About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I was the little kid that visited the neighbors just to see their dogs. I have dog sat on many occasions. I am very detail oriented and love abiding by schedules. I do not mind the size of the dog either. The more dogs you have the better. I will gladly meet the dog(s) beforehand to see if they are comfortable with me. Other pets are also welcome too! The most animals I have watched at one time was three dogs and one cat. I am not opposed to light cleaning for the animals when necessary. Any routines you have for feeding or walking will always be followed. If you have any questions please ask me. About: NOTE: Shae is my legal name but I go by Freyja. Having grown up with dogs (black labs mostly), rabbits, birds, fish, lizards, and amphibians, I am quite comfortable around all animals. It seems only natural that I ended up working in the Denali NPS Kennel and ran sled dog tours on Svalbard. I worked at a dog daycare for about 4 months and a pig rescue/boarding facility for a few months as well. I LOVE big dogs! I am self-employed though I am a student, so my schedule is a bit different most days. Generally, afternoons and evenings are available. As my self employment requires me to be at my home office, I prefer not to do overnights regularly. As each pet requires something a little different, I like to ensure that I know what they need to thrive and will do my absolute best to make sure they receive it.

Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I intentionally structure my schedule to allow dedicated time for walks, drop-in visits, and consistent care without rushing. This flexibility allows me to be reliable, punctual, and fully present during each visit. I care for pets by following their established routines and prioritizing safety, comfort, and individual needs—whether I’m in your home for a drop-in visit or out on a walk. I carefully review all instructions related to feeding, walking routes, harnesses, training cues, and any special care needs. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get bathroom breaks, exercise, and plenty of attention. I also check the home environment to ensure everything is secure and clean before I leave. For walks, I focus on safe leash handling, awareness of surroundings, and pacing the walk to your dog’s energy level and comfort. Communication is important to me, so I always provide updates after each visit or walk so you know how your pet is doing. My goal is to make every experience calm, consistent, and positive—for both you and your pet.

About: I will give your dog(s) my undivided attention. They will be fed and taken for walks. I will engage with them throughout the day, as I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. I will care for them just like they were my own pet. Being a dog owner myself, I understand how much they mean to their families. In case of an emergency at home or work, I will provide the necessary care for your dogs. I have a unique bond with every dog I meet and truly enjoy their company, ensuring they receive plenty of affection. In the past, I have cared for my family's dogs, feeding and walking them nearly every day. I am knowledgeable about how to handle dogs safely. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to dog-sit and walk the dogs entrusted to my care. Pet caring is one of my passion because they bring so much joy to our lives. With this being said after work I do appreciate the love my fur babies give me. I love to play and run with fur babies and I also get my weekly exercise in! I have a yard that they can run freely in. They will have access to my balcony for when they need cooling and some quiet.

During his stay with her, Carissa kept in touch with me with appropriate updates, including photos and a few short videos. She was flexible on drop off and pick up times, which was great because my return home was delayed a little bit with traffic. I’d recommend her for sure and already booked Lennox for another stay with her in a few weeks!”

“Cheyenne was a savior. She agreed to board our pet (Snowball) when we had a last minute cancellation. She was very quick to provide a response when we reached out via the Rover app to have a quick meet and greet and agreed to board snowball. Sure was very considerate and understanding our angst about staying away from our pet and regularly shared Snowball's photos. Snowball had a great time with waffle and Cheyenne's family. She took extra care to feeding snowball when snowball was missing us, took her on walks and hike, treated her with ice cream and went out of her way to give snowball a bath and made her smell really good with aromatic oils. We were very lucky to find someone as caring as Cheyenne and her family, so much so that we already planned to board Snowball with her in our upcoming trip. Thank you for taking so good care of her.”
