“Katherine and her family were amazing. It was the first time we boarded Kirby since the pandemic and prior we used the same boarder for five years. So the nerves were on high. Kirby is a senior dog with puppy energy, not everyone knows how to love on him. Well Katherine and her family did and the pics she sent showed him living his best life on his vacation from his humans…lol And what warmed my heart mist is when I picked jim up, Katherine told me she washed his bed. As simple as the gesture was big for me because his prior boarder always washed his bed before we picked him up. It’s the love and care as if he was her own that I love and appreciate so much❤️”

About: Growing up in a cat-loving home, my affinity for animals was realized at an early age. I’ve been the go-to person amongst family and friends for pet care since I was a kid. I’ve dabbled in this passion on the side my whole life, but am now pursuing it full tilt and hope to build a career in conservational zoology. In 2020, pet care grew outside of my inner circle of friends and family, and I gained clientele I still work for to this day. I’ve handled cats of all sizes and temperaments, administered medication, and adhered to the specific needs of the families in my care. My focus is on the comfort, stimulation, and enrichment of your pet! I am reliable and flexible, and find genuine joy in this line of work. This is how I would prefer to spend my time! My Pets: Thistle and Pants are my two cats. Thistle is a 7 year old domestic long hair whom I adopted from a rescue when she was 6 months old. She grew up with big German Shepherds and finds herself very comfortable around dogs. She gives off that annoyed older sister vibe, but always wants to be where the people are. She looks like a plump raccoon, and spends most of her time perched cozily on the back of the sofa or sunbathing on the windowsill. Pants is a 5 month old Maine Coon kitten, and he makes himself right at home in any space he occupies. He’s adventurous and outspoken, and keeps Thistle moving (and slightly irritated) throughout the day. He’s proving to be too clever for his own good, but overall he’s very chill for such a young boy. He’s currently snoozing next to my elbow on the kitchen table while I type this. I will be adding a new dog to the family in several months, and will undergo training with a focus on companionship and socialization. I can’t wait to have another partner in pet care! She has a huge fenced in yard, great for running and exploring and there is also a walking trail, that runs behind her house. Inside the main floor is a perfect set up to keep your dog safe, but still allows your pup to roam. Marla's dog, Shadow, is so sweet and very well behaved, which speaks volumes in her doggy parenting style! Another bonus to mention, is her 4 loving children! About: I have been volunteering in a local animal shelter for about 6 months and after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh I am looking to commit more time to helping out the people and pets in my community! In the shelter I helped admitted lost animals and I have experience walking and taking dogs out for field trips. Im naturally a very energetic person so I love to take dogs on walks/runs and play out in the yard or house with them! About: My very first job was caring for my neighbors' dogs and cats while they were away on vacation. I was just 10 years old, and I'm so grateful they trusted me with their pets. That experience not only taught me responsibility but also sparked a lifelong passion for pet sitting. I've always been a dog lover and grew up with two dogs in my home at all times. Over the years, I've cared for breeds including Akitas, Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, and Entlebucher Mountain Dogs, giving me experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. One of my proudest accomplishments has been training my own dogs, Kona and Remy, starting when they were just 10 weeks old. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, happy, and cared for while you're away, giving you peace of mind that they're in good hands. I’m currently working part time so my schedule is flexible. I make my own hours so I can pet sit anytime of day and night. Your pets deserve the utmost amount of love and attention from their pet sitter even when you're not there. I will take care of your pets as if they are my own. If there’s specific instructions, I will absolutely make sure they are followed exactly how they should be.

About: Growing up I’ve always had pets, including dogs of multiple breeds! I love being with and taking care of animals. My family currently has 2 border collies and a bulldog/boxer mix! I’m very good with all kinds of pets:) I am currently completing my clinical rotations in physician assistant school! My weekday schedule allows for some evening availability and my weekends are usually open, especially Sundays! About: Hi! I’ve grown up with pets all my life. Now that I’m an adult I have 5 cats and a dog. I’ve fostered (and foster failed) both cats and dogs over the years. I watch my friend’s pets here and at their homes as well. At my house I have a spare room that can be your animal’s home away from home if they need their own secluded space. I also have a fenced in yard with friendly neighbors who are also animal lovers. Come in the summer and I’ll send you home with some fresh veggies from my garden too! I get up early for work and make sure to leave plenty of time to feed, clean litter boxes and make sure all my four legged babies are ready for the day. Once home in the afternoon and after I lay down on the couch they all come to find me for love and to lay on me for all the pets. At night all are welcome to sleep with me, on the couch or wherever they are the most comfortable. I home almost all day over the weekends except for the morning time on Sundays. I have a fenced in yard so any dogs are able to go outside whenever they need to to play, pee or lay in the sun. I watch my neighbor’s dogs as needed and will go over every 4 or so hours to let them out over the weekends. During the week I let them out before I go to work and then as soon as I come home. I then let them out again before bed around 8pm. I also am able to let them out as needed when they are in a pinch and can’t get home in time. My cats and yours if they come for a stay will have water and toys available to them at all times. They will be fed twice a day with a snack of crunchies before bed. If you needed me to come to your house to take care of your cats and/or dogs, I would be able to come early in the morning, after work and before bed during the week and every 4-6 hours during the weekend. While at your house I can take animals for a walk, play, give pets and love, brush or whatever else is needed. Of course I’d feed them and clean kitty litter boxes or whatever else your babies need. I am good with giving medicine to cats and dogs. I give daily medication to my dog and have had to give cats medicine in the past.
