“This was my first time leaving my dog, Aldo, for such a long period, so I was honestly a bit nervous at first. The first couple of days were the hardest for me, and I found myself checking in often. Donte was very understanding and kept me updated, which really helped. After the first few days, I started receiving regular videos, pictures, and even video calls, and that made a huge difference. I could see Aldo was not just okay, he was actually having a great time. He’s normally the only dog at home, but during his stay, he had other dogs to interact with and played and enjoyed himself. It honestly felt like he was the one on vacation, not me. Aldo is a 12-year-old senior dog and can be a picky eater, so I was concerned about how he would adjust. Donte was very patient with him and made sure he was comfortable. When I picked him up, Aldo was completely himself, calm, normal, and clearly well taken care of. That meant a lot to me. I also really appreciated the home environment. There were always people around, which helped Aldo feel more at ease since he’s used to that at home. Overall, I’m very grateful for the care and attention Aldo received. You can tell Donte genuinely cares about the dogs he watches. It was very clear that Rebecca has a good sense of how dogs are and what they need. She was careful to point out that her stairway was sometimes a challenge for dogs and that it was important to make sure Mousse would be ok navigating them... and she'd thought out where to place the crate in her apartment so it wasn't in the sun. She sent regular check ins and Mousse was clearly having a great time in all the pictures :) In addition, Rebecca was very flexible and understanding when we were stuck in traffic and needed to delay pick up by a few hours. About: I’m a dog mom of two - that don’t like other dogs/kids, so I have experience with challenging walks. They live with their grandparents for now, so I have a lots of love, and care to give :) I work pm (3-11:30pm) shifts in center city with random days off, so I’m mostly available in mornings/overnights or certain full days when I have off. My apartment complex has a great green area around the building where I can walk my babies when they visit me. They are allowed on the bed/couch, but they like to sunbath on the fluffy carpet as well. They have a separate area in the dining room so they have space to eat peacefully. My little one also likes to hide with his treats, especially under the bed or table:) I make sure they get enough walks, even when their stomach is bad in the middle of the night. I also like to take them to the Wissahickon park, they love car rides. I would make sure other babies feel comfortable just like mines / or to create a safe and comfortable environment with lots of attention.

About: As the child of an incredibly busy single mother, I had to quickly learn how to train my pets to avoid incidents on walks and messes at home. I've since gotten quite good at reinforcement training and re-call, and most animals tend to warm up to me pretty quickly. I work Friday and Saturday nights as a bouncer, but during the day my schedule is very open! I often walk my dog between jobs as well. I treat my clients' pets with as much love and care as I would my own. I ensure cats and dogs are walked/played with till they're sufficiently tuckered out, and don't leave the premises until I guarantee their food and water are stocked for the day/night and that they're eating regularly.

“Gregory was very responsive to my last minute request for boarding. My dog is little and anxious, and I was not sure how she would do with another dog as large as Koda, Gregory’s dog. But Koda turned out to be very well trained and had a lovely calm demeanor. Maya was very comfortable and I will definitely be using Gregory again!”

“I am so so glad I found Victoria on Rover -- highly recommend if you need a sitter for your animal bb! <33 My dog has some health issues which affect his diet, and is a generally shy / anxious lil guy (like myself), and I can't express how grateful and secure I felt knowing Theo felt safe, cared for, and happy while I was away. Victoria has so much experience and compassion working with animals, and you can absolutely tell by her kindness, attentive care, and communication. I appreciated every message and cute picture of my pup Theo on walks, smiling, and relaxing with Victoria (and Remi, Nova, and Luey!) In addition, I appreciated the add-on booking allowing Victoria to come pick and drop Theo off. The ease of the booking and Victoria being such a lovely sitter eased so much of my mental load and stress of traveling and being away from my pup, and I can't recommend her enough. I think Theo says woof in agreement, since he came back so happy :) This was my first time booking with Victoria but I am so happy to have found a wonderful sitter and would love to rebook when I will need one for Theo again :)”
