Back home in Ohio I have a sweet Mini Schnauzer who is 11 years old. He is blind and diabetic, so I have lots of experience taking care of older pups with medical needs. I also have a 7 year old Australian Shepard who has LOTS of energy and is always bouncing off the walls. She loves to play and herd her brother. Two new additions to the fam are 2 year old bernadoodles-lots of dog in the house! I have a bit of an odd schedule where over the winter I work M-F completely remote and in the spring-fall I work Th-M half remote and half in person at North Park with Tuesday and Wednesday as my “weekends.” There is some variability to this schedule, but for the most part it is as described. I live with my boyfriend in a three level townhouse that has a large yard and is on a safe, quiet street. When fury friends visit us they are allowed on the furniture and we make sure to take them out on walks at least 4 times a day. Typically this looks like right when we wake up, during lunch, after dinner, and right before bed. When I stay at a pup’s house, I make sure to leave it cleaner than I found it!

I am comfortable with cleaning messes, longterm stays, overnights, and honestly whatever else is needed during your time away. I would love to send pictures and updates of your pets as much as you would like them - your pets become main characters in my life within minutes of meeting them! I am your introverted, nurturing childless millennial that treats every animal with endless attention and love. As a speech-language pathologist, I also think that understanding animal communication and respecting boundaries are key. If your pet is showing me they need space, I will listen to them and make sure they are well fed, their needs are met and a soft presence is near. If they are showing me that they need more love and attention, I will stay and give them more love and attention! I can’t wait to meet your furry family. Right now, my schedule is wonderfully flexible. I’m a teacher on summer break and transitioning into a teletherapy position, so I have plenty of availability to care for your pets throughout the day. I believe pets are happiest when their routines stay as consistent as possible, so I make it a priority to learn each pet’s normal schedule, preferences, personality, and needs before their owner leaves. In a client’s home, I carefully follow feeding schedules, refresh water, clean litter boxes and outdoor areas as needed, administer medications when required, and make sure pets receive the exercise, enrichment, affection, and companionship they have when you’re home. I pay close attention to body language, behavior changes, appetite, energy levels, and overall well-being. As a speech-language pathologist, communication is a big part of my professional life, and I bring that same attentiveness to the animals in my care. I believe good pet care means respecting boundaries, recognizing needs, and responding appropriately to what an animal is communicating. I also love sending photos and updates, because I know how reassuring it is to see your pet happy and comfortable while you’re away. My goal is always to provide a safe, calm, loving environment and to care for your pets the same way I would hope someone would care for my own.
About: I have a cat, she’s 22 years of age and have cared for dogs of all sizes throughout life. I am open to caring for any type of animal. I currently work full time with Friday and Saturday off. I assure that your fur babies will get exercise/play time, potty breaks, and any other special care they would need At your home, I’ll have no problem continuing your schedule with your fur baby. About: I’ve had my own dog for 12 years, and have been working with dogs for years at a doggy daycare! About: I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, and rats. I started pet sitting for family and friends at 15. Since 2024, I’ve been employed by a dog daycare and boarding business in Robinson Township. I work there on my between semester breaks from school. I am a full time student at Seton Hill University and I have two part time jobs so I can be pretty busy. I keep my availability fairly up to date, however I’m normally pretty flexible even if I mark myself as “unavailable” so always feel free to reach out and we can try to work something out! About: Hello! My name is Skylar and I am a recent college grad who has been in Pittsburgh about 2 years. I have over 70 5-star ratings on Wag, which is a similar app to Rover. Back home in Ohio I have a sweet Mini Schnauzer who is 11 years old. He is blind and diabetic, so I have lots of experience taking care of older pups with medical needs. I also have a 7 year old Australian Shepard who has LOTS of energy and is always bouncing off the walls. She loves to play and herd her brother. Two new additions to the fam are 2 year old bernadoodles-lots of dog in the house! I miss my sweet pups, which is why I love to use Wag and Rover :) I absolutely adore any dog I come across and would love to get to know you and your doggo! I have a bit of an odd schedule where over the winter I work M-F completely remote and in the spring-fall I work Th-M half remote and half in person at North Park with Tuesday and Wednesday as my “weekends.” There is some variability to this schedule, but for the most part it is as described. I live with my boyfriend in a three level townhouse that has a large yard and is on a safe, quiet street. When fury friends visit us they are allowed on the furniture and we make sure to take them out on walks at least 4 times a day. Typically this looks like right when we wake up, during lunch, after dinner, and right before bed. When I stay at a pup’s house, I make sure to leave it cleaner than I found it!
