About: Grew up with dogs in the family. A collie and a husky. Currently have a beagle that is 6 years old. Had her since she was 9 weeks old. We walk every day. Care is a high consideration on very cold days as well as hot and humid summer afternoons. I don't work during the summer months. Have time to care for a pet for someone or a family who needs help so they can plan a vacation or time away. Or for those who have a demanding time schedule. I only have one pet, dog, in the house. A fenced in yard and a wireframe crate that is 2 feet x 3 feet and about 2 - 2.5 feet high.

About: Growing up, my family has taken care of dozens of stray cats that had been roaming around our area. At first it was only a few, but some pregnant cats extended our care far longer than we expected haha. We eventually had to find homes for many of them, but we still kept a few that stayed with us for many, many years. Since then, I've cared for anywhere between 1 to 4 cats at a time for the majority of my adult life up until the past few years. About: I have taken care of pets for my whole life! I grew up on a farm with at least three dogs and five indoor cats at a time! I have worked at Dr. Mimnagh’s office as a veterinary assistant since 2020. With years of experience, I am more than qualified to care for, feed, and administer all medications to cats and dogs. I am comfortable with handling all sizes and personalities of cats and dogs. I have a dog and two cats of my own that I care for on the daily! I love to have fun with the animals and play with them but safety for all involved is the main priority. I am currently a student at the University of South Carolina and am looking to make some extra money over the summer! I personally have five cats and three dogs which I care for daily. I also work at a local vet clinic at least four days a week as a veterinary assistant. I do my best to volunteer at the Harrisburg humane society weekly for shelter skip day! About: All my friends always joked that my house was the zoo. Among fish, hamsters, birds and bunnies we always have had dogs as part of that zoo. I seem to have a natural kinship with animals and seem to be making friends with the dog at the party before the host. But, I can't imagine life any other way. It is always funny when walking a dog you don't know the owner's name but identify them as "Jack's Mom" I can't wait to care for your dog as my own. Your dog will be treated as if they were my own. We like to start and end every day with potty breaks along with atleast two walks per day. We allow your children to sit and sleep wherever they like. I am currently working full-time (about 15 minutes away from home), but my boyfriend (also a Rover sitter) works from home and can do daily potty breaks if needed.
About: Ever since I was a kid, I've been an animal lover. I've taken care of animals (both for myself and for others) for over 15 years. I've dog-sat, cat-sat, and chicken-sat for many friends and family members in that time. Since many of the pets I grew up with have begun to leave my life due to old age, I've found myself wanting to spend time with critters more. I figured why not look here to see what people may need help ensuring their pets get the proper care and attention they deserve. I am naturally a cat person, but have also learned how to work with, train, and play with dogs as a result of being around them so often. I try to balance being fun + compassionate along with being a calm but stern presence when necessary. And I'm happy to offer any and all pets a little extra playtime or attention if they need it as well (: I work from home, and have a relatively flexible schedule at least half of the week most of the time. I have time to shift my schedule around to accommodate pet care throughout the week. My only limit is often how many days out of the week I can work, but not what specific days I can watch someone's pets. My weekends can happen whenever during the week! It's important to me to start slow and develop a connection with someone's pet before acting too comfortable around them. Having ample play time, walk time, relaxation time, and a healthy amount of treats help get that process in motion. Ideally I'd love to find people I could work with regularly, strictly because I value developing a solid relationship with people's pets more than just "showing up and doing my job" - though I am very capable of doing that as well!
About: I've been taking care of dogs and cats since I was a young girl. I know a lot about body language, feeding routines, and behavior. I have no issues with any pets, as long as they don't bite! I work a full time job as a barista, hours ranging between 4:30a-3:30p sometimes even as late as 4:00 (I try to change my availability on Rover as I get my work schedule!), but I want to incorporate my pet care calling into my life, so I decided to pick this up as a part time! Caring for your animal, depending on dog or cat, I will have them leashed outside when walking, and monitor when outside in a fenced in yard, or given treats!

About: I’m a dog mom that works from home 95% of the time. With 4 dogs and almost an acre for a fenced in backyard, there is a lot of time for fun activities, cuddles, and the zoomies both in and outside of the house. I have experience with both puppies and elderly dogs, and have enough space throughout the house that either can be made comfortable in a space if needed. My daily AND weekly routine are very flexible as I can adjust my own schedule when needed. Even on work hours, I have a lot of free time on my hands that allow for short walks or some fun activities in the yard. My dogs always have time made for them, so I would love to include your pups in our free time. My backyard is fenced in and is a very large plot to allow for a quick stretch of the legs and multiple potty breaks. Smaller dogs will be taken on a leash as the fence is a rail type fence, but larger dogs will be allowed to roam freely around the yard. If your pups are not dog friendly it is a MUST know so that space can be separated from my own, but still allow them room to run and grow comfortable in a new space. Dogs are let out every 1-3 hours, depending on what is needed and can be adjusted as needed.

About: I've taken care of pets and animals since I was 10, I have a pet grooming certification as well. I've had experience with birds, fish, turtles and tortoises, dogs, cats, geckos, small rodents(guinea pigs, bunnies, mice, rats, ferrets, etc.) I have no issues with needing to give the animal medicine or extra care in any way. I'll be able to visit in the mornings, afternoon, and night Wednesday-Saturday. I can stop by anytime 4a-midnight. I can drop in 1-5 times a day. I have no issues with crating or using a muzzel when needed. I love being around animals and enjoy spending time with them. I can't take them on walks but I can play with them in a yard or house.

No hesitation to step in and they made sure my pup was fully cared for, even without all the usual supplies.
