My husband and I wanted to go away for Valentine's day weekend to get some alone time and we have never been away from our Sheldon, who is a clumsy, gentle giant and lovable doberman pinscher puppy (1yr and 2months and 80lbs lol). My husband was thinking of boarding him at a kennel and I could not stand the thought of him being locked up in a cold pen like a wild caged animal. Honest to goodness (Rover did not pay me) I told my husband about this commercial I saw about people who offer dog services- Rover.com. My husband was skeptical and well, I thought it would be better than a cold pen, where he would pee and poop in his area and let out for so long per day. The site was easy to use and i knew what type of person i was looking for. I wanted my baby to be in a home where he would be loved as their own, warm, and in constant contact with humans (if you dont know anything about Dobermans, they are called velcro dogs because they are attached at your hip and have to be where ever you go). I looked and read Marie's profile and I just knew she was the ONE! Her family was awesome, they loved Sheldon and she gave us frequent updates of their adventures, runs, and how he he'd wind down at night and even included lots of pictures! We could tell he was having the time of his life! Marie and her family put our minds at ease knowing we left him in good hands. We could not be more grateful to have found them. About: What sets me apart is the level of personalized care and experience I bring. I have over 6 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. While we don’t have a fenced yard, I prioritize frequent walks, outdoor time, and supervised potty breaks to ensure dogs stay active and engaged. We also have a friendly, goofy, and welcoming Golden Retriever who loves having dog friends and helps new pups feel comfortable quickly. I focus on consistency, safety, and making sure every dog feels at home, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care is part of my daily routine, not an afterthought. I’m available to board your dog or provide care for a few hours, depending on your needs. I’m fully available on weekends, and I also work from home on Mondays and Fridays, allowing me to give your dog consistent attention and companionship on those days as well. I usually take our dog out every four hours. But depending on your dog needs, i can adjust.Depending on your pups needs, i can keep them separate from our dog or keep them together. I am flexible.

“We were desperate last minute for someone to watch our dog on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We reached out to Lydianis and her husband Alex on Rover. They were very quick to respond and continued with good communication throughout the entire time they had my dog. They took the time, at a very busy time of year, to meet us on the Sunday before at a local park and introduced their beautiful Lab Chase to us. Seeing how well they handled Chase and how understanding they were of Clementine’s intimidation, really eased our minds of my small dog being around a bigger dog and it showed how compassionate these two fun dog loving people are towards their guest dogs and owners. Prior to Clem's stay, they asked all the right questions about how to care for her and what they could do to help with any anxiety, when to feed her how much, etc., We felt very comfortable with them and liked both of them very much! We will definitely be calling again to have them watch our little fur baby!”
