“Monica was an awesome sitter for my mahina. She worked with my last minute booking, and was flexible when I needed an extension. I adored the pictures she sent us while I was away. I whole heartedly recommend Ms. Monica as a 5 star sitter.”

“Christine and family took great care of Coco and treated him as their own. It was really comforting to know that he was in a safe and loving home while I was traveling. I highly recommend Christine as she is a genuine and attentive hostess.”

“Amazing puppy sitters for my babies. I got multiple pictures every day. Plenty of walks. And my pups were so happy and content when I picked them up. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟”

“100/10 recommend Scott! For our first time leaving our dog, cooper, with a sitter, I could not have felt more at ease! He really treated him like one of his own pets and kept me updated daily!”

“Elaine was great with my pup Nugget. She sent daily pictures and updated me each evening about Nugget's day. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy my vacation knowing that my fur baby was in such good hands. Will definitely book Elaine again!”

“Laurie was great! Very nice lady. As soon as we met her I knew our pets would be safe with her.She updated me everyday, sent us videos or pictures. My furbabies had a great stay and didnt want to leave at all. They were having a great time with Laurie! Highly recommend her. Thanks Laurie!”

“Emily was amazing! She was so quick to respond from first inquiry and throughout our stay. She was also extremely flexible and transparent. She treated Lola like one of her own dogs and ensured that she fit into their family while she stayed with them. It was so reassuring to know that Lola was happy and loved the entire time we were away. We greatly appreciated Emily and Lola will definitely be back to visit her friends in the future!”

“Abner was great! We just moved to the state and had no clue where to start with a dog sitter, but we felt comfortable leaving our pup with Abner very quickly. Very kind, and he clearly loves dogs. Our girl is pretty nervous but he took the time to make sure she was comfortable and she ended up having a great time.”

“After having a bad experience in the past, we decided to try booking a sitter through Rover once again. This time around, I have nothing but great things to say about Maria and her family. From the minute we booked, she was always in touch with us and sent us pictures whenever asked. The house was well kept and there was a fenced back yard for the dogs to play in. She took care of him as if Nico was her own and that made the entire experience even more special for us. What more can you ask for? I would highly recommend using her for daycare & boarding services because you will not be disappointed. I give Maria a 5/5 for customer service and experience!”

“My pup came home happy and tired!!! Ana was incredibly communicative and responsive throughout the whole process and made sure to send me a picture of my girl every day!! I would absolutely bring her back and recommend Ana to anyone!!!”

“Jazmine (and her boyfriend Norman) took wonderful care of our 12-year-old black Lab, Judy, who is a cancer survivor and a bit particular—sweet, but needy and not a fan of other dogs. Jazmine cared for her in her home, made sure she had her morning medicine, and sent us daily updates with snuggle photos that made us feel completely at ease. Judy was clearly loved and beautifully looked after. Warm, professional, and trustworthy—highly recommend.”

I am a stay-at-home mom looking to make some extra income while doing something I love.. being with animals. If the dog is cat-friendly, I am open to drop-offs in my home any time. “This is my second time booking with Gwen. Each time was a phenomenal experience. Gwen was extremely thoughtful, provided frequent updates, and several pictures of my pup's vacation. Always appreciated, thank you!”

About: I’m very attentive and careful with dogs—I have a wonderfully silly pup of my own, so I understand how curious (and mischievous!) they can be. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities. I’ll make sure they’re well-fed, well-cared for, and having plenty of fun while they’re with me. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities, from a sassy medium-sized Terrier to an extremely large, goofy Malamute/Husky. I’ve also regularly cared for my cousin’s Yorkies and currently share my home with a very loved Coonhound/Terrier mix. Because of this, I’m comfortable adapting to different energy levels, temperaments, and routines. I truly believe dogs deserve patience, affection, and consistency. I go above and beyond to ensure every dog in my care feels loved, secure, and never overlooked—just like they would at home. I work from home during the following hours, which allows me to provide frequent attention, potty breaks, and supervision: Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM I work from home Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, allowing me to provide frequent potty breaks, meals, playtime, supervision, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day! I live in a spacious two-bedroom apartment designed to be a comfortable and safe environment for dogs. There are multiple cozy, high-quality dog beds throughout the space so pups always have options for relaxing and settling in. I also have a window perch overlooking Main Street, which dogs love for observing the world go by. My town is very walkable and dog-friendly, with several nearby businesses that welcome dogs—perfect for safe walks, enrichment, and (of course) quality people-watching. My own dog is extremely gentle and well-socialized—best described as a “cat in a dog’s body.” She is calm, respectful of other dogs’ space, and enjoys playful interactions when invited, making her a great companion for visiting pups.

