Glenn intuitively knew (1) how to coax my shy, sweet Shiloh into eating her dinner & (2) he had to protect her dinner from my other pup, Moochie, who--as Glenn noted--is named for his larcenous, food-stealing ways! He even tried to train Moochie to stop his tendency to mark his territory, which I've given up doing, resorting to a diaper most of the time at home. It was a crazy, fun, but calamity-ridden weekend for me, & my arrival times for both drop-off & pick-up were later than originally expected. Glenn was relaxed and patient despite my tardiness, so I'd actually have to say he took good care of all three of us!”

About: My husband and I are animal lovers in general and dog lovers in particular. We always worry when boarding our own dogs and, now that we've retired, we wanted to provide a "home like" boarding service for other dog lovers. We have 2 rooms dedicated for the dogs to roam free. Sofa for lounging and television or music available during their stay. Bright sunlight and large windows. We have a large kennel that is outside and the dogs are free to come and go through a doggie door in our kitchen. We have many years experience caring for dogs and our family currently includes 2 bichon Frise. They are both peaceful and friendly and love meeting new dog friends. We wanted to provide a reasonably priced animal boarding service close to home. We are located in Hunlock Creek, 25 minutes from Dallas or Wilkes-Barre, 15 minutes from Nanticoke. Drop off time is anytime from 9AM on and Pick up time is by noon or you must schedule another day. If special times are needed let us know. We will also board birds and small pets at a lower rate. Ask us. Please visit us to see our home ! We are retired and available most days full time - check the calendar. All boarders roam free during the day and sleep on floor or in bed you provide at night. Feedings and treats on daily schedule. Daily exercise in yard if good weather. Dogs roam our secured house freely. Will either be on leash or on zip run if in yard. If dogs need to be separated we have a room we use for that purpose. If your dog likes to sleep in kennel please bring with you or we will provide a kennel or cage (extra fee).

About: Safety first, my home has fences and gates to protect your love ones. If you work mid shift or over night and need somewhere for your four legged children to go while you work we have just the place for them. I love to play and cuddle with my dogs and would love the opportunity to have your love one stay with me in a loving home environment. “I have been looking for a quality dog sitter for several years and I finally found one. Natalie is a gem! I have a large, sweet, anxious dog and in the past she has come back from sitters a nervous wreck, sometimes taking a week or so to get back to normal (with diarrhea sometimes). I pick up my pooch this morning after a week away and she was her happy, calm self with normal poo! Looks like my dog had a great week. I live by Barclay mountain, south of Towanda and commute to the Sayre/Athens area for work, which allows me to check in on pets in a wide range. I'd be happy to swing by before and after work as well as on my lunch as long as your location allows! We have a large, unfenced lawn (one day planning to put in a fence for future farm animals) and a small pond on our large, wooded property. Our dog is boundary trained but we keep a long 50 foot lead for visitors! Dogs are welcome to snuggle up on the couch but generally expected to sleep in their crate or bed as bedrooms are off limits to our furry friends. When I come to you to care for your pets, it's important to me that I follow the usual routine that you've established with them!

We had to leave her behind for a family reunion/vacation and were devastated. She is like our baby. When we met Annie, Judy loved her and Annie was so sweet, soothing, calm and laid back. About: I have cared for the pets of family members and friends since I was a teenager, and truly love providing animals a safe, engaging environment to be their adorable selves! I promise to care for your pet like my own! As a swing shift employee, I only offer services on my days off, so you can be sure your pet will have my attention, time, and care during it’s stay! I have a large, unfenced yard on a quiet road to provide plenty of leashed walks throughout the day/evening. I have a very friendly, 40 pound hound dog to be your pet’s friend during the day! My dog, Bailey (as seen in my profile picture), is crated at night because it suits her best, however I will care for your pet whether you prefer them crated or free-range at night! I have an adorable tabby cat, Pippi, who may come out to greet your pet but typically prefers to stay by herself.

I work a standard weekday schedule from 7 AM to 4 PM, meaning my late afternoons and evenings are completely free after 4 PM for walks, drop-ins, and playtime. My weekends are fully open! I frequently spend my free time hiking, walking, and exploring trails in state parks and natural areas, so I’d love to take your dog along for some great exercise and outdoor adventures. Because my property features an open, unfenced yard, I never let dogs outside off-leash. Your pet will always be securely handled during bathroom breaks and walks. I focus on providing a safe, strictly supervised environment both indoors and outdoors to give you complete peace of mind while you are away.
