Our dog (Benny) was just diagnosed as being hypothyroid and was dealing with many different associated conditions that required medicines and a lot of extra care. This was why we decided to try Rover rather than just boarding him at a kennel. Johanny was available at late notice and was amazing with Benny. We received pictures each day and she had no trouble administering all the medications. He was healthy when we returned and we are incredibly grateful for the care that she provided. We tried kennels and while they were safe and well managed, my pup was simply anxious in a loud setting with limited contact. About: For 13 years, I helped take care of and watch over our beautiful family dog. She loved to play in the yard and go on long walks around the neighborhood. Since then, I have attained more animal experience by house-sitting a friend's dog and cat for a weekend, as well as walking a dog almost every day for two years. I have 3 cats and if your dog does not like cats, they are perfectly fine hanging out in the basement during your dog's stay. This is my 7th year pet sitting. I am very reliable and have pet sat for my neighbors, friends and family's pets. I volunteered for a pet shelter for six months cleaning cages and walking dogs.
