One of the biggest changes I noticed after Kaipos' stay was that he now returns the ball to me when we play fetch. He would never do that before. Keep away was his favorite game. Took him to dog park and I was throwing the ball for him for nearly an hour. He bought it back every time, dropped it and waited for me to pick it up and throw it again. That was a nice change and I want to thank Scott for fixing that. I had fun.”

Our dog (Benny) was just diagnosed as being hypothyroid and was dealing with many different associated conditions that required medicines and a lot of extra care. This was why we decided to try Rover rather than just boarding him at a kennel. Johanny was available at late notice and was amazing with Benny. We received pictures each day and she had no trouble administering all the medications. He was healthy when we returned and we are incredibly grateful for the care that she provided. Tucker has skin allergies, so I’m experienced with special care routines, and Roman has focal seizures and requires medication every 12 hours, which has made me very comfortable administering meds and staying attentive to health changes. I grew up with a Miniature Schnauzer, Snuggles (14 wonderful years), and our cat, Cuddles (18 years), so caring for animals has truly been a lifelong part of who I am. I want this to be my full time job as much as possible. I have my internship (animal care at a local AZA certified zoo) Monday and Friday, but am otherwise free. I have a two story duplex with a fenced in yard in a quiet and safe neighborhood. I love being outdoors and can even offer hikes after getting to know your dogs a little more. I thrive on attention to detail and can even do medication administration and body examinations.
About: I am an experienced dog groomer who worked at Petline Grooming for 1.5 years. I have experience with puppies all the way up to senior dogs of all breeds and sizes of all temperaments/behaviors. I have lived with 3 dogs throughout my entire life. Since I was old enough to be independent, I was helping to feed and take out my dogs. More than that I love to make sure my dogs are properly enriched by taking them on daily walks and investing in new toys for them. I am an animal lover who would love to take care of your pets! I have lots of availability and plan on doing pet care full-time for the time being. I am available most weekdays and some weekends. I have access to a partially fenced in yard and multiple leashes and crates. At my house, I currently have a friendly dog who will keep your dog company. About: I currently work at a veterinary clinic. I have been around all kinds of animals all my life. Currently I have a dog (Jaxson), 4 cats (Ozcar, Jazabel, Joey, and Dustin), a bearded dragon (Dreki), and a horse (Andy). I have been riding horses for most of my life. I have volunteered and worked for many different animal groups. I have also founded a nonprofit animal rescue. I am off every Sunday and alternating Saturdays. I am available fir drop ins most evenings any time after 6pm and Wednesdays any time after 3pm. I will provide a loving and patient environment for your pet. My years of experience have shown me the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to animals, so I can handle anything. I can also offer assistance in training, medicating, and grooming.

One of the biggest changes I noticed after Kaipos' stay was that he now returns the ball to me when we play fetch. He would never do that before. Keep away was his favorite game. Took him to dog park and I was throwing the ball for him for nearly an hour. He bought it back every time, dropped it and waited for me to pick it up and throw it again. That was a nice change and I want to thank Scott for fixing that. I had fun.”

“This was the first time that we have used rover to board our dog while on vacation, and we were incredibly pleased with the care provided to him by Johanny. Our dog (Benny) was just diagnosed as being hypothyroid and was dealing with many different associated conditions that required medicines and a lot of extra care. This was why we decided to try Rover rather than just boarding him at a kennel. Johanny was available at late notice and was amazing with Benny. We received pictures each day and she had no trouble administering all the medications. He was healthy when we returned and we are incredibly grateful for the care that she provided.
