Leo needed meds and extra care due to his multiple medical problems but Kassandra took care of him very well. Leo was very happy with Kassandra as I could see when she was leaving after dropping him off and Leo didn’t want her to leave. She was flexible with drop off, and walked the dog a couple of times in a few hours, which was just what the dog needed after 8 hours in the car. She also took the dog to the local dog park without issue. $72 was a little pricey for 4 hours of daycare, and we didn't get pictures like we expected (I see some were taken, so maybe it was an app issue), but all in all it was basically just what we needed and we're grateful!”

He was incredibly accommodating and flexible with the timing and was very eager to help. His corgi Watson is adorable and a very social dog. Our dog was anxious but Justin was able to keep her company and sooth her while we were gone for a few hours, she eventually relaxed and laid her head on his lap! About: I’ve always been a dog lover and both me and brother rescued a 6 year old white Labrador named “Zorro” who we brought before Covid began. We love him so much and since I moved countries he now lives with my parents in India. About: I brought our two cats, Chili and Lok-Lok, all the way from China, but I grew up with dogs in my family and love both. I’ve taken care of my family’s and friends’ dogs and I heard about this app so I thought it might be fun to give it a try. Whenever I get called on to dog-sit for my friend here in Pittsburgh I like to go to the dog parks near the South Side river or jog along with them, rain or snow, and socialize with other dogs. Looking forward to meeting yours! I’m a PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh so summer and winter breaks are relatively free, and usually I’m only “working” 2-3 half days per week. I have to do a lot of reading and thinking so getting out of the house is a good way to take a break and process. I have a fenced yard where I do some gardening and let our cats out every day to chase bugs and birds. My friends have stayed over with their dogs and I just move the cats to the second floor and keep them there while the dogs take the first and the yard.

About: Hi, I'm Damara! I have grown up with dogs my entire life. We recently said goodbye to our senior Boston Terrier in January of this year. We have owned multiple Boston Terriers for the past 20 years. I also recently fostered a Goberian (half Golden Retriever/half Husky) for 4 months so am comfortable with large dogs as well as small. I work a hybrid schedule that I manage myself so can be home most of the time with your pet. If I do need to be in the office I am only gone for 4-5 hours at a time. I have a fenced in, brick courtyard that's great for quick potty breaks and lounging in the sun. But I also really enjoy long walks so can accomodate whatever your pets prefer. Happy to discuss everything and will do whatever is best for your pet. We also own a Syrian Hamster named Cookie Dough that is completely secure in her enclosure. Your pet would have to be ok with children (extra play time for your pet) because I have a 9 year old daughter who is here most of the time. I will be the person providing care to your pet 100% of the time. At no time will my child be responsible for or left alone with your pet. Any additional questions, please ask. We are not yet ready for our own full time dog and we miss having one around so I figured we would give Rover a try. Look forward to meeting you and your pet. Rita is a high-energy dog who requires lots of exercise and has developed some special needs as she has gotten older. I will give any pet the care and attention that I give to Rita! I’m a junior in college who absolutely adores dogs and also happens to want to make money for tuition😂 For the summer : *for house sitting, Im available every day but on weekdays I would need to leave from 4:30-7 to go to work. About: In my life I have been the proud owner of four cats, one dog, two chinchillas, two chameleons, and a Guinea pig. I've always had a passion for and love of animals. I've taken care of feral cat colonies, pet sit for my friends all the time, and even volunteered at an animal rescue in college where my favorite job was wearing a bee hand puppet and play fighting with a raccoon named Czar Czar who had lost the use of his back legs. About: I’ve taken care of just about every common household pet you’d encounter, from dogs, cats, rabbits, and hamsters to birds, reptiles, and amphibians :) I’m experienced with socializing cats and dogs of all ages and temperaments, with more experience being with dogs but my recent time has been mostly cats. I currently work part time from home and can work from anywhere with internet access, so my schedule is pretty open. I don’t drive, but am experienced using public transportation. My style is generally to be the least bit intrusive as possible. Most pets have their routines and schedules, and I’ve found that sticking to them as much as possible can help to ease what might already be a stressful situation for them.
