About: We have owned, rescued, and fostered many fur babies, including seniors and those that have medical needs and hospice care. Fur babies are unconditional love! I am retired and have a lot of time for fur babies. Taking care of fur babies are what keeps me active and, on the go. I have a fenced yard and three smaller dogs that love to play and cuddle. As a child/teenager, I grew up with two Standard Poodles. In my early 20's, I was a parent to two Staffordshire Bull Terriers. Present day, I am mama to Nala, our Australian Shepherd & Siberian Husky mix, and Riku, our purebred Siberian Husky. Throughout the years, neighbors, friends, family, and clients have relied on me to walk, provide daycare, pet & house-sit, and overnight board many dogs of all different breeds. I am available on a daily/weekly basis for boarding/overnight stays in our home (including weekends, i.e. Monday through Sunday). I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of attention and playtime, and receive walks or potty breaks as needed. I always pay close attention to each dog’s personality, behavior, and any specific instructions provided by the owner. Safety and trust are very important to me, so I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure at all times and that the home is left exactly how I found it. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel reassured while they’re away. Since I have two dogs of my own, I understand how important it is to know your pets are in caring and reliable hands.
About: With 10+ years of professional dogsitting experience I have worked with many types of dogs and pride myself on my ability to adapt to each animal's individual needs. I have experience with small and large breeds, puppies, seniors, those who are anxiety prone, high energy, and even blind. I am comfortable and confident administering medication (orally, eye drops). I specialize in dog care but have also cared for cats and horses professionally. Growing up I rode horses, always had a dog in the house, as well as cats, hamsters, and fish. Always immersed in nature, I loved to walk around my yard and find box turtles creeping along in the grass. A surprise to fulfill my childlike wonder that still hasn't left me!! As an animal lover from the time I was a little girl, I always went straight for the animals wherever I went to make an instant new friend. I was born with an intuitive understanding of animals, as a child connecting naturally, easily and deeply with them. Animals have always been a necessary and important part of my life creating comfort and companionship for both of us. I also offer ENERGY HEALING sessions for all types of animals. Benefits of energy healing include anxiety relief, greater over all wellbeing, aids in recovery after trauma or surgery, etc. Healing is received either hands-on or remotely.
