I honestly don’t think Dodger realized he was being “boarded.” He thought he was on vacation with his new cousins, new uncles, and his new favorite person on earth (Dan 😆). From the minute we dropped him off, Jess was so reassuring and kind. She sent constant updates, pictures, and little stories that made my heart feel so much better. And not just “here’s your dog existing” pictures…NO. We’re talking: *Dodger cuddling her husband like they’ve been best buds for 10 years *Dodger snuggled up with her youngest like they were watching Saturday morning cartoons *Dodger and Tanner acting like long-lost brothers reunited *Dodger eating, relaxing, wagging his tail like a helicopter blade *Dodger getting a whole spa bath after rolling in the yard mud 😭💀 He even chewed through a Kong, which honestly deserves its own award. I warned her he was a super chewer, but I don’t think ANYONE was ready for him to destroy the “indestructible” toy. She just laughed and sent pictures like, “Welp, he’s having the time of his life.” 😂 The whole time she made sure I felt comfortable…even when my baby stole my phone and I panicked thinking I missed messages 😅 She was patient, flexible, and genuinely cared about him AND about us. Dodger came home happy, clean, tired, and FULL of love. His tail literally didn’t stop wagging the entire stay. And I’m pretty sure he thinks Jess’s house is his second home now…which I’m honestly fine with, because I know he’s safe and adored there. Jess and her whole family are wonderful, warm people. They treated Dodger like he belonged with them, and that’s all a dog mom could ever want. We will definitely be booking again (unless Dan steals him permanently 😂). Thank you, Jess, for loving our boy so well. “Angelita is 10/10! Her care of our Boston terrier was superb. Communications around our reservation was seamless and pleasant. When our travel was delayed, Angelita was flexible with our drop off time - and pick up time. The outdoor space is perfect for pets and there were a few other puppies for Lucky to play with! We saw multiple pictures of her over the 24 hours we were away. When we picked Lucky up, Angelita even had a gift baggy for us!! She had disinfected our dogs bed and washed her bowls. You can’t ask for better than Angelita. Your pet will be in great hands.”

About: I'm 41 years old and have never been in a house without a dog for more then a year between dogs. I grow up help with the dogs and playing with dogs. Over the years I've lived with and help taken care or taken care of a Miniature Poodle, Cocker Spaniel, Yorkie and a Yorkie/Maltese mix. I love being around dogs I adore them all. Current have a 1 year month old Sheltie, who I adore. Spending time with mine is the best part of my days. We briefly tried to live without animals and quickly realized that's no life to live. Pets have a special kind of love and affection you can't find anywhere else. I am currently working less than part time and my schedule is fairly flexible. I can fill in as needed usually with a few hours notice but do prefer at least 24 hours I cannot host any pets at my home as we are still not sure if my dog is reactive. I am more than willing to attend to your pet in whatever fashion you request in your home within reason.

Currently I have five very sociable dogs who love making new friends. They vary in age, so it's a great environment for young dogs to socialize. I also have 13 chickens who are used to our dogs and are always willing to meet new ones, and lastly we have one cat who tends to do her own thing. My backyard is not fenced however I have multiple runs set up for dogs who are not recall trained, but we do have a fenced in deck around our pool where the dogs have free reign.

About: I’ve been around animals all my life, & I can’t wait until I’m in a situation when I can finally have my own dog again. I’m knowledgeable about pet care & animal behavior, have great attention to detail, & enjoy learning more. I love every critter I meet (although I am partial towards chihuahuas & pits) & I have yet to meet a dog that didn’t like me. My family always had dogs growing up, & I have experience caring for a variety of dogs of different ages. I’ve only had two pet dogs that went through their entire life cycle with me, & my most recent doggo was a shitzu who came to me when she was 11. I spent her last few years trying to make her as comfortable & happy as possible. That’s the goal for every animal I care for. While this is obviously a job, & I do need the money, I genuinely enjoy getting to be helpful, to make someone’s life easier, & to, of course, spend time with dogs. I am a waitress- I usually work full-time, but it’s the slow season & we have a server surplus at the moment. I’m currently only scheduled for 3 night shifts a week, so my schedule is pretty open. Even on the days I do work, I would be able to check-in & care for the dogs before I go in, & can check on them afterwards as well if needed. Basically, I currently have plenty of time to fit in pet care. I am comfortable staying at someone else’s place; it would be nice to have a change of scenery every once in a while. Of course, I will treat your house with respect & be sure to leave it as it was when I arrived! If they wanna chill & sleep, that’s fine with me, but if they’re really active & need to play, I will play fetch & tug-o-war for hours on end. I have a car & supplies to take care of a dog if it is needed (snacks, poop bags, leash, blankets, first aid kit). I’m familiar with dog breeds & behavior & am aware of different training techniques so I’m not worried about being able to manage any dog- like getting them in their crate at the end of the night, or establishing a relationship with them, etc. I will care for your pet the way you want, but above all I will always care for an animal with the utmost respect & love, 💕

About: I have been rescuing dogs and cats for the last 25 years with my husbands help. I love cuddling and loving on just about any animal. As of right now I have a Rottie/English Mastiff rescue named Demo and a calico rescue named MoMo. I frequently sit my granddog Kaito who is a Shepherd/Pyrenees. We briefly tried to live without animals and quickly realized that's no life to live. Pets have a special kind of love and affection you can't find anywhere else. I am currently working less than part time and my schedule is fairly flexible. I can fill in as needed usually with a few hours notice but do prefer at least 24 hours I cannot host any pets at my home as we are still not sure if my dog is reactive. I am more than willing to attend to your pet in whatever fashion you request in your home within reason.

I honestly don’t think Dodger realized he was being “boarded.” He thought he was on vacation with his new cousins, new uncles, and his new favorite person on earth (Dan 😆). From the minute we dropped him off, Jess was so reassuring and kind. She sent constant updates, pictures, and little stories that made my heart feel so much better. And not just “here’s your dog existing” pictures…NO. We’re talking: *Dodger cuddling her husband like they’ve been best buds for 10 years *Dodger snuggled up with her youngest like they were watching Saturday morning cartoons *Dodger and Tanner acting like long-lost brothers reunited *Dodger eating, relaxing, wagging his tail like a helicopter blade *Dodger getting a whole spa bath after rolling in the yard mud 😭💀 He even chewed through a Kong, which honestly deserves its own award. I warned her he was a super chewer, but I don’t think ANYONE was ready for him to destroy the “indestructible” toy. She just laughed and sent pictures like, “Welp, he’s having the time of his life.” 😂 The whole time she made sure I felt comfortable…even when my baby stole my phone and I panicked thinking I missed messages 😅 She was patient, flexible, and genuinely cared about him AND about us. Dodger came home happy, clean, tired, and FULL of love. His tail literally didn’t stop wagging the entire stay. And I’m pretty sure he thinks Jess’s house is his second home now…which I’m honestly fine with, because I know he’s safe and adored there. Jess and her whole family are wonderful, warm people. They treated Dodger like he belonged with them, and that’s all a dog mom could ever want. We will definitely be booking again (unless Dan steals him permanently 😂). Thank you, Jess, for loving our boy so well. “Angelita is 10/10! Her care of our Boston terrier was superb. Communications around our reservation was seamless and pleasant. When our travel was delayed, Angelita was flexible with our drop off time - and pick up time. The outdoor space is perfect for pets and there were a few other puppies for Lucky to play with! We saw multiple pictures of her over the 24 hours we were away. When we picked Lucky up, Angelita even had a gift baggy for us!! She had disinfected our dogs bed and washed her bowls.
