“Carissa was a great sitter for Lennox - he seems to have enjoyed her care and the company of her pet, Judge. He came back happy! During his stay with her, Carissa kept in touch with me with appropriate updates, including photos and a few short videos. She was flexible on drop off and pick up times, which was great because my return home was delayed a little bit with traffic. I’d recommend her for sure and already booked Lennox for another stay with her in a few weeks!”

“We highly recommend Amy! Amy was very welcoming and listened to my concerns at drop off. We were able to relax and enjoy our visit with family knowing that our girls were being so well cared for. We got pictures and updates daily and could see that the girls were having a good time. We will definitely contact Amy next time we come out this way.”

“Bee was absolutely wonderful! She seemed to have a magic touch with my goldens Daisy and Jude, who haven’t had much socialization with humans besides family. It was the first time they’ve ever been boarded, which was nerve wracking, but luckily she sent photos throughout their stay which put my mind at ease. They had a great time running around and playing in her big backyard, which is fenced. I would definitely recommend Bee and book with her again! ?”

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I was the little kid that visited the neighbors just to see their dogs. I have dog sat on many occasions. I am very detail oriented and love abiding by schedules. I do not mind the size of the dog either. The more dogs you have the better. I will gladly meet the dog(s) beforehand to see if they are comfortable with me. Other pets are also welcome too! The most animals I have watched at one time was three dogs and one cat. I am not opposed to light cleaning for the animals when necessary. Any routines you have for feeding or walking will always be followed. If you have any questions please ask me. I look forward to meeting your pets!
“Logan was wonderful with our two kitties. They are very shy and skittish and Logan was patient and kind and wisely waited for them to make friends in their own time. Now they love him! He was great at keeping us informed, dependable, and helpful. He did everything we asked and spent lots of time with our pets. He even took care of some outside snow and ice for us! We will definitely request Logan again. Very happy pet parents!”

About: Cats rule! My Soul Cat Sophie made me a cat lover almost 20 years ago. Ever since then, I couldn't live without having a cat in my life. I have cat-sat 1-20 cats at one time! I can read cat tails (most of the time)! Aspiring to be a cat behaviorist!! Cat whisperer. They know I'm a cat person! Bonus: I have experience with litter robots!
“Colleen checked in on my cats while I was out of town. She refilled food and water supply, and changed the waste bin for the automated litter box. She gave me photo updates of my cats greeting her at the door. I appreciated her services and would book again for whenever I am out of town.”

“Nate took good care of my 2 senior cats while I was away on vacation. He did daily drop in visits, litter box, fed/watered, gave 1 daily medication, and spent time with them. He also sent pics and gave me updates. My house was clean when I got home. Nate was prompt to respond on the site, we met in advance at a public eatery to get to know each other, and he came to my house after to meet my cats and get a basic run down on their needs. He was very pleasant, easy to talk to, and my cats took an instant liking to him. I would highly recommend him to others and will hire him again in the future! It's so hard to find good, reliable yet reasonable pet care. Thank you so much Nate!!!”

“We literally could not have asked for a better sitter than Emily! She was absolutely amazing with our dog, Benji, over our wedding weekend. From the start, she was so patient and flexible, meeting with him ahead of time, spending multiple days getting to know him, and being incredibly understanding of his more anxious personality. Emily went above and beyond to make sure Benji felt comfortable and cared for, and she made us feel completely at ease while we were away. We never once worried because we knew he was in such great hands. Her communication, reliability, and genuine love for animals truly set her apart. We felt so safe with her the entire weekend and can’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and amazing with their pets. Thank you, Emily, for being such a huge part of making our wedding weekend stress free you’re the best!”

“This is our first time using Rover, and Shayla is above and beyond our expectations. Our fullsize goldendoodle Mac is reactive to new people, and Shayla has put in the effort to go slow with our boy, and it's paying off. Over several visits, she has won over his curiosity and trust, and has asked us about his tendencies, to help ensure his comfort and routine as she prepares to house sit for us. Our trip will be the first time that both my husband and I are going away since we've had Mac, and I am certain he will be in great hands. I can't wait to see how Shayla's relationship with our dog continues. Seeing her approach with him, we can tell she's an experienced and knowledgeable sitter.”