About: I’ve always had a love for dogs, and before I moved to America we owned two amazing high energetic dogs. I loved taking them on walks and letting them explore the environment. I will ensure your dog is having as much fun as I will on his/her walk. I like getting exercise through walking so your dog will be getting plenty of it. Your dogs safety is also a top priority to me at all times and I will ensure that whatever activities we’ll be engaging in, they'll be kept safe. I work full time but still have plenty of time in the day to play and love your pup, my husband is also usually home as well and will generally help with care I have a fenced in backyard that I like taking the dogs outside to if they don’t need a long walk while they stay. We can also play.
About: I’ve been around dogs and animals in general since a young age, with my grandpa running a small farm. I’ve grown up around breeds like German Shepherds, and have always taken care of friends’ dogs while they were in vacation. I learned a lot from my fiancé, who ran a successful dog walking business in New York City Give yourself peace of mind, your dog is in safe, loving, caring hands. I’m currently working from home with a special schedule which I take advantage of as it frees up a lot of time during the day. Pet care fits into it quite easily, as I have a daily routine I follow which includes dog walks, time with the dogs outside and of course feedings (and tending medicine when needed). I have a home situated on a quiet, secluded private lot that backs up onto a river with several trails within a short walking distance. The yard is secluded, well shaded and has ample space. I take care to be active with the dogs, so I usually toss frisbees or play fetch several times a day to keep them content. I walk my dogs twice around the neighborhood. Besides home, I have a number of dog-friendly trails and parks both in East Stroudsburg and nearby where I bring the dogs for some quality time outside. This includes hiking on trails and in the mountains, bringing the dogs to rivers or lakes, I mix it up each week depending on the weather conditions. Any time I go on an outdoor adventure, I make sure I have the owner’s consent. Their dogs will always be hydrated and have a snack. I only ask that if your dog has specific dietary needs or is taking medication, that you provide me with the necessary information and schedule. I have two modes of transport for dogs, both of which offer plenty of space, safety and comfort for the dogs while en route.

“Autumn is extremely dependable and trustworthy. She always shows up when expected and does everything asked of her. She is always our first choice of pet sitter and we don’t worry when we know she will be there for our pets!! We went away for 8 days and she did two visits a day for our cat and sent twice a day pictures and we were so relieved to know she was there. We will always use Autumn when she’s available.”
“Jennifer was excellent. Prompt, attentive, and went above and beyond to care for my cats while I was away. She gave detailed information and sent me pics, which was awesome! Even though the cats were hiding!”

“Amy is wonderful! She is kind, understanding and accommodating. This was my first time using the app so I was a little nervous but Amy def made the experience easier! I would def recommend her!”

“Sam is wonderful! She took care of our kitties as if they were her own. They hide when strangers come but she had them out playing and being affectionate after just a few visits. She was prompt, followed all our instructions, sent tons of photos and updates every visit. We stopped worrying and our kitties we not stressed when we got home. Sam is genuine.”

About: I have had friends with cats my entire life and have helped take care of them. I used to consider myself a dog person but now I know that I love dogs and cats equally! Cats are independent and have their own boundaries, which I greatly respect. I know some people don't like cats for that reason. I've fed, snuggled, played with, and cleaned the litter boxes of kitties many a time. Hearing a cat purr is one of my joys in life. Whatever your cat needs, I will be happy to provide!
“Ashley is a wonderful pet sitter; both dependable and trustworthy. You can tell she loves animals, spending time during visits not just feeding them, but actually giving the pets love and attention. During my time away, she kept me up to date on the cats' status and sent a lot of photos of the cats being cared for.”

“We had such a great experience! Our request was very last minute, and she was incredibly accommodating and responsive. She even came by before our trip to go over everything, which gave us so much peace of mind. She was so kind, attentive, and clearly cares about the animals she looks after. She not only took great care of our cats, but was also able to check on our chickens, which we really appreciated. It made being away so much easier knowing all of our animals were in such good hands. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful pet sitter!”

