About: Lucky me to have grown up with my ever-attentive dog, Shirley, an Australian Shepherd mix from the time I was born until I was 14. Then, Cindy - part Chow - came into our family. She was fiery and at grew to become very territorial and protective of our family. I learned how to work with a pup who was loving and sweet to us but dangerous to others. As a young adult, I adopted my perfect grey and white feline with a perfectly pink nose, Merzbow. She was my best friend for 15 years and moved with me from PA to NYC to LA. When I lost her, I was devastated. She was the joy of my life. I am a free-lance artist and performer, so I have lots of flexibility on a weekly basis! I go out of town for work from time to time, but I am usually in Pittsburgh and able to visit pets during all hours. I live in a 3 story home with access to a back patio on the first floor. Pets can either stay on the first floor, where I am usually working in my music studio and have a bed where I can sleep near them, or they can enjoy the rest of the house if they're able to climb stairs or are easily carried! I live in the city and near a park and can take dogs for walks whenever they need one.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 9 years old. My family has had 3 dogs at a time since then and I have always been responsible for watching them, letting them out, and feeding them. I currently own a year old Jack Russel named sir loin and he is absolutely obsessed with making friends! I’m always available on during the week and weekend as I have a remote job. “This was our first time using Rover and we’re so glad we found Amy! We met with her a couple of weeks before Max’s stay and she quickly put our minds at ease with how kind she is and you can tell how much she truly cares about the dogs she brings into her home. She explained how she would slowly introduce Max to the house and the other dogs which was nice to hear. During his stay we received daily updates and photos showing how our dog was fitting in. We could see he was having a great time! These updates were greatly appreciated. We wouldn’t hesitate to have Max stay with Amy again and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a place to board their dog.”

“Sunny had such a great time staying with Adisyn and her partner! They took him for walks every day, kept up with his usual routine, and even let him sleep in bed with them, which he absolutely loves! Adisyn kept us updated throughout our entire trip with plenty of pictures and videos, and she was always available whenever we needed her. This was Sunny’s first time staying in someone else’s home, so we were a little nervous about how he would adjust, but they made him feel completely comfortable and at home. He came back to us happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for. We wouldn’t think twice about leaving Sunny with Adisyn again. “When we had to go out of town for a family emergency we are so grateful that we found Mary and her family to watch our dog for a long weekend. Dutches was cared for extremely well and we received updates and pictures throughout. Mary and her family went out of there way to treat Dutches like one of their own. “Sara was perfect. I booked her last minute for the first time and she did an amazing job caring for my dogs, one of which is a senior dog that needs special care. I was very anxious to leave her but Sara was very reassuring and communicated very well. She didn’t miss a beat giving my dog her medications and sent plenty of updates. When I picked my dogs up, I could just tell they were comfortable and had a great stay. Absolutely plan to use Sara again.”
