“Marie and her lovely family are a God send. My husband and I wanted to go away for Valentine's day weekend to get some alone time and we have never been away from our Sheldon, who is a clumsy, gentle giant and lovable doberman pinscher puppy (1yr and 2months and 80lbs lol). My husband was thinking of boarding him at a kennel and I could not stand the thought of him being locked up in a cold pen like a wild caged animal. Honest to goodness (Rover did not pay me) I told my husband about this commercial I saw about people who offer dog services- Rover.com. My husband was skeptical and well, I thought it would be better than a cold pen, where he would pee and poop in his area and let out for so long per day. The site was easy to use and i knew what type of person i was looking for. I wanted my baby to be in a home where he would be loved as their own, warm, and in constant contact with humans (if you dont know anything about Dobermans, they are called velcro dogs because they are attached at your hip and have to be where ever you go). I looked and read Marie's profile and I just knew she was the ONE! Her family was awesome, they loved Sheldon and she gave us frequent updates of their adventures, runs, and how he he'd wind down at night and even included lots of pictures! We could tell he was having the time of his life! Marie and her family put our minds at ease knowing we left him in good hands. We could not be more grateful to have found them. Sheldon came home with a second family. We highly, HIGHLY recommend them! If they are in your area, she is the highest qualified dog sitter and we will be using her again in the future for Sheldon.”

They took the time, at a very busy time of year, to meet us on the Sunday before at a local park and introduced their beautiful Lab Chase to us. Seeing how well they handled Chase and how understanding they were of Clementine’s intimidation, really eased our minds of my small dog being around a bigger dog and it showed how compassionate these two fun dog loving people are towards their guest dogs and owners. Prior to Clem's stay, they asked all the right questions about how to care for her and what they could do to help with any anxiety, when to feed her how much, etc., We felt very comfortable with them and liked both of them very much! My senior cat requires daily medication and extra monitoring due to his diabetes, and Jess did a fantastic job making sure he was eating well, taking his medication, and using the litter box normally. She also made sure my three one-year-old babies were well cared for and gave them plenty of extra playtime to help burn off all that kitten energy. Jess was excellent with communication and sent daily updates and photos of the babies. I was able to fully relax and enjoy my vacation knowing they were in such good hands. About: I have had animals since I was a little girl. From mice, guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs and cats- I’ve taken care of them all! Last year I took in my mom’s dog since she moved and couldn’t take her along, so technically this is my first time owning a dog (on my own), but there has always been either a dog or a cat in my home growing up, so I have dealt with it all- accidents, anxiousness, and everything in between. I have also been able to teach my dog some new basic tricks, despite her being 13! I am very patient, determined, and caring. I currently work full time, 2nd shift 3p-11:30pm, so I am available M-F up until 2pm when I need to start getting ready for work. I wake up early and take my dog out right away, then again in about 3ish hours, and then right before I leave for work to ensure that I don’t come home to an accident, and then she potties and eats dinner when I get home. On the weekends, I’m home probably 90% of the time, so we go to the museum, dog park, and for the most part, she runs all of my errands with me! Despite me living in an apartment, I do still have a yard in the front and the back of the building, so if my dog (or yours) isn’t feeling up for a walk (or the weather isn’t great) there is still grass for them to go to the bathroom. I do not mind about my dog being on my furniture- it’s her house too! That is how it would be for your pet too! I also have a small balcony, where me and her sit and hang out for some fresh air.

About: I started back in 2010 with an adopted Cat who made such an amazing first “pet” that became family! After meeting my now husband, we adopted 2 beagle brothers who were 1.5 years old! Unfortunately one became very sick but we still have his brother who will be 12 this November! He loves car rides, treats, and walks around our neighborhood! I’m currently a stay at home mom which gives me plenty of time to spend with your furry family member! I teach my 4 year old son preschool and enjoy a lot of outside time to get our energy out! I have a 4.5’ aluminum fenced in backyard with a 2 foot puppy fencing along the whole interior to ensure the utmost safety and keep your mind at ease. I have a very safe neighborhood with sidewalks to walk your pet. The neighborhood is also adjacent to our district school with a 2 mile walking path for all community members to use! I use this often to give both our dog and my children the ability to release energy in a safe space!