“Jennifer was a great cat sitter while we were on vacation. She feed and cleaned up after our kitty and sent plenty of pictures. She is definitely my go to cat sitter going forward.”

About: Hi, I’m Tamera! I run Happy Howls Daycare and Walkies, where I bring over 11 years of professional pet care experience to every visit. One of my favorite aspects of this work is puppy care and foundational training. I understand the patience and consistency required for young dogs—from reinforcing potty schedules to working on basic leash manners and socialization. Whether you have a high-energy pup or a senior dog who needs a gentle pace, I tailor my care to their specific life stage. You’ll notice my last Rover review was in 2017; since then, I have been operating as a self-employed pet care provider for private clients. I’m returning to Rover now to meet new families and share my decade-plus of expertise with your furry friends. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and dedicated to making sure every "howl" is a happy one! I myself have 2 cats and 1 dog. I currently reside with my mother in a 4 bedroom house. My mother owns 5 cats, 1 small dog, and a ferret. All are friendly. Keep in mind if youd want care in my home. :) As a professional pet care provider, my daily and weekly schedule is designed entirely around the needs of my furry clients. Because I manage Happy Howls Daycare and Walkies as my primary focus, I am able to offer a high level of flexibility and dedicated attention that fits into a structured routine: Morning Energy (7:00 AM – 10:00 AM): My day starts early with morning 'potty breaks' and active walks. This is the prime time for puppies who are working on their training and need consistent outdoor reinforcement first thing in the morning. Mid-Day Adventures (11:00 AM – 3:00 PM): This block is dedicated to my core walking routes and daycare guests. I schedule midday visits to ensure dogs get their much-needed exercise and socialization while their owners are at work. Afternoon Wind-Down (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM): I focus on late-afternoon walks and feeding schedules. For daycare pups, this is a time for calm play and getting them ready for their evening transition back home. Seven-Day Availability: While my busiest days are Monday through Friday, I am also available for weekend 'walkies' and daycare by request. This ensures that whether it’s a standard work week or a busy weekend, your pet has a consistent and familiar face to look forward to. Throughout the day, I maintain a very organized schedule. I make sure to leave plenty of time between visits so I am never rushed, allowing me to give each dog my full attention, work on training cues, and send plenty of photo updates to you. When your pet stays with me, my home becomes their second home. I focus on creating a calm, structured environment where they can feel secure while you’re away." Safety First: I maintain a 'paws-on-the-floor' policy for greetings to keep excitement levels manageable, especially for puppies in training. My home is fully pet-proofed to ensure a hazard-free stay. Routine & Structure: I mirror your dog's home routine as closely as possible—including specific feeding times, nap schedules, and any 'house rules' you have in place. Supervised Socialization: If multiple dogs are present, interactions are always 100% supervised. I use my experience to read body language and ensure every pup feels comfortable and respected. Cleanliness: I maintain high sanitation standards to keep everyone healthy and happy. In Your Home: Walkies & Drop-Ins "My goal for home visits is to provide high-quality care while leaving your home exactly as I found it—with the addition of a very happy dog!" Secure Entry & Exit: I am extremely diligent with home security. I double-check that all doors and gates are locked and that security systems are reset upon my departure. The Walk Experience: Safety is my priority on 'walkies.' I use sturdy leashes, avoid high-traffic or 'unpredictable' areas, and keep a close eye on the pavement temperature and weather conditions. Puppy/Senior Care: For clients at your home, I customize the visit. For puppies, this includes cleaning any accidents and reinforcing potty training; for seniors, it may involve gentle mobility assistance or administering medication. Detailed Check-ins: You will receive a Rover card after every visit with a summary of the walk, 'business' handled, and a few high-quality photos of your pet’s adventures.

