Diana and her family were extremely considerate, spent time with us during the drop-off to make sure Max was comfortable before we left, sent an update so we would know how things were going and explained his stay when we picked him up. And, when we unpacked after we returned home, we found a little treat bag for Max. She asked questions to determine his schedule and tried to keep to his routines regarding when he ate, walked, where he slept. She was knowledgeable about different breeds of dogs and knew his traits based on breed. She and her family love dogs and it showed in their interactions. Diana is professional, through and very caring to both pets and owners. I highly recommend her to care for your pet. You'll want to book early, as I'm sure she books very quickly. ”

When we first met, C-Zar didn't require any medications. By the time his stay arrived, he needed to take two medications each day. On pickup day, things were a little hectic on my end, but she remained patient, understanding, and willing to work with me. About: I’ve raised puppies since I was young, til the were seniors. Now, we just have one dog and four cats. We love animals, pet sitting, walking, and caring for others gives us a way to do so. My son Kingston, is jumping in this summer to help, he is home from college. I am a SAHM, it’s easy for me to fit your loved ones into my schedule! About: I’m Alex and I currently have one pitbull so I am A 24/7 dog mom! I love hiking and being out in nature. I have a high energy personality that is perfect for wearing any pup out. Growing up my parents owned dogs of all sizes and personalities (Dalmatian, Akitas, border collie, and jack russel) I love the Lower Allen dog park and would gladly take any dogs there with permission! My previous rescue pit had an abusive past which sadly caused some behavioral issues. Due to that I am more than comfortable watching any dogs that may be a little rough around the edges. They're animal lovers too, but in case separation is needed, my bedroom, enclosed sunroom, and finished barn space can be used to contain a pet when the kids are around. For pet sitting and dog walking, I have a leash and a fanny pack. As a runner, it's a joy to take energetic dogs on the trail. For runs & walks, I use my own private access to the little gunpowder falls river woods with a long walkable waterfall, the local NCR trail, or the cemetery across the street (1/4mi laps).

About: Hello! I’m Mags (Rover requires me to use my legal name) and I love all animals I have been passionate about dogs ever since I was a child but because experienced working with dogs and cats (and some bunnies) while working for the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County. I was a veterinarian assistant for one year and then became an adoptions Manager for three years. This was the most fulfilling experience of my adult life, being able to help animals and the community daily. I recently lost my closest companion, Xander, about a month ago. He was 13 years old and I had him since he walked into the humane society at two months old. Through him I gained even more experience with aging dogs, medical care and many behavioral changes as he aged. While using positive reinforcement training we navigated 6 military moves, life adaptions to aging and the introduction of two kittens. I will take all this experience and use it to provide the same amount of love an attention for you furry family members as I did for Xander. I am currently employed part time and have many days free as well as can stay over night or board animals in my home. I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work with any client’s schedule as needed. I currently only have two cats in my home, so I’m able to provide boarding for cat friendly animals. I have a fenced in back yard and am usually not gone from the house for more than four hours. I also am available for staying over nights at clients houses for a more comfortable experience for everyone in the family.

While Rover's pricing is set up on a per dog fee schedule, I cap charges at $80 per night and $40 per drop in or walk, regardless of the number of pets in your household. In the Rover app, I must modify your booking to be able to do that. I work full-time 9:30am -6pm, Monday -Friday in York, Pa, so I limit my service area during the week to areas between York and New Oxford. I can serve a larger area such as Gettysburg and Dillsburg on weekends. I adhere carefully to client directions about medication, supervision, feeding, and exercise. “We booked Kyla and Cody not just for boarding our pup, but for drop-in visits with our other critters. Kyla and Cody were fantastic! We had some unique instructions, and nothing fazed them. They were great about providing updates and photos, asked questions when appropriate, and overall just gave us a sense of relief that our babies would be in good hands so that we could truly relax while we were away from home. Plus our pup found a great new friend in their dog while in their home.”

“Max had great care from Diana. He was only there for one overnight and had some digestive issues due to nervousness but Diana and her family were very understanding and gave him great comfort. Diana and her family were extremely considerate, spent time with us during the drop-off to make sure Max was comfortable before we left, sent an update so we would know how things were going and explained his stay when we picked him up. And, when we unpacked after we returned home, we found a little treat bag for Max. She asked questions to determine his schedule and tried to keep to his routines regarding when he ate, walked, where he slept. She was knowledgeable about different breeds of dogs and knew his traits based on breed. She and her family love dogs and it showed in their interactions. Diana is professional, through and very caring to both pets and owners. I highly recommend her to care for your pet. You'll want to book early, as I'm sure she books very quickly. ”

“Sammy had such a great stay with Jena at The Doggy Den 🐾 She kept me updated with pictures and videos, and he clearly had the best time playing his heart out lol. Communication was always prompt and professional, and I really appreciated her letting me know whenever she had to step out briefly. The space is calm and beautiful with a huge fenced-in backyard, and she even kept Sammy in his familiar sleeping setup. I felt completely comfortable leaving him in her care—we’ll definitely be booking again soon 💛”

“From our very first meet-and-greet, I knew C-Zar would be in good hands. It was reassuring to see how quickly he warmed up to Lora, and I really appreciated that she took the time to show me around her home. Seeing the organized cubbies, individualized schedules, and overall setup for each pet gave me a lot of confidence that every animal in her care receives personalized attention. Lora's communication was outstanding throughout C-Zar's stay. She was always quick to respond and sent multiple updates each day, including pictures, videos, and detailed written reports. Being able to see how he was doing made it so much easier to relax while I was away. What impressed me most was Lora's adaptability and flexibility. When we first met, C-Zar didn't require any medications. By the time his stay arrived, he needed to take two medications each day. Lora immediately reassured me that it wouldn't be a problem, carefully watched my demonstration, and made me feel completely confident that she would follow his routine exactly as instructed. On pickup day, things were a little hectic on my end, but she remained patient, understanding, and willing to work with me. We've already booked C-Zar's next stay with Lora, and I know we'll be repeat customers. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, and compassionate pet sitter.”

She is warm and friendly and her property is huge with all of the makings for a great time for dogs! Spacious and large grassed and fenced areas for playtime! Heather D graciously shared photos of Tucker having the time of his life. Tucker is a friendly dog and gets along with all animals he encounters so we were thrilled he’d have playmates with our visiting dogs. Fantastic photo moments of him running and playing with other dogs and some of the quieter moments like sitting on the couch watching TV with Heather D’s family. Her property was safe and clean and truly ideal for what she provides for boarding. I’d highly recommend Heather D and Tucker looks forward to spending time there again! 5 stars :)”
