I was especially worried about our dogs as we've taken them with us whenever we've gone on a trip and they wouldn't be able to go with us this time. About: I’ve been around dogs and animals in general since a young age, with my grandpa running a small farm. I’ve grown up around breeds like German Shepherds, and have always taken care of friends’ dogs while they were in vacation. I learned a lot from my fiancé, who ran a successful dog walking business in New York City Give yourself peace of mind, your dog is in safe, loving, caring hands. I’m currently working from home with a special schedule which I take advantage of as it frees up a lot of time during the day. Pet care fits into it quite easily, as I have a daily routine I follow which includes dog walks, time with the dogs outside and of course feedings (and tending medicine when needed). I have a home situated on a quiet, secluded private lot that backs up onto a river with several trails within a short walking distance. The yard is secluded, well shaded and has ample space. I take care to be active with the dogs, so I usually toss frisbees or play fetch several times a day to keep them content. I walk my dogs twice around the neighborhood. Besides home, I have a number of dog-friendly trails and parks both in East Stroudsburg and nearby where I bring the dogs for some quality time outside. This includes hiking on trails and in the mountains, bringing the dogs to rivers or lakes, I mix it up each week depending on the weather conditions. Any time I go on an outdoor adventure, I make sure I have the owner’s consent. Their dogs will always be hydrated and have a snack. I only ask that if your dog has specific dietary needs or is taking medication, that you provide me with the necessary information and schedule. I have two modes of transport for dogs, both of which offer plenty of space, safety and comfort for the dogs while en route.

I’m a firm believer in letting dogs experience the world around them through smell, and allow them to sniff to their nose’s content on walks. If your dog is prone to pulling, please have a suitable harness available for use. (I highly recommend PetSafe EasyWalk harnesses.) NO prong, choke, or shock collars! I look forward to meeting you and your pup!! I work from home and my hours are flexible, so I am able to arrange my work schedule around the needs of you and your dog(s)! I always ensure that your dog’s collar/harness and leash are secure so they won’t slip out on a walk. I bring poop bags on every walk, and a water thermos and bowl on longer walks. Food, potty breaks, and medicine administration can all be given at drop-ins. I have experience giving oral medications, eye drops, injections, and sub-q IV drips to my own dogs, and can do so for yours as well with as much care and love as if they’re my own.
About: I have many years of experience with animals. As a teenager I worked at a vet for about a year were I helped clean kennels, take dogs out for walks as well as feed and clean up after them. About: I've volunteered at AWSOM Animal Shelter walking dogs & caring for cats. I've walked & taken care of dogs for friends and neighbors. Personally, I have 3 cats and a dog! I have a flexible schedule. I am available days & nights as well as on short notice. My Rover calendar is updated frequently, so booking availability is accurate! I have experience taking care of puppies and dogs that require close supervision. I can stay with pets when necessary, or drop by for visits & care throughout the day depending on your and your pet's needs.

Very comfortable around all size dogs, already work full time so schedule is flexible. The animals that I own are, two female cats, two-dogs, a pit mix and a schnauzer, bearded dragon, leopard gecko, crested gecko, hamster and pet rat. Has knowledge of animal behavior and nutrition and understands diet restrictions and feeding schedules. I would like to share my knowledge in my spare time and gain more experience in animal care. Also with my knowledge of exotic animals. As I said I do work full time and schedule is flexible and always shifting, so I can do early mornings. Or late afternoon. 🙂 I am working full time. willing and able to work around my schedule. mornings after work and breaks as well. I can handle all sizes of pets. I have a full room just for my animals. i have two cats, two guinea pigs. 4 reptiles and a fish. I am very comfortable about any size dog.

“For the first time in a long time, my family and I took a vacation out of the country. I was especially worried about our dogs as we've taken them with us whenever we've gone on a trip and they wouldn't be able to go with us this time. I found Marleny and Luis as a first time Rover user and was relieved that they were able to care for our two dogs while away. We had a meet and greet, and a few day visits leading up to the trip and all went well. The dogs were with them for 8 days and my heart was at peace knowing they were being cared for in their home. I sent rationed food, treats, beds and instructions for eye drops and daily supplements. Marleny did not hesitate and accommodated all my requests.
