About: Hi! My name is Joan. I am recently retired and live on a farm. I have had dogs most of my life and have felt the passion to start dog sitting after losing our 15 yr old beloved dog fairly recently. I sure miss having furry four legged ones around to share my love for dogs, and want to be able to love on yours as I would my own. Having used Rover many times in the past for our own dog over the years, I know how very important it is to find someone you know you can trust to love & care for your pup, that perfect place that you won’t have to worry about them while you hoomans are away, that would be Me! I live on a farm with lots of acreage for running and playing. I also have experience with administering medications if needed. I want to make a worry free home away from home experience for your best friend(s) while mom & dad are away. With being retired, and pretty much a homebody, I will make sure that I will be home at all times to care for your pup. Potty breaks and play time will be frequent, with living on a farm we will be sure and have plenty of walking and running space for your pup. I live on a tucked off the road farm with plenty of acreage to run and play. Our farm is not a working farm, meaning we have no farm animals on the property. I have never crated any of my dogs, therefore I would not be crating yours unless of course you ask me to and provide the crate.

About: I used to hate cats when I was a kid until I got my first cat, Sombra. She was found on the side of the road as a kitten by a friend and asked if my mother and I could take her in. I was hesitant at first, but decided to give her a chance. 9 years later, and I love her to death, despite her feisty attitude. Most recently,2 years ago, I found 2 more black kittens in an abandoned building, a brother and sister. We took them in with the intention of fostering them until they were old enough to adopt out, but unfortunately, since black cats aren't popular, no one wanted them. I decided to keep them for myself, and now Milan and Marcille are happily living together, with Sombra. (all of my cats are indoor cats)

About: Familiar with Shih Tzu & other small dog/cat care, follows directions easily, dependable, punctual, assertive, effective, kind, playful, & can build trust with animals quickly! I take care of my family Shih Tzu daily and have cared for our late Domestic Longhair cat; as well as my sister’s Australian Labradoodle, her long-haired kitty, and my Aunt’s 3 Italian Greyhounds on occasion. I’ve also had experience watching a Westie and other larger Labradoodles. Pet care comes naturally and second-nature as I’ve had pets in my home all my life. From dogs, cats, fish, frogs, hermit crabs, etc. I’ve learned how to look after plenty of life through the years.

About: I had only dogs for many many years and absolutely love dogs! I then moved abroad for the past 12 years and due to living in a building which allowed no dogs I decided instead to invest in a kitten.. Here we are, years later and I've become rather cat crazy! We have 4, 3 of which we brought with us all the way from the UK to love with us here in Danville. I love how each cat carries their own personality, likes, dislikes and quirks and I have learned to be patient a great deal thanks to these little flurries of fur. I also once owned rabbits, chickens, peacocks, fish, a squirrel named "Giblet" and spent time around cows and pigs as well. Animals give us warmth and love, be it a cozy chihuahua or a frowning lizard and I love them all! I am new here in town and wish to establish myself as a carer and guardian of your pets when you need a hand. I genuinely will love and cherish them in the short time I might spend with them.. Their safety, happiness and calmness are important to me and I will give all my devotion to them while in my care or in your home. I hope to be here for you anytime you need.! We have just moved here from the UK in mid 2024. Our 4 cats are the biggest part of our lives and as I work from home I am so attached to them! That freedom can also allow me to care for your pet as well and love them as if they were my own while you are away! For now I have decided to offer myself up to visit your home when you wish to feed, walk and play with your pets as well as those necessary litter box details if you have cats.. I am honest and dependable with a deep love for animals and for being kind and gentle. I won't just feed them and leave.. Whether you have dogs, cats or any other animal, I will spend some time with them, make sure they feel safe and warm and be your eyes and ears during your absence. About: Hi! My name is Joan. I am recently retired and live on a farm. I have had dogs most of my life and have felt the passion to start dog sitting after losing our 15 yr old beloved dog fairly recently. I sure miss having furry four legged ones around to share my love for dogs, and want to be able to love on yours as I would my own. Having used Rover many times in the past for our own dog over the years, I know how very important it is to find someone you know you can trust to love & care for your pup, that perfect place that you won’t have to worry about them while you hoomans are away, that would be Me! I live on a farm with lots of acreage for running and playing. I also have experience with administering medications if needed. I want to make a worry free home away from home experience for your best friend(s) while mom & dad are away. With being retired, and pretty much a homebody, I will make sure that I will be home at all times to care for your pup. Potty breaks and play time will be frequent, with living on a farm we will be sure and have plenty of walking and running space for your pup. I live on a tucked off the road farm with plenty of acreage to run and play. Our farm is not a working farm, meaning we have no farm animals on the property. I have never crated any of my dogs, therefore I would not be crating yours unless of course you ask me to and provide the crate.

About: I've grown up with multiple dogs at a time, never had a period of time where I was not around dogs. I've raised them from birth to passing away. I love playing with them, caring for them, being there for them and providing love to them. I love going for walks in the parks, around development, etc. Whatever the pup/dog likes to do is fine with me, I have a lot of history with them so I'd be more than happy to provide for any dog! I do have a lot of references just not on rover, they can be provided upon speaking/meeting! I am very accommodating and can stick to your pets schedule as close as possible to yours! I can work my schedule around whatever is needed for care. For example, pets needing strict medicine schedule. I do work during the day but am available with notice! I can provide drop in visits, pet taxi to groomers or vets, dog parks, etc. Cages would need to be provided especially for multiple pets while I am out of the home. Pets have full range of the home. We have gates for the stairs at top and bottom!

He adapted to her 3 little ones (and they to him) such that they could lounge in proximity on the deck out back. Jen will most certainly be a go-to sitter for us in the future.
