We scheduled a meet snd greet with Amy and Patrick, Timmy and ourselves. We immediately felt that Timmy would be in good hands and Amy and Patrick disappoint. We received pictures and videos daily of Timmy on walks, playing and at bedtime. They followed our directions for feeding and treats to the letter! About: I have taken care of my own pets and others for over 25 years. Our current house includes 3 dogs and 2 cats. I have a lab, golden and corgi. I also welcome foster animals into our home when i can. I am currently a stay at home mom so I have flexibility to visit multiple times a day or host in my own home. We have an upstairs and downstairs so there is room for a crate if your pet feels more relaxed in there own space. I do also have a large crate unused if you can’t bring your own! I have the ability and practice of giving dogs medications if needed so anything your dog may need while staying with me will be no problem at all! About: I’ve had a heart for animals since I was young, and have owned both cats and dogs - ranging from low-energy Pugs to high-energy Boxers - for the majority of my life. My pet care experience mostly includes sitting for friends and family members, and caring for my own dog, a 6-year old Mini Poodle mix. I’ve taken care of senior animals with a variety of health conditions, and have no problem providing medications from pills to eye drops. I also have some experience working with reactive dogs, as my dog deals with reactivity issues. Through a 6-session training course we completed with a professional trainer in the summer of 2025, I’ve learned techniques to improve behavior on walks, as well as a long list of enrichment activities to help your high-energy pups burn energy throughout the day. The best days for me to care for your pet in Lancaster or York are Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends. If requested, I may be able to accommodate services in Lancaster on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. I thrive on routines and like to keep somewhat of a normal routine for my dog. This includes feedings, giving medications, multiple walks, and enrichment activities (in or outside, depending on weather). My dog has anxiety and spring/summer are the most difficult for her, so I keep on music or background sounds while in the house, and make sure she is always on a leash when outside. I am willing and open to following any routines you have for your pet, however, I am not comfortable with electric fences or shock collars. I always have my phone easily accessible and am a quick communicator, so I can provide pictures, texts, or calls as requested if you’d like to check up on your fur baby.
