About: I've had the privilege of loving a variety of dogs: a large rottie/shepherd mix, a rat terrier, and currently an american lab puppy. Now that our lab is beginning to calm down, I'm eager to use my energy to help other people care for their pets! We used Rover for many years and I understand how important it is to find loving, last minute care for your beloved pet. I'll be sure to show your pups the best of care while you're away! I live by Barclay mountain, south of Towanda and commute to the Sayre/Athens area for work, which allows me to check in on pets in a wide range. I'd be happy to swing by before and after work as well as on my lunch as long as your location allows! We have a large, unfenced lawn (one day planning to put in a fence for future farm animals) and a small pond on our large, wooded property. Our dog is boundary trained but we keep a long 50 foot lead for visitors! Dogs are welcome to snuggle up on the couch but generally expected to sleep in their crate or bed as bedrooms are off limits to our furry friends. When I come to you to care for your pets, it's important to me that I follow the usual routine that you've established with them!

“I could not have asked for a better boarding experience for Murphy. Julie and Kevin were amazing. When we arrived, Kevin was there to greet us and took Murphy into the backyard to play, helping him get acquainted with the surroundings before meeting their dog crew. Murphy has taken a real liking to their dog, Skittles; he gets so excited whenever I mention her name. I received regular updates and pictures from Julie, which I greatly appreciated. Kevin even slept on the couch next to Murphy's crate on the first night. We will definitely be a repeat customer.”

“I am very particular with my pup and her safety and I never feel nervous bringing her to Megan's place. She exercises her well and having other pups around helps to socialize my pup! Megan is top notch when it comes to help with training as well! She stays familiar with the rules I have for my dog and makes sure my dog is following the same rules in her home. Since my dog has been taken care of by Megan, she has learned how to walk better on a leash, learned new tricks and also reacts better with other dogs. Megan is extremely knowledgeable about dogs. This is the best doggy daycare I could ask for, perfect for any pup that doesn't want to be left at home, wants to learn new tricks, needs some or a lot of exercise, needs socialization with other dogs, needs some mind stimulation and much more. About: Experienced in overnight and back-and-forth pet sitting. Can care for puppies to seniors at any hour of the day and night. I am not grossed out by any mess your pet may make and will keep the space clean. Normally work 7-noon 3 days a week. My job is very flexible and could change to suite you and your pets needs! I am very quick with responding if you would need me last minute. My pets that I've had in my home get fed at the same time every day. They are also allowed to go out when they want and get their paws cleaned when they come in. Water is always available to them. My own two dogs are crate trained, and I use crates or safe indoor spaces as needed to ensure a calm and secure environment for every pet in my care. About: I helped care for family dogs and cats since I was about five years old, feeding, giving water, walking and cleaning up after them until I was 18. I have boarded two dogs for a friend and provided drop-in visits for a former neighbor for about a year after that and worked at a pet hotel from '17-'19 in which time I got a dog training certification. I have some experience taking care of mice and hamsters and would like to learn how to care for rats and snakes. I'm currently looking for part-time work and would be more than happy to provide the love and care that your fur babies require in your absence. I'm also a newer driver and could really use the experience. Afternoons and evenings work best but please don't be shy about asking for morning services. Depending on the service and your pet's needs, I will spend as much time as they need whether it be a brief or long walk, cuddling on the couch, etc. I will be working part-time starting April 14, 2024. I will have a schedule ready sometime afterwards. Hopefully it will be in the next few weeks. I will keep your pet indoors for the most part, depending on the pet. I prefer to keep dogs on a leash when they go out for walks and to potty unless there is a fenced in yard.
