About: I’m Alex and I currently have one pitbull so I am A 24/7 dog mom! I love hiking and being out in nature. I have a high energy personality that is perfect for wearing any pup out. Growing up my parents owned dogs of all sizes and personalities (Dalmatian, Akitas, border collie, and jack russel) I love the Lower Allen dog park and would gladly take any dogs there with permission! My previous rescue pit had an abusive past which sadly caused some behavioral issues. Due to that I am more than comfortable watching any dogs that may be a little rough around the edges. I have no problem giving any daily medication needed. I’m just a fun loving dog owner who would love to give your dog wonderful care and attention! I am a stay at home mom so my days are pretty open. I also have access to flexible free child care through grandparents so I don’t have to have my child with me during any dog visits or stays. This allows me to be able to work with your needs! I’m available for caring overnight in your home where your pup is most comfortable! Lots of attention and if they’re allowed in the bed or on the couch they’ll be right there next to me. “Wonderful experience for us and for Gus The Wonder Dog. We indicated at booking we would drop him off between 9 and 9:30 am and pick him up between 4 and 4:30 pm. We discovered before we dropped him off the first morning that our group would be eating dinner about 3 miles from the sitter's home. To pick him up at 4:30, return him to the B&B, and then drive back to dinner venue would have added about 15 - 18 miles of driving in somewhat heavy traffic. I asked if we could pick him up after dinner”

About: When not traveling on business trips, I work from my home office, so your dog will receive 24/7 care! I’ve had dogs my entire life and my first job as a tween was pet sitting for neighbors. My current rescue dogs are Jake; a senior Coonhound mix adopted in Tennessee and Kiba, an adult Husky-Great Pyrenees mix adopted locally and is a recovering escape artist. As a former paramedic, I have the skills to administer medications and medical care, as well as to deal with any emergencies. My large backyard is fenced and has a six-foot privacy screen! Our dogs have known that I treat them well, but that I am no “pushover”. In our house, I’m the “General”! I only give a command one time. When Jake or Kiba see the stern look and folded arms, they know to obey the command. I’ve also had a cat, fish, frogs, a turtle, a rabbit, Guinea pigs and even chameleons! The backyard takes up most of that, including a 6' privacy fence. Our floors are carpeted, though if any pet has an accident we are willing to clean it. I’ve also taken care of neighbors and family friends pets when they go on vacation and I’ve been doing that for a few years now! I am currently working at a nursing home in the evening 3pm-11pm Monday through Friday with revolving weekend. So with the morning free time throughout the week and weekend, I would enjoy taking care of your pets! When I take care of a client pet, I treat that pet as one of my own, and I have several fur babies of my own that are very spoiled!
About: I am 27 years old and have 5 of my own dogs. I have worked in pet care/dog training for the last 6+ years. I love getting to know and care for dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds and have experience with many different dog personalities, disabilities and energy levels. I am also able to take on dogs with behavioral issues, as I do specialize in behavior modification in training. One size does not fit all when it comes to pets, and I will get to know and treat your dog as an individual. I am also a dog trainer offering private lessons in the Carlisle and surrounding areas, up to 20 minutes away from Carlisle. I am available to take on more walks and drop ins Monday through Friday each week, any time of the day! Free meet and greets with every dog, so we can get to know each other! I have extensive experience in pet care and dog training. I also pride myself in creating a fun, safe and inviting environment for all pets and safety is always a top priority!
