About: I've walked dogs, as well as watched them while the owners were away since I was little. I don't currently own any larger animals, but I have always handled them. Any dog wouldn't be an issue I currently could fill pretty much any need! I have a few hours of every day that I am busy, but I can be available pretty much anytime! I have an unfenced in yard that I would keep the dog leashed within, but I also know many of the dog friendly hiking trails within the Altoona area. I would be will to do whatever your most comfortable with!

I will not accept a request without meeting you and your pet(s) first. This gives us an opportunity to go over all your pet’s needs and your questions. Number one question I get - will you be bringing your dog to my home? Sometimes this is out of curiosity, sometimes they like the idea of their pet having a buddy, but usually it is a safety concern. My dog will never enter your home. When I house sit overnight my dog stays with my sister. She is perfectly happy there and I don’t have to split my focus. My job is to focus on YOUR pet! During walks and in general, I do not allow dogs to interact with people or other dogs/pets. This is a big safety concern, as I often know nothing about other people/pets in the area. I do not take those types of liberties with your pets. We will instead turn a corner, cross the street, come back the way we came, or I politely inform them that ‘this is not my dog’, ‘we don’t have time today’, etc.

About: I have cared for many different types of animals since I was a child. Dogs, cats, bunnies, rats and hamsters. Fostered and lived with many dogs. I currently have dogs and cats. They are the joy of my life especially since the kids (and grand dogs) have grown and moved. Couldn’t imagine life without them. I have two dogs and 2 cats to keep the fur guests company. About: I've walked dogs, as well as watched them while the owners were away since I was little. I don't currently own any larger animals, but I have always handled them. Any dog wouldn't be an issue I currently could fill pretty much any need! I have a few hours of every day that I am busy, but I can be available pretty much anytime! I have an unfenced in yard that I would keep the dog leashed within, but I also know many of the dog friendly hiking trails within the Altoona area. I would be will to do whatever your most comfortable with!
About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life, at least 8 over the years, plus 9 puppies we rehomed to better lives. My mom and I were always the type to stop for any dog that needed help, so caring for them just became second nature to me. I was always the go-to in my family when it came to looking after them, no matter how many we had at once. Your dog will be in hands that genuinely love them. I have a flexible schedule so I'm available pretty much anytime. If you're able to book it, I'm always there and ready. I care for pets in my home and treat them like my own. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life growing up. Anywhere from small, medium, to large dogs. I’ve had mini dachshunds, Dalmatians, St. Bernards, and German Shepherds. Currently right now I have a 3 Golden Retrievers named Willie, Waylon, and Hank. I also have a cat named Cash! I current work full time Monday-Thursday. I can be available later evenings if needed, we would just have to work things out in advance. I am generally free Friday-Sunday for any needs as well but also with notice. We have a 2 acre yard that my pups are free to roam via a underground fence. But we also have a lead for my moms dogs when she brings them over to play. We have a big house with a good sized living room and kitchen where all of my pups play as well when we have to be inside.
