“Equasia is a beautiful person with a kind and generous soul. I was in a bind, looking for someone to watch my cat Leonidas, who has diabetes this past holiday weekend. I was going for knee surgery the Monday after the holiday and needed a safe place for him to stay. Equasia was willing and able to watch him, being ok with giving him his medicine at such short notice. We spoke on the phone so we could have a brief introduction and I was sold. Not only was she able and willing to watch him but I had no way of picking him up after my hospital discharge and she was willing to bring him home. She went above and beyond the care and support that was needed. She kept me posted daily on how he was and sent me pictures of him as well. I will be going through this surgery again and I will be making arrangements with Equasia for care of my little guy Leonidas. She wasn't just a pet sitter, she was a pet parent and she cared for him as such. 5 stars, I will always go to her if and when I need extended pet care. She provides a comfortable home for a newcomer, making it a safe space for him. I couldn't ask for a better place and person to watch over Leonidas. About: I have always owned animals from a young age which taught me the care that goes into animals whether it be dogs, cats, turtles, hamsters, hermit crabs and anything else my brother and aunt would find an interest in. I worked in a small grooming salon when I was a teenager, learning how to groom for dogs and do simple care for them like ears and nails. I also personally own four cats. I currently am working part time and have free time randomly that it would be hard to get another job to fill that free time. I enjoy making time for the things that I enjoy I have several cat trees in my home, I have a whole cat room with beds and toys, I have several litter boxes around my (their) home that are cleaned twice a day. When I’m babysitting my niece and nephew overnight once a week, my aunt makes sure the cats have some company while I’m away for one night. When I care for my moms dog, there is a fenced in yard, I refill his water dish when fresh water, measure out and give him his dinner or breakfast, let him outside and throw a ball around with him and check on her cats too. I am a nurse and work 12 hour shifts, but only work 3 days a week so I am available on my Off days! I usually have my schedule almost 2 months ahead of time. I am very loving and I want your pets to feel right at home. I will take care of them just as if they were my own pets. I will follow whatever rules you have or ways you want me too with your pets. I just absolutely adore pets and love spending any time I can with them.

Drop ins: take your pet outside to use the bathroom, clean up, make sure they are fed and have water and give them medication if needed. Walks: if they have a vest/coat i will put it on for them and take them around the closest neighborhood- or safest close by park. Over night stays: I always begin by making sure they use the bathroom. I will then make sure they are fed, have water and give medication if necessary. If there is an open yard that is enclosed by a fence I will play with them for at least 30-45 minutes before going in for the evening.
