About: I love taking care of animals. Animal energy is something I love having in my life. I have had dogs and cats since I was born. Now I have my very own Border Collie named Iris who I love with all my heart. I was always interested in animal care bathing walking cooking my own dog special food. I recently made the decision to leave my place of employment after 25 years. So now I can commit to animal care as much or as little as I can. I don't have a routine yet but hopefully I will establish one soon. I have done numerous overnights with up to 4 dogs. “Nate took good care of my 2 senior cats while I was away on vacation. He did daily drop in visits, litter box, fed/watered, gave 1 daily medication, and spent time with them. He also sent pics and gave me updates. My house was clean when I got home. Nate was prompt to respond on the site, we met in advance at a public eatery to get to know each other, and he came to my house after to meet my cats and get a basic run down on their needs. He was very pleasant, easy to talk to, and my cats took an instant liking to him. I would highly recommend him to others and will hire him again in the future! About: Since pre-teen, I grew up with dogs mostly as my parents had several dogs in the house. I love to care for dogs and make sure they’re happy and loved. Before Rover, I’ve walked and looked after neighbors’ dogs and owners have confided in me to care for them while they are away (i.e., family vacations, business trips, etc…). Currently my job is fully remote and I can mainly dog-sit during the day on a weekly basis. During the weekends, I can board, house sit and help in any way that I can with advance notice. My apartment is pet friendly and it is safe environment for dogs of any type. Apartment has easy dog access and Center City neighborhood is very safe. About: I’ve been around dogs and animals in general since a young age, with my grandpa running a small farm. I’ve grown up around breeds like German Shepherds, and have always taken care of friends’ dogs while they were in vacation. I learned a lot from my fiancé, who ran a successful dog walking business in New York City Give yourself peace of mind, your dog is in safe, loving, caring hands. I’m currently working from home with a special schedule which I take advantage of as it frees up a lot of time during the day. Pet care fits into it quite easily, as I have a daily routine I follow which includes dog walks, time with the dogs outside and of course feedings (and tending medicine when needed). I have a home situated on a quiet, secluded private lot that backs up onto a river with several trails within a short walking distance. The yard is secluded, well shaded and has ample space. I take care to be active with the dogs, so I usually toss frisbees or play fetch several times a day to keep them content. I walk my dogs twice around the neighborhood. Besides home, I have a number of dog-friendly trails and parks both in East Stroudsburg and nearby where I bring the dogs for some quality time outside. This includes hiking on trails and in the mountains, bringing the dogs to rivers or lakes, I mix it up each week depending on the weather conditions. Any time I go on an outdoor adventure, I make sure I have the owner’s consent. Their dogs will always be hydrated and have a snack. I only ask that if your dog has specific dietary needs or is taking medication, that you provide me with the necessary information and schedule. I have two modes of transport for dogs, both of which offer plenty of space, safety and comfort for the dogs while en route.
