“Christy has watched Peach throughout her entire life; sometimes it was a weekly basis, a few times she watched her at a last minute Emergency notice, and had even boarded her over a long weekend. Peach isn't a big fan of humans but loves going to Christy's, getting to visit with her friends. Peach loves her dog Louie and playing with the other pups that she takes care of. I enjoy the photo updates, I am happy that Peach feels safe and I feel comforted while she is in Christy's care, and that Christy allows the dogs on the furniture-Peach even got to sleep in bed when she stayed. About: I have taken care of neighbors’, family’s, and friend’s dogs plenty of times before, from small to big dogs. I am very attentive to detail, so I will be able to care for your dog’s individual needs. Most recently, I have cared for a miniature schnauzer puppy, a black lab puppy, and two mid-aged mixed breed dogs. I have additional experience with doodles, king cavalier spaniels, dauschunds, pitbulls, and pugs. I am currently studying to take my physical therapy board examination so I will my schedule is flexible. I am not working at the moment, but hope to get a full-time job after taking my examination at the end of July. A part-time job may be added in the near future. I am willing to feed them, walk them, play with them, let them out to the bathroom, and clean up after them. Whatever they need, I will willingly provide for them. I can easily crate your dog if needed and spent my last semester away at college lifting a lot at the gym, so there need be no worries of the dog walking itself. I enjoy being outdoors when the weather is nice, so if that’s something your pet also enjoys, I am glad to spend time outdoors with them. If they are more the indoor, cuddly type, I am to accompany them in that as well.

About: I don’t have much experience with dogs if I’m being honest. The only experience I had with a dog was with a baby pitbull and that was for about a year. That being said, despite my lack of experience I am willing to learn. My love for animals in general is why I am open to learning. I will still provide the same love, care and affection for a dog as I would a cat. My daily and weekly routine is very open for pet care. I am currently on maternity leave so I have lots of availability throughout my days. I treat them like their family and not strangers or “just for the money type of thing”. About: Hi, I am Mamie (I have gone by Mamie since birth but am technically named Mary) and I am a lifelong pet person, and professional sitter. I am relatively new to Rover specifically, but am in my 40's and have cared for other people's pets for over 15 years, both here in Pittsburgh and in Seattle where I am originally from. I am fully privately insured for pet sitting and dog walking and carry broadened property damage coverage, animal bailee coverage and veterinary reimbursement coverage. I do two check ins a day with lots of pictures, and am a quick responder to messages (my average response time is 6 min). My most consistent feedback is that i am very communicative and professional, and that owners feel secure and never worry about their pets well-being when they are with me! My mother was a vet tech and I grew up rescuing many animals, and continued that tradition into adulthood, so I have ample experience in a multitude of pet types and situations I work as a housekeeper around the Pittsburgh area from about 7am-3pm mon-thursday, so will not be available in the home or for potty breaks during those hours. The absolute longest I would leave a pet during a house-sitting is 8 hours on those days, but quite often it's only 4-6 hours that i am working. All other outings/errands would be less than four hours, tops, but usually only about an hour. I am comfortable with more or less any pet, from rodents to lizards and I am not squirmish about even the creepy crawlies and slithery noodles. I can and have given almost every kind of medication there is, including subcutaneous injections, and am comfortable doing so with care and compassion and confidence. I am clean, responsible, and trustworthy. I will only take jobs with a meet and greet beforehand, and you can get a feel for my vibe and professionalism at that time, but I am sure you will like me and feel comfortable having me in your home. As a housekeeper I am used to going into strangers homes and having a high level of integrity and care for their space and belongings. I also am very clean and fastidious. I keep things looking like I wasn't there as much as possible, and will clean litter boxes daily and change water bowls daily and do deep cleans of water fountains 1x a week. I work as a housekeeper from 7am-3pm mon-thursday around the greater Pittsburgh area. If you have multiple dogs who need round the clock supervision and you book me at least three weeks before the sitting start date, than we could work that out and I could block out my housekeeping schedule for that time and just be available for the sitting job (my rates will be increased in this situation as I am priced for my current availability, not constant care and being unable to make my normal wages during the sit). In clients homes I am respectful, clean, tidy, responsible and trustworthy. I mind my business and am not judgemental. I will spend lots of time loving and socializing your pets, and I set alarms and try to keep potty breaks frequent to avoid accidents and less stress.

I have two girls 5 and 10, who both love dogs like I do, they are at school during the day (camp in the summer) but the are very knowledgable when it comes to the proper way to handle dogs/puppies and when to back off from a dog that might be scared or uncomfortable. They have been plenty of dogs-all sizes, I included a few pictures of them in my profile as well. I also have a 2 year old Shih Tzu named Fancy, she is adorable and great with other dogs, we like to go for long walks during the day. We can't wait to meet and make new furry friends. About: I absolutely love animals and will treat them good! They are in good hands at my home and on walks. Me and my children are pet people 100%! We will make sure your pets have a great time here. I also work from home so i’ll be home with your pets the full time! I work from home & can tend to your pets the full stay! Also have 3 children who adventure a lot with me and we love bringing your pets along (if thats okay) I have a HUGE back yard and plenty of room for fur babies! also two very gentle kids that LOVE animals, we will play all day together. For older pets I understand they may not want to play which is totally fine we have a comfy couch to lounge on all day

“For years I’ve struggled with not having a support system in place to feel at ease when going on vacation with my dog. I may not have a close family to do so but I do have Kasey and Alyssa. About: What sets me apart is how comfortable and patient I am with all kinds of pet personalities. I know every dog and cat is different, some are energetic and playful, while others may be shy or need a little extra time to warm up. I’m attentive to each pet’s routine and individual needs, whether that means walks and playtime, lots of attention, or simply giving them a comfortable and calm environment. I’m also comfortable caring for pets of different ages and adjusting to the specific instructions their owners provide. My full-time job offers a lot of flexibility since I build my own schedule and have the ability to work remotely rather than being in the office every day. This makes it easy for me to fit pet care into my routine and adjust my availability day-to-day. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or spending a little extra time with your pet, I’m able to plan my schedule around their needs and make sure they’re getting plenty of attention and care! I’m most comfortable with the everyday care that keeps pets happy, healthy, and comfortable while their owners are away. This includes feeding, fresh water, walks, bathroom breaks, playtime, exercise, and of course plenty of attention and company! I’m also happy to follow any specific routines or instructions you have for your pet. My experience is primarily with general pet care rather than grooming, so I like to focus on making sure pets feel safe, cared for, and stick as closely to their normal routine as possible.
