I was a bit nervous about leaving her while I went out of town for my 50th high school reunion, but Melissa and Dan put me at ease right away. From the start, my plan was to have Leia stay with them for two nights, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. They have a lovely fenced yard and several dogs of their own, which created the perfect environment for Leia to safely and gradually get used to being around other dogs. Dan works from home, so I knew she was getting plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. They kept me updated with several photos and messages showing how Leia was doing, which I really appreciated. It was clear that she was settling in well and getting comfortable in their home and with their dogs. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and seemed to have genuinely enjoyed her little “vacation.” I highly recommend Melissa and Dan for dog sitting. I currently have two dogs of my own, Zuko and Maggie, who have given me experience with dogs at very different stages of life. My workday typically starts at 8:30 AM, but every morning begins with a long walk for Zuko to make sure he gets his exercise and starts the day happy. My schedule is also flexible, so I’m able to take multiple breaks throughout the day for potty breaks, backyard playtime, cuddles, and check-ins. I love having dogs around while I work, and having them as part of my daily routine makes pet care feel very natural. Your pup won’t be left alone for long stretches while in my care. I’m able to provide frequent attention, bathroom breaks, playtime, and lots of love throughout the day while still maintaining a consistent routine. I have a medium-sized, fully fenced-in yard where dogs have plenty of room to run, play fetch, and get their zoomies out! I love giving pups opportunities for exercise and play while also making sure they have a safe and comfortable space to relax. I also have a designated pet room upstairs for dogs who need some quiet time or a little space of their own. It’s set up with plenty of toys, comfortable pet beds, and everything they need to feel cozy and at home. About: I have had dogs my entire life; mainly German shepherds. In my adult life, I have rescued Pitbulls. I am capable of feeding, letting out/walking, playing with, sitting, and giving medicine to, if necessary. I learned to give fluids through IV under the skin to one of my pitbulls who was in kidney failure at the end of her life a few years ago. About: I've grown up with animals my whole life. Growing up I had two cats and adopted my first dog Tillie back in 2102. She was a Pitbull mix and the sweetest girl, unfortunately she passed away about 2 years ago. I have since rescued another pittie named Yang and he is full of energy and always keeps me on my toes. While I have cared for my own dogs and cats throughout the years I have also cared for friends dogs and my sisters own cat. I have experience working with dog's of all sizes as my friends dog who I would often watch for them was a Bull Mastiff. My sister's cat can be temperamental at times so I also have experience with feisty animals. While I can not watch dogs in my own home, I would be more than happy and responsible going to someone's home to care for their precious fur baby. I am responsible and will be considerate when entering someone's home. I work full time Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30 pm. I would be available for drop in visits and walks anytime after 6:00 pm though the week. I am off on weekends so I would be available throughout the day. I am also off on all major holidays so would be available on those days as well. I love taking my fur baby on walks when it is nice out and love playing with my fur baby and his toys while inside as well. I am responsible and can attend to any needs that you have for your pet.

“Toby is a Godsend!! The way she went above and beyond for my Husky was truly a blessing. I took a 5day vacation and my pup does get depressed when I leave. He had a few accidents because of such but gratefully Toby took care of him. The walks were 3x a day and she even did it in the rain. All of his food bowls were cleaned and tidy which I didn’t even expect, but was so appreciative of after a long trip. My dog truly enjoyed her company. Toby is definitely my go to for my next trip. From the start, my plan was to have Leia stay with them for two nights, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. They have a lovely fenced yard and several dogs of their own, which created the perfect environment for Leia to safely and gradually get used to being around other dogs. Dan works from home, so I knew she was getting plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. They kept me updated with several photos and messages showing how Leia was doing, which I really appreciated. It was clear that she was settling in well and getting comfortable in their home and with their dogs. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and seemed to have genuinely enjoyed her little “vacation.” I highly recommend Melissa and Dan for dog sitting. They truly love dogs, understand dog behavior, and provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment. I would not hesitate to book with them again.”
