My husband and I wanted to go away for Valentine's day weekend to get some alone time and we have never been away from our Sheldon, who is a clumsy, gentle giant and lovable doberman pinscher puppy (1yr and 2months and 80lbs lol). My husband was thinking of boarding him at a kennel and I could not stand the thought of him being locked up in a cold pen like a wild caged animal. Honest to goodness (Rover did not pay me) I told my husband about this commercial I saw about people who offer dog services- Rover.com. My husband was skeptical and well, I thought it would be better than a cold pen, where he would pee and poop in his area and let out for so long per day. The site was easy to use and i knew what type of person i was looking for. I wanted my baby to be in a home where he would be loved as their own, warm, and in constant contact with humans (if you dont know anything about Dobermans, they are called velcro dogs because they are attached at your hip and have to be where ever you go). I looked and read Marie's profile and I just knew she was the ONE! Her family was awesome, they loved Sheldon and she gave us frequent updates of their adventures, runs, and how he he'd wind down at night and even included lots of pictures! We could tell he was having the time of his life! Marie and her family put our minds at ease knowing we left him in good hands. We could not be more grateful to have found them. Sheldon came home with a second family. We highly, HIGHLY recommend them! If they are in your area, she is the highest qualified dog sitter and we will be using her again in the future for Sheldon.”

About: I have two cats of my own. I’ve had them my whole life. The one is about to be 16 soon and he needs to wear a diaper whenever he’s roaming the house. Both of our cats were saved from the streets from a young age and we cared for them and still have them. I also go to college for animal studies and have kennel duties that require me to clean the cat room where theres like 10 cats in a night room. So, I know how to care for many cats at one time and for cats that need special treatment as well.

About: Had pets my whole life. I walk all the time and know where to take them and have an SUV with enough room to fit them in. Have 2 children who adore all animals. I have a full time job, Tuesday through Saturday, but I’m usually home around 2-4 pm. I’m available every evening and can stop to let them out during the day because of my job flexibility. I love both ends of the spectrum. I love being active and taking dogs for walk/runs. I also love relaxing and cuddling with them and getting to know what their preferences. Will follow all strict diet rules and keep a very clean house to avoid unwanted eating restrictions.

I learned the value of money by walking my Aunt's shitzu until I started high school. I naturally had an unspeakable connection with animals my whole life. I couldn't ever imagine my life without them. As of right now, our home is being ran by 4 dogs: Coach, Stella, Winnie, and Sage. And 2 cats: Sunny and Ash. Our backyard is big and fenced in. We let them out for an hour or so to get playtime and exercise in. Taking them for walks is not a good idea because Winnie can be reactive. We crate all of our dogs. They eat separately in their crates. Feeding instructions will be left in our refrigerator so they get their adequate amount. They also have slow feeding bowls.

About: I have years of experience. i have had animals all my life and have taken care of all different kinds - turtles, sugar gliders, rabbits, ferrets, lizards, cats and dogs. i have had to take care of senior dogs, and of dogs that needed medications everyday for either seizures or for pain due to being hit by a car. I look out more for the animal than i do for myself it seems. I work from home, i can play or arrange services M-W til 3p, Th and Fri all day long, and the Weekends before 7a and after 3p they can be all mine. My home is not fenced in, however my dog is trained and comes when called and doesn't need a leash. If Dogs are coming to my home; they will require a leash and harness. Customers will advise on how animals needs to be serviced in there home.

If your animals are staying in our home, they’ll have access to a spacious yard where dogs can play and run freely. We also have a small dog and a cat who are well-socialized and have done well with other animals during previous stays. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. I’ve trained my herding dogs to be trusted off leash on trails. I’ve helped my parents with training their two herding dogs to leave it, come, off, down and fetch. I advocate for whatever dogs I’m looking after or walking to make sure they are as comfortable as they can be. Your dog will be treated as if they were my own. We like to start and end every day with potty breaks along with atleast two walks per day. We allow your children to sit and sleep wherever they like. I am currently working full-time (about 15 minutes away from home), but my boyfriend (also a Rover sitter) works from home and can do daily potty breaks if needed.

So If needed I would stop by your house before and then directly after- obviously unless I’m staying there for the night, then I’ll get to care for your pet all night! I know of many animal(dog) parks in the area near my house, but love to take animals on walks if applicable! I am also willing to help bathe them even if that means taking them to a animal bath at pet store and such! Since I work a set schedule Monday through Friday, food and potty breaks will be at regular times and consistent times throughout the week. About: I have a strong passion for the love of animals. I have 5 dogs and 2 cats. My fur kids are my life and I will take such wonderful care of your fur kids in your absence. I can interact with any size or breed of dogs. I have 1 pound to 90 pound dogs at home. I also have experience with puppies to our beloved seniors. I have a faculty at my home where your dogs will not be in contact with my fur kids nor other dogs staying at my facility. I live on site and they will enjoy the comforts of a friendly home like setting. I have 25 acres that I would walk your pets on. I feel keeping them safe from other dogs that they could encounter walking in the neighborhood. I would keep them on a leash and just show them the love they deserve I have my time dedicated to taking care of your pets and mine!! My passion is taking care of animals big and small so rest assured your pet will be safe with me. I will come to your home and walk, play, snuggle your pet or pets. We can discuss your pets needs and I will be sure to accommodate you.
