I have experience with pets that require daily medication as well. About: While I am currently unemployed and staying at my parents home, our family dog (Havanese) of 17 years recently passed away in February 2026. Now that my mother is retiring this summer, we wish to fill the empty home, and our combined newly gained free time, with some furry friends! I have experience looking after pets of friends and family while they're out of the house for the past 5 years. I have a great deal of patience in training and caring for animals. I'm currently available on weekends, with Fridays most preferred. I work fulltime Monday through Thursday so at the moment those days are going to remain unavailable. I believe respect for animals, owners, and their environment to be super important. I adhere to any rules and guidelines when entering a client's home and I work to provide my client's pet with my utmost attention and full energy. About: I am a huge animal lover and have had a dog or other pet in my life since I was born. I volunteered at the Animal Rescue League in early 2012. About: I have experience in puppy obedience training and leash training, oral medication administration, experience handling dogs of all ages and sizes, especially with caring for stubborn dogs. Also I am very familiar with taking care of pups with anxiety or different fears. I am a full time student at Boston University, but have long breaks throughout my day where I could care for nearby pets in need of attention or walks, meaning lunchtime check ins or walks work particularly well with my schedule. I am happy to follow any preferences you have for pet care, including crating your dog (I have extensive experience crate training an unruly giant schnauzer puppy), leash preferences, and feeding schedules. I typically bring water bowls and extra water for my dogs on walks to keep them feeling their best and treats to keep them engaged (treat type depending on what your dog typically eats).

About: I would like to own my own pup, but my lifestyle doesn't allow me to give it the attention it needs. Dog sitting is the perfect balance between allowing me to care for a pup when I'm available and not having to worry about the responsibility when I'm traveling.
