About: I've always had dogs and cats in our home growing up, and I have more than 30 years of pet-care experience, from puppies and kittens to elder-pet care. I have 2 cats and 1 dog that live in our house. Zoey is my dog, Archie and Theo are 2 orange cats and are brothers. I have more than enough rooms if your pet needs their own space, I can even give them their own room if necessary. About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and have had experience owning other pets such as geckos, cats, and snakes. I’ve been a pet sitter for a little over two years. My true passion for pet sitting comes from my desire to be accompanied by them, dogs specifically. I work with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and personalities. Dogs of all backgrounds tend to gravitate towards me and I have never had any negative interactions. While studying for my undergrad, I was actually in charge of all the live animal specimens present on the University grounds. Feeding, exercise, and handling/care were done daily, which can explain my comfortability and familiarity with pet care. I currently am home as I finish my masters degree online so my daily schedule is fairly free. I workout and do part-time contract work when I am not doing schoolwork. I also provide several toys and chew toys that are usually left out for them to play with (unless requested not to). Meals are kept on schedule and any mediation or vitamins are administered on-time. I want to ensure that your pet has a safe and relaxing time during their stay, I will provide a separate room for your animal if needed or requested, with their own bedding and play-area. I then moved abroad for the past 12 years and due to living in a building which allowed no dogs I decided instead to invest in a kitten.. Here we are, years later and I've become rather cat crazy! We have 4, 3 of which we brought with us all the way from the UK to love with us here in Danville. I love how each cat carries their own personality, likes, dislikes and quirks and I have learned to be patient a great deal thanks to these little flurries of fur. “Amanda was just what we were looking for! Our fur baby is a11 year old Golden Retriever with some heath issues. We really wanted to find a caring person with children( she loves kids) we knew this would cheer her up,and we were right! As a matter of fact when we picked her up it was almost like she wanted to stay! She was depressed for the first day we brought her home, which to us it was a good sign that she had a good time! About: I have owned and cared for pets since childhood. My daughter lives with me and has a love and passion for animals as well, in particular dogs and cats!! My job allows me to work from home regularly throughout the day so I am capable of giving your pet 100% of the attention, care and love it deserves. My home is currently a pet-free space. This makes it the perfect fit to give your pet 100% of the care and love it deserves while you can’t be there.
“I am so pleased to have found Heather to watch my two pups! They absolutely loved her, her husband, home and their time there. I loved that my pups got to sleep in bed with them, as they do with me. She sent me photos and updates and she did great handling all their medications and health issues. I would absolutely recommend! My dogs were happy when I returned but almost seemed sad to leave!