About: I’ve owned and taken care of animals ever since I was a child including dogs, cats, and farm animals. I have extensive experience in handling and caretaking of dogs. I volunteer and walk dogs at animal shelters near me. I am available any day of the week at this time. I can board, walk and sit for animals in my home or their owner’s homes. My first and foremost concern is the animals wellbeing. So I can go to their home if that’s the best option for them and the owner. I can also board in my home. I currently have 1 senior cat who is rather shy but has been around dogs and other cats in the past. I have a big yard where I can take and walk dogs outside to play and exercise. I could also crate if it’s needed.
About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages. I’ve taken care of my senior dog for years, which has taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to support older dogs’ needs. I’ve also been around puppies and high-energy dogs my entire life, as my grandparents board Border Collies. I’m comfortable with different personalities, routines, and energy levels, and I focus on making every dog feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. Pet care is a constant part of my daily routine. I regularly care for my senior dog, who is blind and deaf, making sure he gets the stimulation he needs and is fed the correct food at the proper times. I also have a cat living with me, so I make time every day for her playtime, affection, meals, and treats. Caring for pets is already built into my schedule, allowing me to give consistent and attentive care. I prioritize safety, comfort, and consistency in both my home and my clients’ homes. I follow all care instructions closely, maintain clean and secure spaces, and pay close attention to pets’ routines and behaviors. I’m especially mindful of doors, feeding schedules, and creating a calm environment to reduce stress. Whether in my home or theirs, I treat every pet with patience, respect, and attentive care to help them feel safe and at ease.
“Another great visit by Lori. She is mindful of timing the arrival to the dogs schedule. As I have one older dog, she is careful to watch and see if his is up to the usual walk. If she gets through the walk early, she takes time to play with the dogs back at the house. We are grateful to have Lori as a dog sitter/walker.”

Examples of care; walking them, to giving them medicine (if needed), feeding them, making sure they have water, don’t overheat, have basically everything they need as they are with me, to having them for sleep overs, and staying with them for however long was needed. This is more then just making it my routine. I adore animal(s). I have a fenced in yard, I as well have a crate. Plenty of opportunities for walking adventures. I enjoy going to the dog park, as well with adventuring outside anywhere with the animal(s). Whatever you set for rules or boundaries I’ll always continue to respect them, and always follow. I live in a pet friendly apartment, however, I do prefer to travel and take care of pets, in the comfort of their own homes.
“Shayla did a great job walking my special boi! He’s a bit of a puller but she was super understanding and accommodating. She even found him a nice open field to run in and get his energy out! I appreciated the detailed summary card she left at the end too. Will request again! Thanks Shayla!”

“Adiana is absolutely the best! My dog was well taken care of during his stay with her. It was my first time leaving my dog with someone who wasn't family and she made it so worry free for me!”

“Joelene was an excellent sitter to our doberman Letty! Joelene has a very sweet disposition, sends pics daily, and truly cares! I highly recommend and will book her again if needed!”

About: I am a Dog Trainer with years of personal and professional experience taking care of, training and boarding all types of breeds, ages, and sizes. Growing up, I was raised in an animal loving household and have carried that love into my adult life. I currently have 3 dogs and 3 cats of my own and they are my absolute world. Training and taking care of animals is and always has been a passion of mine. Booking with me means your pups become apart of my family and ensuring their health, safety and overall happiness. 🐾🦴 I am a full time Professional Dog Trainer with a very flexible schedule. A majority of the dogs I train live with me so most of my job is "home based". When I'm not out training, I am at home caring for your pups. My world revolves around your pets and their everyday needs. Whenever your pup cannot be supervised, they will be in a kennel inside my home for their saftey. For example, whenever I am not home and overnight. My backyard is completely fenced in and the dogs have tons of free time and space to get their energy out and run around. Dogs are always being supervised during free/play time to ensure their safety and safety of others.
“Cheyenne takes excellent care of our Lainey! She keeps us updated daily as to how she’s doing and Lainey loves her puppies Cheetos & Popcorn. We are definitely at ease when we’re away knowing the care Lainey is getting and highly recommended Cheyenne.”

“I’m new to the area so I was a little nervous about trusting my dog with anyone especially overnight, but Jamie took great care of my Nina. She sent me pictures of my dog warming up to her. My dog seemed to have a good time. If I go out of town again I will definitely be booking with Jamie again!”

“Sairy was amazing with Dutchie for a 6 night stay. Very flexible with pick up/drop off as well as communicative with picture and videos. I was able to relax on vacation knowing he was in Sairy’s care. Thank you again Sairy!”

“Right from the start, Kerri was so great to us. She came over to meet our dog beforehand and sent us messages with pictures while we were away. She really put us at ease, and we appreciate that so much. We recommend her 100%.”