“Many truly went above and beyond while caring for my cat. She sent me regular updates and pictures and even took time to play my cat's favorite game while I was gone. The temperatures in Seattle rose to dangerous levels in my absence. Mandy eased my anxiety by checking the heat level on the back of my cat's ear to make sure she wasn't overheating. I didn't know about this tactic beforehand and am grateful I could learn from her. It was a comfort knowing my cat was in such good hands.”

“Logan was a delight to work with. She took time to personally meet and greet prior to our vacation departure which added to our sense of security that our fur baby would be well cared for. Logan arrived each morning during her scheduled time frame which provided continuance of routine for our kitty. We really appreciated her daily reports and photos. She is very responsible. I will definitely ask Logan to care for our kitty in the future and give her the highest recommendation.”

About: You name it, I have had that animal friend growing up, especially dogs and cats. My cat Mama of 20 years had recently passed. I took care of her in her elderly state making sure she got the proper medications and attention she needed. I currently own an American Long Hair named Felix. He is fixed and friendly. Our newest memeber of our home is Cloud, a cuddly Golden Retreiver. We are fostering him. His owner left him behind when he moved out of state. I am capable of taking care of your loved one however needed. Walks, being brushed, bathed, medicine, playtime...you got it! I also live near a lake so there can be some water play! I look forward to meeting your pet! I do work part time, but am available to have most of my hours spent with your pet/s playing outside, at the lake, or in my yard. I can crate your pet if that is what you recommend. I do have a yard and an outdoor screen house. My pets are available to play with yours, or I can baby gate certian rooms off. I also live on a private lane and have many safe quiet roads to take pets for walks.
“We are so appreciative to Michele. She was sable to accommodate us at the last minute. Her home is so inviting and dog friendly. Mason, our golden doodle enjoyed his time immensely and needed to be cajoled to hop back into our car to get home! I’ve never seen that before! I think he wanted to stay longer. Mason was safe, well cared for and happy. We will certainly reach out to Michele to look after Mason the next time we are in town again!”

“Timmy had a great time. Even though he is considered a large dog, he got to hang out with 4 dogs that were much larger than him. He was so comfortable there, he took a nap with them. Mishaela sent us a couple of pictures of everyone sitting together. Their fenced in back yard is pretty much for the dogs to have a good time in.”

About: As a proud owner of a Great Dane, I’ve gained firsthand insight into the unique needs and challenges that come with caring for larger breeds, and I’m well-equipped to manage dogs of all sizes with their energy, health, and well-being!🐾 As a student-athlete, my schedule can be pretty packed during the season, but right now, I'm in the off-season, which gives me more flexibility to dedicate time to pet care. I make sure to prioritize pet sitting around my routine, whether it’s morning walks, playtime, or administering care. I structure my day to allow plenty of time for the pets I care for, ensuring they get attention, exercise, and love! When caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s, safety and trust are my top priorities. In my own home, I ensure that the environment is pet-friendly and secure, with designated spaces for pets to play, rest, and feel comfortable. At client’s home, I follow their guidelines carefully to make sure their pets feel at ease in their familiar surroundings. I always take extra precautions to pet-proof the area, ensure doors and gates are securely closed, and maintain a calm, consistent routine for the pets.
About: Taking care of animals is my calling! They love me and I love them. I’ve always enjoyed working with animals since a young age. I have worked in the dog grooming business training to hopefully own my own dog hotel in the near future! I also have worked at boarding facilities for dogs/cats. I have found that I truly love anything that provides a better space for animal boarding/care. I’m excited to have expanded my experience in dog sitting/walking! I will be offering grooming to the pups I dog sit/walk so feel free to ask about getting a bath/groom! Currently I work full time at a veterinary facility/grooming facility. I can provide my services so long as the dates are available on my schedule! :) Each pet would be cared for differently according to their needs. Lots of love will be given to each dog I sit/walk, if allowed a few treats and toys for good behavior, and safety for the dogs and myself will be the main priority.
About: As a nature-loving Poconos local, I bring a mix of deep care and joyful energy to every walk. Whether your pup is sprightly or senior, playful or shy, I tune into their personality and pace. I offer more than just care—I offer connection, trust, and peace of mind. I work from home full-time, which gives me the flexibility to offer consistent, reliable walks throughout the day. I’m happy to communicate updates, photos, or notes so you always feel connected and confident. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I bring a calm, attentive presence to every walk, always keeping a close eye on surroundings, leash safety, and your fur baby’s well-being. I make time for walks, feeding, playtime, and providing companionship to ensure pets feel comfortable and well cared for! The safety and comfort of every pet is my top priority. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, needs, and preferences so they can feel secure while away from their owner. In both my home and a client's home, I provide a clean, safe, and loving environment. I closely supervise pets, follow all care instructions, and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. My goal is to treat every pet like they're part of my own family. 🐾❤️
“Melanie has been walking my dogs now for two months. She is awesome with my two dogs. She is extremely responsible and supremely trustworthy. I have the confidence of knowing that she will take care of my home as I would. I trust her enough that she has my house keys and alarm code. She keeps notified about the dogs status as she arrives and leaves. Melanie is a gem.”