About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve been around all kinds of animals my whole life, from chickens, hamsters to cats, dogs, and even horses. I’ve helped care for cats and dogs for family and friends in the past, providing feeding, playtime, companionship, and general care. I genuinely love spending time with animals! About: My family has had a dog my entire life, but I got MY first dog when I was 12 years old. He was my best friend and his name was Tucker. He was an Australian Shepherd and we spent most of our time together. I taught him how to sit and shake his paw...we even mastered a high five. Tucker and I went through life together. He was my copilot, my swimming buddy, my listening ear and the best pillow to lay my head on. In his late years, Tucker's vision and hearing were mostly gone, but he could always find me with his nose! Near the end of his life Tucker lost the connections from his brain to his back legs. I had to carry him outside to use the bathroom and that was when I knew it was time to let him go. Tucker passed away in my arms in October of 2021. My life was forever changed by my furry best friend. He was lucky to have a furry friend for the last 5 months of his life. We adopted an American Staffordshire Terrier in July of 2021 and he has brought so much joy to our home and has helped my kids with the passing of Tucker. Rumble is our puppy and I have house trained him and he is very good with kids and other dogs. I am currently working from home so it gives me a lot of flexibility to let your pups out to play and to make sure they have a lot of free time throughout the day. My lap is always free for any pup that needs a seat and some back scratches! I have a very friendly dog that would love to have play time with your dog, but I also have a crate for my dog should they need some time apart. I have a large back yard and I have 30' leads for the dogs to run around on. I am willing to give treats if you wish and your pup is welcome to bring their favorite toys and a blanket from home to smell for comfort.

Pet care is a natural and consistent part of my daily and weekly routine. I plan my schedule around feeding times, hikes, play, and individualized attention to ensure each pet’s needs are met. With a flexible work schedule, I am able to provide in-home care 3 days a week uninterrupted and with a local home location, am able to check in on days in the office as well. Whether it’s daily check-ins, walks, or extended stays, I make sure every pet receives reliable, compassionate care as part of my regular routine—not as an afterthought. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible, whether in my home or in my client’s home, to help them feel comfortable and secure. I provide regular feeding, fresh water, walks or exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. I closely monitor behavior, appetite, and overall health, and I keep pet parents updated with photos and messages. My home is equipped with 2 outdoor security cameras as well as a fully fenced in yard. In a client’s home, I respect the space while ensuring pets receive consistent care, enrichment, and companionship. In my home, pets are given a calm, safe environment with supervision, structured routines, and positive reinforcement. With my veterinary technician experience and animal care and dog training certifications, I’m able to administer medications, support training, care for puppies, and provide gentle, attentive care for senior pets. My goal is always to keep pets happy, safe, and stress-free while their owners are away.
About: I love meeting new dogs and cats of all sizes! Learning what they like: toys, catch, walking, an loving is the joy of the experience. I have no issues with high energy, big dogs, or even pets that don't like new people. I want to make sure your animals are happy. Although dogs have always been my go to, who can't say no to a little Kitty? I am currently working from home some days of the week which allows for a more flexible schedule and will be able to work with you on the needs for your furry friend. Although my dog roams free inside the home, he is crate trained if needed and has a fenced yard outside. Flexibility in the needs that your fur baby has is what I am here for.
About: I have taken care of other friends dogs including senior dogs. I currently own a two year old black lab mix named Atlas. I love walking dogs and would love the opportunity to meet yours! During the school year, I am currently available 8:30-5 most days during the week. Boarding is also available in the evenings and on the weekends. Although I do not have a fenced in yard, there is plenty of space to walk in my neighborhood. I also have one dog who is friendly with other dogs. I am comfortable crating dogs when needed.
