About: I grew up with dogs and cats as pets, so have lifelong experience caring for animals. My family owned a small farm for a period of time, so I also gained experience with horses in addition to cats and dogs. We owned a German Shepard and a cockapoo, so I do have direct experience with both smaller and larger dogs. “Parcha stayed overnight at Dawn’s for two days. Dawn sent me progress reports with plenty of pictures. I could tell that Parcha was enjoying her stay. Dawn and her family played and interacted with Parcha. Her two boys played with her, gave her hugs and kisses. There were two other dogs that Parcha was able to socialize with as well. She also was able to run and exercise in the yard. Parcha came home and fell fast asleep. She was on doggie vacation with Dawn. Two fun filled days. I am very pleased with the service Dawn provided. About: Hi! I'm a pre-vet student at UVM with a lifelong passion for animals and hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes. Back home, I help care for my family's pack of four pups — a sweet Yorkie and three energetic Dachshunds (ages 13 to just 7 months). I've also raised cats and hope to one day have a Golden Retriever and Australian Shepherd of my own! Whether your dog needs a midday walk, weekend company, or just some extra love while you're away, I bring patience, enthusiasm, and a future-vet’s dedication to every visit. I’m currently a full time student, but I have pretty much all of the day available on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and full availability on the weekends! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. At home, I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time, and I’m experienced with using kennels when needed — especially for puppies who benefit from structure. I always make sure pets get plenty of exercise, attention, and love, including regular walks and playtime. I’m also confident transporting pets in the car, making sure they’re secure and calm. I treat every animal like my own, and I’m committed to creating a stress-free, loving environment wherever they are.