About: Hi! My name is Deja, and I’m someone who has loved and cared for animals my entire life. I grew up with both cats and dogs and currently have experience caring for multiple pets of my own, including 4 cats and 2 dogs. Over the last 1–2 years, I’ve also gained hands-on pet care experience outside of my own home. As a therapist, compassion, patience, and attentiveness are a huge part of who I am, and I bring those same qualities into the care I provide for every pet. What makes me stand out is the level of care, patience, and emotional attentiveness I bring to animals. I genuinely see pets as beings with feelings, emotions, and unique personalities, and I treat them with the same kindness and respect I would give another person. Being a therapist has strengthened my ability to be calm, observant, trustworthy, and responsive to individual needs, which helps pets feel comfortable and secure around me. I don’t just “watch” pets — I build connection, provide comfort, and make sure they feel loved while you’re away. I recently earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and currently work part-time as a therapist while continuing to grow my caseload. Pet sitting is something I genuinely enjoy and intentionally include in my schedule because caring for animals has always been a passion of mine. Since I work part time, I’m able to dedicate focused attention, patience, and quality care to the pets I work with rather than treating it like a rushed side job. When caring for pets in your home, I strive to create a calm, safe, and loving environment where they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routines, and emotional needs, so I approach each animal with compassion, empathy, and attentiveness. Whether your pet needs playtime, comfort, companionship, or gentle patience, I will treat them with the same love and care I would give my own pets.

“Our two large dogs had a great time with Heather and came back so well-rested and happy! We really enjoyed receiving photos during their stay, seeing how much fun they had! Thank you, Heather!”

My typical day starts at 7:30 with school drop off for my son and drop off at 8:40 for my daughter. With pick ups between 2-3:30. Once school ends my hours become more available.

“This was Andy’s first time at a sitter, Rover and Jahada made this transaction very easy to set up and to be worry free. Jahada was very friendly during her text replies and in person she feels like family. Andy was shy at first but quickly feels at home. Jahada kept us updated with photos during his stay and he seems very comfortable and in great hands. I would recommend Jadaha to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

“Roosevelt took great care of my foster dog, Spaghetti, who has separation anxiety! He was communicative and easy to coordinate with, and sent cute pictures of their walks!”

“Nefertari was great with my dog Beni! He has separation anxiety but she took great care of him and he was happy and healthy when I picked him up. I think he was sad to leave his new friend Sky (her dog) as they got along great. She sent updates and walked him frequently even though he’s not great on a leash. Would definitely recommend!”

“Gisselle and her family are the perfect family for our dogs to stay with while away from home!! They are loving, patient, attentive and absolutely spoiled our two Shetland Sheepdogs!! Gisselle sent photos as well as updates throughout the days we were away. The images showed my two pups comfortable, happy and having a blast playing the day away!! I could not be more grateful for her care in every way. Gisselle is my “go to family” now for all our dog care needs. She is the absolute best!!”

“Marleny and Luis and Family are always amazing. My dog Shelby loves going there. She pulls me to their door. I always feel so good when I drop her off with them. Best dog sitters EVER!”

“Alexandra provided just what we needed for our pup Liddy. We needed a 24 hour sitter close to our daughter’s house who was reliable and provided a warm and loving stay for Liddy. They had a nice time hanging out and Alexandra took excellent care of Liddy. We hope to have Liddy stay with Alexandra again when we visit my daughter (who has a territorial pup and doesn’t like dog visitors).”

“Virlyn and Vanessa were wonderful with our dog! They went above and beyond to accommodate us! We even received video of our dog enjoying walks and food! We definitely found our new pet sitters!”
