring for other's animals as if they were my own. I am flexible, communicative, and not afraid to get my hands dirty if it means making sure your animal is comfortable and well cared for! I'm currently working part-time while pursuing a new career, which allows me to be flexible. I have availability mornings, afternoons, evenings & weekend to fit all your needs. As I am currently a renter, I am unable to care for your animal within my own home. Services I do provide would include: drop-in care, to walk, feed, or simply provide company & enrichment to your animals. About: I have taken care of 14 cats all at once, experience with newborn babies bottle feeding them and taking care of them as well as all other age kitties up to 18 years old even including giving them insulin! About: I've grown up with multiple dogs at a time, never had a period of time where I was not around dogs. I've raised them from birth to passing away. I love playing with them, caring for them, being there for them and providing love to them. I love going for walks in the parks, around development, etc. Whatever the pup/dog likes to do is fine with me, I have a lot of history with them so I'd be more than happy to provide for any dog! I do have a lot of references just not on rover, they can be provided upon speaking/meeting! I am very accommodating and can stick to your pets schedule as close as possible to yours! I can work my schedule around whatever is needed for care. For example, pets needing strict medicine schedule. I do work during the day but am available with notice! I can provide drop in visits, pet taxi to groomers or vets, dog parks, etc. Cages would need to be provided especially for multiple pets while I am out of the home. Pets have full range of the home. About: I’ve taken care of pets my entire life, there’s always been a dog in my household. When I moved out on my own I had my first cat. I have done everything from bathing, cutting nails, pilling, to bottle feeding kittens. I currently have three dogs and six cats. I am comfortable and familiar with walking dogs, feeding dogs (up to six at a time), play time visits, feeding cats, cleaning litter boxes, feeding & caring for small critters such as mice, giving out treats, cutting nails.
