About: Being around dogs has been the foundation of my life since the age of 3. From caring for my own pets, helping our neighbor who bred collies, and caring for dogs while also caring for my patients at work as a home health occupational therapist, I feel like every pet is part of my family. My heart is full around any four legged friend and I strive to care for them, show them the deepest love, and teach them as I do my own children. It’s in my blood! I currently work as a home health OT with a flexible schedule during the day. I also have windows of time during the evenings and weekends to care for any pet. Teaching my sons responsibility and skills required to care well for animals are just an added bonus! I own my home with a large yard in the rear of the home. About: I’ve grown up with dogs all of my childhood. I just started this as a side hustle, and I absolutely love it! I love meeting new pups and being a helping hand to somebody as well! I work a full time job outside of pet sitting. I’m gone from 4-10/11 at the latest, and my off days are Tuesdays and Thursdays. My schedule is very flexible, so if there are any issues with my work schedule, it can be moved around. I’m typically gone between 6-8 hours depending on travel time as well. I stay at the client’s house so that way their pets are comfortable in their own home and environment. I do an initial meet and greet before the date needed to pet sit so the pets meet me and recognize me while i’m staying with them.

Currently we have 2 dogs, a purebred (very hyper) 32lb female Siberian Husky & a Designer Breed (spunky) 15lb female Pomsky. They are both crate trained & house trained as they are both ESA (Emotional Support Animals) & I take that very seriously as to their training & how exactly I want them to behave. I recently lost my female German Shepherd; & a year prior my male Siberian Husky. My male Siberian was epileptic so I’m experienced in offering meds and know that having them on hand & on time IS A MUST for things of this nature! My shepherd was very elderly & required a lot of extra love, care & attention also. *I offer very basic kitty care. I cannot host cats in my home due to the prey drive of my husky, sometimes she’s ok with them, other times not. *I’ll do feedings for lizards as I have had a few bearded dragon myself as well so I’m knowledgeable here also. (But under no circumstances ask me to care for your snake, or your spider!) ***I offer walks, playtime, feed & water breaks, treat time, medication administration ALL in my standard fee. Anything else, just ask! I’m very flexible & willing to work out most things if we can come to an agreement suitable for both sides. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. All services will be provided in your home, where your pet can stay in a familiar environment and stick to their normal routine. I’ll carefully follow any instructions you provide regarding feeding, medications, walks, training, or special needs. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pet, and I’ll treat your home and your animals with the same care and respect I would expect for my own.
About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats since I was about 8 years old! I have always had a love for being around animals. I am a college student, so currently my summer is mostly free! I have a good amount of availability at any time of the week. I have a fenced in yard so both of my dogs can run free, yet stay safe! Both of my cats spend their time indoors.
About: I’m Emily! A little about me: I love to run, lift, paint, and read. I am currently a student at the University of Pittsburgh studying Speech Pathology and Audiology who’s home for the summer! I've been a pet owner myself for about 5 years now. My family currently has three cats and has had a dog and another cat in the past. Within the last seven years I have dog and cat sat for a lot of my extended family and friends. I'm currently on the hunt for a part-time job for the summer, so I have plenty of time on my hands to look after and care for pets. I also have my own car and am hanging out with friends a lot, so I am always around. I am very diligent with making sure doors and windows are shut and locked to ensure that your pets do not go in or out (if they're indoor pets/ not on a leash) as I have to do that with my own pets! I also realize as it grows hotter, animals become dehydrated and hot as well, and I am careful to make sure water bowls are filled, and there is water during walks as well.
About: I started training dogs at a very young age, and decided to make it into a career a few years ago. I specialize in fearful and reactive dogs, the overlooked and misunderstood. I have open availability Saturday through Tuesday! Even on the other days I am working, I’m always working with dogs. We can always work around work schedules If your dog is up for it- I will include your dog in my daily life as if they’re part of the family. If they prefer a place to be calm by themselves, I have a few runs to offer for that as well. I also do in home training, as well as meeting up at dog friendly locations depending on the need of the dog.
About: I’ve walked dogs since I was 12. I’ve had my own pets for 5 years now. I have experience with puppy and kitten care. Currently have a dog and a cat. I’m in college Monday and Wednesday 9-4/Tuesday and Thursday 9-2. I am free all weekends and most evenings. I can do overnight care if requested. I have a long lead for my backyard. I also am able to crate your dog if requested. I have a crate large enough for a Great Dane. I do have one dog who is extremely friendly and an older cat.
About: I have had dogs my whole life. I have the ability to be able to stay home with my family and my pets and care for them during the day and night making sure no one is ever alone ❤️ Currently a stay at home mom caring for my 5 year old and 1 year old twins! With being home I have all the time in the world to dedicate to your fur babies. We love adventures like playing in the fenced in yard, throwing ball and going on long walks. About: I graduated with a BS in animal science with a companion animal emphasis, obtaining knowledge/experiences through classes, labs, internships, and employment. I worked as a veterinary assistant and kennel tech throughout undergrad seasonally and for several months post-grad at 2 different clinics. I also worked as a wildlife rescue & rehab intern and aquarist intern during undergrad, focusing on animal care and husbandry. Lastly, I have owned/helped care for family pets almost my whole life (including rodents, rabbits, and a dog) and have pet sat dogs and cats for family friends/neighbors on the side. When caring for pets in the client’s home, I like to stick to the pet’s routine to avoid any changes in their typical schedule. I take extra precautions when it comes to open doors, ensuring they are correctly and safely in their crate when applicable, and accompanying them when outside for potty breaks. About: Being around dogs has been the foundation of my life since the age of 3. From caring for my own pets, helping our neighbor who bred collies, and caring for dogs while also caring for my patients at work as a home health occupational therapist, I feel like every pet is part of my family. My heart is full around any four legged friend and I strive to care for them, show them the deepest love, and teach them as I do my own children. It’s in my blood!
