My family dog, Kasper, passed away about two years ago and was central family member for about 17 years. He was one of the best things to happen to our family and he taught me how passionate I am about animals/dogs. About: I don't have a ton of experience with pet-sitting, but I LOVE animals. My two cats are my life, and I always do what I can to ensure they are happy in their forever home. I've always grown up with animals in my home, so adding some more fur-rends (please laugh) temporarily is always welcome. My days are usually very open, since I just graduated high school. About: I bring over 30 years of personal and professional experience working with and loving animals. I have worked and volunteered at several organizations (York SPCA, Hershey Zoo America, and Animal Rescue) since 1998. In those roles, I have cleaned kennels, walked and cared for dogs, played and cared with cats, and provided education of North American animals at the zoo. I love all animals especially seniors and I am comfortable with all size dogs. In fact, I have one pit bull and a turtle. I have fostered 4 pitties. Growing up, I lived on a small farmette and we had lots of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, a horse and an iguana. About: I truly believe that pets are part of the family and am here to treat yours as my own. I am the first person my friends turn to when they need a sitter, and have both hosted dogs in my house and stayed with them in their own. I also enjoy pet visits and walks! I work as a teacher, so most of my availability is on the weekend and during summer months, although I am available for evening visits or walks during the week. I have a large fenced in yard that is great for running and playing and live in a neighborhood ideal for walks. I have a large crate available, if your dog’s routine includes crating. My own golden retriever would love to be friends with and keep your pet company! While I allow pets on my furniture and beds, I will follow the rules established for your pet. Your pet will receive plenty of love and attention!
