My cat doesn’t always allow new people to take care of him but he did with her. She even took my Golden for a sleepover at her house so my dog wouldn’t need to be crated for a long time. However, I am always open to working around my schedule and offering as much flexibility as I can - just shoot me a message! We have a large back porch and yard with a fenced area for sniffing around. If your pet requires extra exercise, we have a quiet neighborhood to walk around in. We have a dog bed in almost every room, space for you to bring a crate, or an area that can be closed off overnight if necessary or requested. There are few places in the house that the dogs don't have access to out of an abundance of safety. Otherwise, they are welcome to make themselves at home! About: When not traveling on business trips, I work from my home office, so your dog will receive 24/7 care! I’ve had dogs my entire life and my first job as a tween was pet sitting for neighbors. My current rescue dogs are Jake; a senior Coonhound mix adopted in Tennessee and Kiba, an adult Husky-Great Pyrenees mix adopted locally and is a recovering escape artist. As a former paramedic, I have the skills to administer medications and medical care, as well as to deal with any emergencies. My large backyard is fenced and has a six-foot privacy screen! Our dogs have known that I treat them well, but that I am no “pushover”. In our house, I’m the “General”! I only give a command one time. When Jake or Kiba see the stern look and folded arms, they know to obey the command. I’ve also had a cat, fish, frogs, a turtle, a rabbit, Guinea pigs and even chameleons! At home, I have decades of hands-on experience raising and caring for my own dogs from puppyhood through their senior years, including my nearly 12-year-old German Shepherd, Waylon; my 5-year-old Australian Cattle Dog, Leo; and my 5-month-old Beagle/Chihuahua puppy, Dexter. Over the years, I have also regularly dog sat and walked for family and friends, treating every pet as if they were my own. I bring patience, empathy, and a strong connection to every dog I work with, ensuring they feel safe, understood, and happy! I’m so excited to meet your pup! Working from home part-time allows me a high level of flexibility, making me available throughout both weekdays and weekends to accommodate your routine. “Daniel was fantastic with our dog, Moki. We were out of the country for 2 weeks, and not only was his long term price the best in the area, but his service was by far the best as well. He sent frequent photos and updates, and his updates were the most detailed and most fun that we have received from any sitter since we started using Rover more than two years ago. Icing on the cake: he offers additional services through Rover. We were able to add on a doggy bath and nail trim so that when we picked Moki up, she was nice and clean. About: I have had the honor of having dogs my entire life. Recently, helped my daughter potty training her rescue puppies. They have become the protectors of my grandchildren. As an Empty Nester, I enjoy the simple things in life and would love to offer my services for walks during the early mornings and evenings. Additionally, if you need overnight care, I can provide that service in your home upon request. Currently, I do not have pets in my home, as I do not have a fenced yard that would allow them to safely play and enjoy outdoor activities.

About: I grew up with cats, dogs and horses, and have been taking care of them since I was 10 years old. I have my own lab mix and a cat. I make sure that the animals I watch are well cared for, safe, fed, entertained, and exercised. I love all animals and really enjoy working with them. I am available anytime to watch pets in my home. I do work some evenings for up to 4 hours and weekends for up to 6 hours. At my home I have one dog and a cat that will be able to keep your pet company. My pets get along very well with other animals. I have a yard, a large field across the street, and a dog park near by I can take dogs to if allowed.
