I cannot host cats in my home due to the prey drive of my husky, sometimes she’s ok with them, other times not. *I’ll do feedings for lizards as I have had a few bearded dragons myself as well so I’m knowledgeable here also. (But under no circumstances ask me to care for your snake, or your spider!) ***I offer potty breaks, walks, playtime, feed & water breaks, treat time, medication administration ALL in my standard fee. Anything else, just ask! I’m very flexible & willing to work out most things if we can come to an agreement suitable for both sides. I've been a pet owner myself for about 5 years now. My family currently has three cats and has had a dog and another cat in the past. Within the last seven years I have dog and cat sat for a lot of my extended family and friends. I am very diligent with making sure doors and windows are shut and locked to ensure that your pets do not go in or out (if they're indoor pets/ not on a leash) as I have to do that with my own pets! I also realize as it grows hotter, animals become dehydrated and hot as well, and I am careful to make sure water bowls are filled, and there is water during walks as well.

About: I started training dogs at a very young age, and decided to make it into a career a few years ago. I specialize in fearful and reactive dogs, the overlooked and misunderstood. About: I graduated with a BS in animal science with a companion animal emphasis, obtaining knowledge/experiences through classes, labs, internships, and employment. I worked as a veterinary assistant and kennel tech throughout undergrad seasonally and for several months post-grad at 2 different clinics. I also worked as a wildlife rescue & rehab intern and aquarist intern during undergrad, focusing on animal care and husbandry. Lastly, I have owned/helped care for family pets almost my whole life (including rodents, rabbits, and a dog) and have pet sat dogs and cats for family friends/neighbors on the side. I am beginning a full time gig on July 13. I will not be working a typical 9-5, so my availability may vary week to week and we can discuss further details upon inquiry! I will not make myself available if the time allotted is not appropriate to truly care for your pet. I deeply care about animals and would love to do what I can, especially since I cannot have my family pup & chinchilla with me at school. I will surely abide by clients' wishes regarding their caretaking directions and preferences. I will also be mindful and respectful of being in another person's space, and clean up after myself and the fur babies.

Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as a SAHW—I prioritize it just like any other responsibility. I plan my schedule to ensure I’m available for consistent visits, whether that’s morning, afternoon, or evening. I’m very mindful of keeping pets on their normal routine, so I build my day around their feeding, playtime, and care needs. I care for pets by keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible, whether in my home or my client’s home. In a client’s home, I follow all provided instructions closely—feeding schedules, litter box cleaning, playtime, and any medications if needed. I also make sure the space stays clean and your cat feels comfortable in their familiar environment. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a calm, safe space with plenty of attention, enrichment, and a clean setup. I always prioritize safety, hygiene, and clear communication, and I send regular updates with photos.
About: I have been taking care of my own dogs and those of neighbors, family & friends for 15 years. I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages and some with special needs. I’m on break from college for now, so I have plenty of free time to spend with your pets! I can take care of pets weekdays/weeknights/weekends. I will use a harness and leash each time I take them out, unless otherwise directed (such as invisible fence). Their safety and happiness is my top priority.
