About: Having two dogs since they were puppies and raising four cats has taught me a lot about animal behavior, patience, and daily care routines. I've experienced everything from the teething phase to handling older pets, all which have made me a confident and attentive care-giver for all kinds of pets. I had a frog growing up, fish, cats, dogs, and I've helped pet sit numerous times for a friend for his goats, chickens, turtle, geese, turkeys, ducks, fish, pigs, and dogs (puppies, adult dogs and a senior dog with medications who needed extra tlc). I also work here and there at a local horse farm feeding and cleaning stalls as well as turning 45+ horses out to pasture. I'm used to handling strong pulling animals (I like to think being able to handle an antsy 1200+ lb animal prepares me for most anything haha), and my own strong pulling dog so I'm well versed to handling eager dogs on walks. I've been able to administer medications to senior dogs, my own dog needed 5 different medicines for a few weeks during heartworm treatment and my cat currently is transitioning to a prescription urinary diet so I know a few tricks to getting medicine to them as well as doling out special meals. I'm currently working 3-4 days during the week at my main job as a Dental Assistant, as well as working a few hours every Sunday AM at a yoga studio. I am also a part time college student studying Dental Hygiene as well as on my way to becoming an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. Currently that looks like Monday/Wednesday AM I am in class from 9am-11am, Friday from 12pm-5pm and Saturday from 9am-4pm I am at my other class (which ends the first week of September 2026). I will try to update this as often as needed. I marked Fridays off for now but I can be flexible with scheduling around work and school as much as I can. I typically work Monday/Tuesday/Thursday at my main job but the hours vary as early as 7am to as late as 8pm. Sometimes I will get scheduled Wednesday when needed but it's not often. Any questions on availability or time feel free to message me! If you are flexible with schedules it helps out alot too! I also have my own pets at home which is why I currently don't offer overnights as he has separation anxiety if I'm not home at night. I will follow your every instruction and request for taking care of your pet in your home, I can crate you dog and handle letting them out, making sure they don't get off leash or out of your fenced in yard and make sure your cat doesn't slip out the doorway when I come in. I have some sneaky pets myself sometimes and I feel I've become a master at outsmarting even the sneakiest pet. They are so good to her and spoil her with belly rubs and miles-long sunrise and sunset walks. Chandar sends professional grade photos of Ruth with beautiful, artistic, and often charming backdrops (e.g., a hot air balloon, Princeton campus, dog zodiac statute). Chandar’s family is so welcoming, warm, and kind and it’s always a pleasure to see them when we drop off or pick up Ruth. They have also been incredibly accommodating, welcoming Ruth on short notice or letting her stay late. So happy that we met them!”

“Jim provided excellent care for my pup. I really appreciated his availability when my previous boarding arrangements fell through at the last minute. My pup is a finicky eater and Jim kept me up to date on her feeding habits and asked permission to add tempting meat to her food to entice her. She loves to run at full speed, so his fenced property was ideal. Jim also communicated with me as well as provided plenty of photos during her stay and a video of her socializing at playtime. “This was my first time leaving my dog, Jenga, with anyone other than family. I was very nervous, but Katie did everything to make me feel comfortable leaving my baby girl with her! We did a meet and greet before I left to make sure our dogs got along and sent me multiple pictures throughout me trip and updates on what they did that day! They played, did brain puzzles, ran around in the fenced in yard, and snuggled a lot!! Katie also is familiar with dogs who need medication and was able to give Jenga her medicine each morning! I have nothing but great things to say about her and my experience!!”
