About: I've raised both of my dogs since they were puppies and understand how important consistency is. I enjoy learning about each dog I meet and discovering ways to connect with them. I want to ensure that your pet has a safe and relaxing time during their stay, I will provide a separate room for your animal if needed or requested, with their own bedding and play-area. I have several rooms in the house that are not used, so I keep this space reserved for your pets. I will collect your vet information at booking and take your pet to their vet if necessary; I also am a member of the local Dauphin County Animal Hospital, which I can use if needed for emergencies. About: I have loved animals all my life-dogs, cats, chickens, reptiles, bugs-you name it! I got my first pet at age 11 (my calico cat, Abbie) and I've been adding to my collection ever since! I currently have an alapaha blueblood bulldog named Hamilton, a corgi named Pippa, two orange cats named Milo and Stewart, a 6 year old goldfish named Freed, and 9 chickens (all named of course, but I'll spare you that). My first fur baby Elli, a dachshund recently passed away; in saying that I am letting you know that I'm an expert in senior care and giving animals medications as well. Her meds were a full time job. I walk my dog almost daily and love to exercise animals, so I'd love to walk your animals too! Just a part-time registered nurse over here looking to fill my spare time and love on some fur babies! I'm a per diem registered nurse who works evenings and nights so I have lots of time from morning to afternoon to care for your pet. I generally walk my bulldog daily so I'd love to tire out your fur baby too! I am available Monday to Thursday, preferably 0830-200 (with flexibility) to assist you with your pet needs! I have well trained, loved animals at home. In coming to your home, I hope to continue to love your pet like my own while complying to whatever rules you set for the animal and myself. Giving them the opportunity to take bathroom breaks and keeping pets on their normal schedule is very important. Giving pets access to fresh drinking water, specific foods, and medications as needed is also crucial. Providing proper exercise and mental enrichment only helps to further improve an animal’s experience in their surroundings as well.
