About: I have experience with many types of dogs of all sizes and energy levels! My dog, who is a coonhound mix, gets walked a lot, but is very chill and super friendly with other dogs. I’ve also cared for dogs from an aggressive lab mix, to a 4lb chihuahua. I had a long-term dog sitting job in college where I frequently gave medicine, assembled natural food plates, and exercised multiple dogs with different ages and energy levels. I’m currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to tend to your pup! My dog also requires a lot of attention, so I’m used to dogs who need multiple walks a day and lots of cuddle/play time. My dog gets walked at least 4 miles a day, and has constant access to food and water, as he eats pretty intuitively. While he normally just lounges around the apartment while I’m gone, he is crate trained and can he put up if that is what your pup prefers!

My true passion for pet sitting comes from my desire to be accompanied by them, dogs specifically. I work with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and personalities. We discovered before we dropped him off the first morning that our group would be eating dinner about 3 miles from the sitter's home. To pick him up at 4:30, return him to the B&B, and then drive back to dinner venue would have added about 15 - 18 miles of driving in somewhat heavy traffic. The backyard takes up most of that, including a 6' privacy fence. Our floors are carpeted, though if any pet has an accident we are willing to clean it. We are trustworthy, kind, flexible, and willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that while you go on a vacation away for the night, or even just have a little "me" time that your pet is safe, and being treated as well as you would treat them if you were home. We have sat for several family members and friends in the past, even as a young teen. Whenever we have little get-togethers with other family and friends we encourage them to bring their pets. They can always roam free through the yard, and if needed a dip in the pool. We can promise that while staying with us, your kiddo will be taken care of as if you never left. It is important to be able to trust someone enough to take care of a family member, and I can promise that I will be able to do the job. I hope to meet some furry-faces soon! We are home all day and on evenings. There are two adults and one senior dog in the home. Potty breaks are done often outside in our fence yard We will care for your pet as our own. I currently care for my family’s own pets, including two friendly dogs, three cats, and three horses. I live at a home with a large yard in a quiet neighborhood. The yard is unfenced as our family dogs stay within the perimeter of our home. For this reason I will leash or clip client dogs to a long line when taking them outside for their own safety, unless the owner is confident in their recall abilities and/or specifically grants them permission to be off leash while supervised. Pets will always have access to clean drinking water, and I have a few dog crates available to use upon request for dogs who may benefit from one (for up to medium-large size). Our two family dogs (a labradoodle and a sheltie) are very friendly, healthy, up to date on all vaccines, and would love to play with your fur babies if they are friendly and healthy in turn. If boarding your dog at my house, I have limited ability to separate client pets from our two dogs, so if you would prefer your dog to not interact with others, I would suggest choosing a pet-sitting service where I come to the pet, rather than the boarding service where the pet comes to me. I took care of his Rotwilliers whenever he vacationed and had several dogs of my own.
