About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was about 12. I got my first Maltese for my birthday and I had it until it passed away when I was 17. I then took over care for my grandma’s Puggle and I care for it until it passed away of old age as well. I have walk dogs in my neighborhood in high school to make extra money. I also am experienced with childcare as well as senior care. I am currently a graduate student. I I also have a part-time job to pay for my tuition. I will be available on weekends as well any day during the week as long as we schedule the appropriate time. About: I have ten years of experience working with seniors in the past and I have 3 amazing, older kids that love to care for animals. I took some time off of work to help homeschool my kids. But my kids have a pretty easy schedule. Therefore, I have a lot of time to care for animals. I have a pregnant neighbor so she usually needs help with her dog. I like to give them 2-3 walks a day, bathe them if needed, feed them dog food with lots of nutrients, and make sure they are hydrated. My home is pet and smoke and pet free, and the back patio has six foot high cement walls. I have a pet gate on my staircase for when I leave the house, so no fear if your furry friend likes to scrounge in clothing or laundry! Additionally, the entrance to my house has a secondary door which is always closed, so there’s no chance of accidental pet breakouts while entering or leaving the house.

“Alessia took wonderful care of our dog, Kizie, for a full week while we were out of the country. Kizie has specific medication requirements due to her epilepsy, and Alessia followed all of our instructions carefully and consistently, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Kizie is a Malamute, so she comes with plenty of shedding and, being in a new environment, had a few accidents as well. Alessia handled everything with patience, care, and understanding. Most importantly, she took the time to walk Kizie, give her attention, and make sure she was happy and comfortable throughout her stay.
