About: Having two dogs since they were puppies and raising four cats has taught me a lot about animal behavior, patience, and daily care routines. I've experienced everything from the teething phase to handling older pets, all which have made me a confident and attentive care-giver for all kinds of pets. About: Growing up in a cat-loving home, my affinity for animals was realized at an early age. I’ve been the go-to person amongst family and friends for pet care since I was a kid. I’ve dabbled in this passion on the side my whole life, but am now pursuing it full tilt and hope to build a career in conservational zoology. My Pets: Thistle and Pants are my two cats. Thistle is a 7 year old domestic long hair whom I adopted from a rescue when she was 6 months old. She grew up with big German Shepherds and finds herself very comfortable around dogs. She gives off that annoyed older sister vibe, but always wants to be where the people are. She looks like a plump raccoon, and spends most of her time perched cozily on the back of the sofa or sunbathing on the windowsill. Pants is a 5 month old Maine Coon kitten, and he makes himself right at home in any space he occupies. He’s adventurous and outspoken, and keeps Thistle moving (and slightly irritated) throughout the day. He’s proving to be too clever for his own good, but overall he’s very chill for such a young boy. He’s currently snoozing next to my elbow on the kitchen table while I type this. About: Me and my family have been around dachshunds for over 10 years. A little biased, but would love to share the love to other dogs! I currently work from home and take my dog out regularly throughout the day. She gets breakfast and dinner and her monthly medications. She gets too much attention, but that’s our fault:) I have a back fenced in porch that I have a grassy area for my dog to relieve herself, as well as an unfenced front yard. Additionally, my husband was raised on his family's sheep farm. The farm had sheep along with alpacas, chickens, cats, and dogs. I also work here and there at a local horse farm feeding and cleaning stalls as well as turning 45+ horses out to pasture. I'm used to handling strong pulling animals (I like to think being able to handle an antsy 1200+ lb animal prepares me for most anything haha), and my own strong pulling dog so I'm well versed to handling eager dogs on walks. I've been able to administer medications to senior dogs, my own dog needed 5 different medicines for a few weeks during heartworm treatment and my cat currently is transitioning to a prescription urinary diet so I know a few tricks to getting medicine to them as well as doling out special meals. I'm currently switching to working 2 part time jobs 7 days a week to only working 1 of those jobs maybe 2-3 days a week so I'm looking to fill my time with taking care of your furry best friends and probably working more at the horse farm too. My schedule for work is made at least a month in advance and I don't work weekends since I work for a dental office so I have some free time to do this now. Looking to walk your dog, drop in on your cats/dogs while you're away and maybe open to short overnight stays in your home if I can arrange for my own doggie to be taken care of because he gets really lonely and upset if I'm not home at night, otherwise I'd have it on my profile that I was available for that too. I will follow your every instruction and request for taking care of your pet in your home, I can crate you dog and handle letting them out, making sure they don't get off leash or out of your fenced in yard and make sure your cat doesn't slip out the doorway when I come in. I’ve got a dog of my own, so things like walks, training, and playtime are already part of my routine. I genuinely love being around animals, and I’m hoping to turn that passion into a full-time career one day. Pet sitting, or even just being around animals gives me a chance to do what I enjoy while gaining more experience with different personalities and needs. I treat every pet like they’re my own! I’m happy to care for your pet in my home, where there’s plenty of room to play and relax. I have both a front and back yard for outdoor time, and while they aren’t fenced, I always use heavy-duty tethers and stay close by to keep things safe. Inside, there’s lots of cozy space and available crate room if your pet is used to having their own spot. Your pet will also have the chance to hang out with my own small, friendly dog if they enjoy some company! I make sure every pet feels at home, gets lots of attention, and stays on their usual routine as much as possible. When caring for your pet at your home, I’ll always follow your instructions and any special routines to make sure your pet feels comfortable and at ease. I’m happy to stick to their usual schedule and habits so they experience as little disruption as possible. Plus, I bring extra pet supplies with me whether it’s toys, bowls, or anything else needed to ensure your pet has everything they need while you’re away.

I’m a certified veterinary technician and currently work at a doggy daycare, where I’ve spent over two years giving dogs lots of love and personalized care. About: I've spent my life caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, and I'm comfortable adapting to each pet's unique needs. I grew up with a pitbull who was very territorial and not friendly with strangers, so I’ve learned to understand warning signs and am comfortable with caring for dogs with behavioral issues. Today, I care for a lively household that includes an extremely energetic French Bulldog, a gentle and timid German Shepherd mix (very very large dog), a Maine Coon cat, a chinchilla, and 11 chickens. I have taken care of older dogs that needed physical support during walks, as well as dogs with medicine schedules. I am comfortable with manually putting medicine into a dog’s mouth if necessary for their routine. I have also cared for corn snakes, ball pythons and axolotls. My experience with such a wide range of critters has made me confident in caring for pets of any size, personality, and needs. I am currently on summer break from college, so my schedule is entirely flexible from Sunday-Friday. I work a part-time job on Saturdays so that is the only day I am unavailable. I can adhere to strict schedules, and I am very attentive to feeding/walking/medicine routines. I will give your pet lots of attention and as much playtime as they need (even if that means hours of high-energy play). On walks, I am used to dogs that roam somewhat freely (on a leash), but I also grew up walking a dog that I had to keep away from all people and animals, so I am able to accommodate your dog during walks in any way necessary. No matter what, you can rest assured that your pet will be loved and cared for.

About: I've been taking care of animals my whole life. As a child, wife, mom and teacher, I have taken care of and loved many animals over the years. I have experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, frogs, turtles, birds, fish. As an educator, I have open availability during the summer. I'd love to show your pet some extra TLC during your workday to ease your mind! I have all of my security clearances as an educator. About: I been fostering and caring for kittens/cats for many years. I also have 4 cats of my own. I absolutely adore all animals and enjoy caring for them.
