About: I have experience with many types of dogs of all sizes and energy levels! My dog, who is a coonhound mix, gets walked a lot, but is very chill and super friendly with other dogs. I’ve also cared for dogs from an aggressive lab mix, to a 4lb chihuahua. I had a long-term dog sitting job in college where I frequently gave medicine, assembled natural food plates, and exercised multiple dogs with different ages and energy levels. I’m currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to tend to your pup! My dog also requires a lot of attention, so I’m used to dogs who need multiple walks a day and lots of cuddle/play time. My dog gets walked at least 4 miles a day, and has constant access to food and water, as he eats pretty intuitively. While he normally just lounges around the apartment while I’m gone, he is crate trained and can he put up if that is what your pup prefers!

“Wonderful experience for us and for Gus The Wonder Dog. We indicated at booking we would drop him off between 9 and 9:30 am and pick him up between 4 and 4:30 pm. We discovered before we dropped him off the first morning that our group would be eating dinner about 3 miles from the sitter's home. To pick him up at 4:30, return him to the B&B, and then drive back to dinner venue would have added about 15 - 18 miles of driving in somewhat heavy traffic. I asked if we could pick him up after dinner”

About: Hello, we are the Shapiros and throughout our whole life we have always loved, and owned, dogs. We have two of my own right now Our family lives on 1/2 an acre. The backyard takes up most of that, including a 6' privacy fence. Our floors are carpeted, though if any pet has an accident we are willing to clean it. We are trustworthy, kind, flexible, and willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that while you go on a vacation away for the night, or even just have a little "me" time that your pet is safe, and being treated as well as you would treat them if you were home. We have sat for several family members and friends in the past, even as a young teen. Whenever we have little get-togethers with other family and friends we encourage them to bring their pets. My dog is quite skidish about new dogs, new environments and new people. This was no challenge for Cheryl. She was able to ease my dogs insecurities right away and allowed her 2 dogs time to meet our little girl on her terms and very cautiously. Cheryl was flexible with my drop off and pick up times and communicated with me throughout the entire stay with updates and photos. She also provided my dog with medications for her skin and gave us great feedback on how I may be able to better care for her allergies. Cheryl is a very responsible dog owner and it certainly carries into her ability to care for my dog as well. My dog was happy and stress free while in Cheryl's care and I will definitely be using her again!
