About: I’ve grown up with pets and have experience with special needs animals, seniors and kittens/puppies. I can administer medicine and am very cognizant of a pet’s personality. For example I have a timid cat, a menace cat and a love bug cat. My Siberian husky is more cat than dog too. I can do drop ins or board dogs in my home. I can also stop by for walks. For the board ins I prefer to take in only dogs because I don’t want to stress the kitty crew out, but I’d be available to come do drop ins for the cats. My yard isn’t completely fenced so I’d probably take the doggos to the park at apple grove and for walks around town. I have three friendly cats and my husky also loves dogs.

Glenn intuitively knew (1) how to coax my shy, sweet Shiloh into eating her dinner & (2) he had to protect her dinner from my other pup, Moochie, who--as Glenn noted--is named for his larcenous, food-stealing ways! He even tried to train Moochie to stop his tendency to mark his territory, which I've given up doing, resorting to a diaper most of the time at home. It was a crazy, fun, but calamity-ridden weekend for me, & my arrival times for both drop-off & pick-up were later than originally expected. Glenn was relaxed and patient despite my tardiness, so I'd actually have to say he took good care of all three of us!”

Isabella was gracious enough to come to our house, prior to our trip, to meet Kitty and allow her to hear her voice so she wouldn't be an entirely new person while we were away. The first drop in Kitty hid but Isabella hung out anyway and remembered that I mentioned Kitty liked her food bowl filled in a pyramid 😊 (which she sent me a picture of). About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I was the little kid that visited the neighbors just to see their dogs. I have dog sat on many occasions. I am very detail oriented and love abiding by schedules. I do not mind the size of the dog either. The more dogs you have the better. I will gladly meet the dog(s) beforehand to see if they are comfortable with me. Other pets are also welcome too! The most animals I have watched at one time was three dogs and one cat. I am not opposed to light cleaning for the animals when necessary. Any routines you have for feeding or walking will always be followed. If you have any questions please ask me. About: Having been around animals my entire life, I recognize that every pet has their own special personality. Sometimes, beautiful personalities require more attention, love, or patience than others. Every pet I have owned has been rescued in some form or another, whether from a shelter or right off of the street, and each one has brought their own challenges, but also their own beautiful ways of showing love. I have no problem with jumpy, hyper, or "mouthy" pets, or any other behaviors that might be deemed "problematic". My life with all sorts of animals has allowed me to gain valuable skills, including being comfortable around pets of all sizes and shapes, handling "pushy" behaviors, and caring for senior pets with specific health issues. About: As recent empty nesters (we lost our senior pup Charlie🐾 in 2024 to old age) we look forward to providing a loving and calm home for your pup to land while you are away. My husband and I work freelance in advertising and I am also a part-time librarian. We have started pet sitting to add back some joy to our quieter days. We enjoy a good couch potato for company while we send emails, but we also would love a companion for our daily walks on our quiet dirt road! We have cozy beds waiting in every room, including the premo spots- in front of the fireplace and access to all the people-couches - so your pup will always be comfortable as they inevitably follow us around the house in your absence. We have experience with managing modified diets as well as administering oral medications, please feel free to share any special needs or rituals your pet may have. Our WFH lifestyle means that we can accommodate any needs your pet may have. If your dog has a specific midday potty break followed by couch time, we can make it happen. Does your dog need a song sung before they will eat their breakfast? No problem. Can they only lay down for bed with a specific plushy and their blanket freshly folded? We've been there. Please let us know about your friend's quirks so that we can do our best to fill in for you while you're away. We have a spacious clean house that your pet will have access to with a variety of dog beds and toys for their stay. Please feel free to provide a crate if your dog prefers, we have room! If sitting in your home we will be mindful of house rules and make sure to maintain consistency for your pet so they feel secure while you're away.

I have a Mini Australian Shepard, named Calypso, who is a one year old anxiety fluff ball, who I’ve been taking on walks since she was a tiny puppy. I also have a high anxiety and post traumatic dog names Fae Belle, who has trusted me to walk her through the loud streets of our hometown. I would love to meet your wonderful pets, so they are comfortable with a new person walking them. I’m looking for summer jobs before I go off to college where I will be working with animals. However, until then I’m so exited to meet everyone. I’m currently trying to get everyone situated before I go off to college…so I am mostly free and the end on June through the middle of August. I would love to see if I can work around my schedule to accommodate walking before that time and I can do most to any day of the week. I take my dogs for walks or at least out to play at least once a day, so I’m comfortable doing either of those. We have a fenced in yard where they can roam around as well. I also feed them and give them extra snuggles when they need it.

A little history: I grew up with a miniature schnauzer (Zoie) whom towards the end of her life, needed constant supervision and was administered medicine 3x/ day, grooming/washing daily. I was always there to comfort her until the end of her life and spoiled her beyond belief. Myself and my family provided care to my mini schnauzer for over 12 years. As a child, I never had a dog sitter to send updates, pictures/videos for my sweet Zoie when my family would travel, so I strongly understand the importance of quick and reliable communication/sending updates while you’re away to ease your anxiety. About: I’ve grown up with pets and have experience with special needs animals, seniors and kittens/puppies. I can administer medicine and am very cognizant of a pet’s personality. For example I have a timid cat, a menace cat and a love bug cat. My Siberian husky is more cat than dog too. I can do drop ins or board dogs in my home. I can also stop by for walks. For the board ins I prefer to take in only dogs because I don’t want to stress the kitty crew out, but I’d be available to come do drop ins for the cats. My yard isn’t completely fenced so I’d probably take the doggos to the park at apple grove and for walks around town. I have three friendly cats and my husky also loves dogs.

About: I've grown up with no less than 2 dogs at a time. Now I have 3 of my own and I am looking to open my home and offer my services since I am home full time!! We are always outside playing, going for walks and experiencing nature!! I would love to have the opportunity to care for other peoples animals!!
