We had a very busy and hectic schedule during our visit with family up in the York/Hanover area, Chelsea worked with us each day on our drop off and pick up times which allowed us to spend time with our grandkids without being rushed or stressed about our furbaby Rascal. We were updated with text and pictures from Chelsea each day she had Rascal. One of our concerns was Rascal doesn't like being crated and Chelsea let us up front she doesn't crate dogs. She allows them to be on her furniture and has dog beds for them to lay on as well. She takes them out for walks and potty breaks and Rascal seems extremely happy when he was with Chelsea and her family. If we lived in the area we would use Chelsea again and again. We are very grateful to have found Chelsea for our furbaby Rascal, she was so good to him. We highly recommend you choosing Chelsea to watch your furbaby.”

About: I was raised as a child with pets - fish, cats and of course dogs. Growing up we had 2 Irish Setters a Chihuahua and multiple cats. As an adult I started off with just having multiple cats and then began to have dogs enter my life again. I had a very loving Pit Bull for a short period of time and a few years later I adopted a Boston Terrier who is now 13 years old. In addition to my senior dog, I now also have a 1 ½ year old Boston and 1 senior cat. I never had children so these are my kids and my extended family. I do everything I can to ensure they have a loving home and are well cared for and I will do the same for your four-legged kids :) With a lot of patience I have been able to do a few simple commands with my dogs. I have experience with potty training a puppy and also have extensive experience with senior dogs as my senior is currently half blind, has incontinence issues (at times) and has trouble walking. I currently can be home during the day and am usually home in the evenings and on weekends. When I know im pet sitting i stay home so my focus is on your pet. I spend a lot of time playing, walking and giving love to my pets. I will do the same for yours. I have a large unfenced yard but also have a dog park nearby that i utilize. I’m Mags (Rover requires me to use my legal name) and I love all animals I have been passionate about dogs ever since I was a child but because experienced working with dogs and cats (and some bunnies) while working for the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County. I was a veterinarian assistant for one year and then became an adoptions Manager for three years. This was the most fulfilling experience of my adult life, being able to help animals and the community daily. I recently lost my closest companion, Xander, about a month ago. He was 13 years old and I had him since he walked into the humane society at two months old. Through him I gained even more experience with aging dogs, medical care and many behavioral changes as he aged. While using positive reinforcement training we navigated 6 military moves, life adaptions to aging and the introduction of two kittens. I will take all this experience and use it to provide the same amount of love an attention for you furry family members as I did for Xander. I am currently employed part time and have many days free as well as can stay over night or board animals in my home. I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work with any client’s schedule as needed. I currently only have two cats in my home, so I’m able to provide boarding for cat friendly animals. I have a fenced in back yard and am usually not gone from the house for more than four hours. I also am available for staying over nights at clients houses for a more comfortable experience for everyone in the family.
