About: I’ve always had family animals that I’ve adored and that got my foot into working in rescue! I’ve work with extra small to extra large dogs, a lot of cats and some other species. I feel very comfortable with behavioral differences in different animals. I’ve worked along side very talented vets and techs that have taught me a lot about medical care, as well. I work part time at home with a dog and two cats. I take physical and mental enrichment very seriously for all animals. Any animal I’m caring for comes first everyday. A tired dog is a happy dog. I have friendly animals at home, a large crate if needed and a separate room set up for shy animals to warm up to the other animals. We have a large (not fenced) yard but we take many long walks a day to keep up with physical needs!

The Blink camera in the room where Mavis stayed was a nice touch, allowing Crystal to check in on her whenever she was out, which was reassuring. “As others here are saying, Ruth was *really* great--my somewhat shy, standoffish cat quickly and visibly warmed to her (she had a very gentle, low-key way of introducing herself to him). It was a relief to have her checking in on him. As to logistics: she was extremely quick and precise in answering messages, and very patient and flexible with the multiple times I had to tweak my booking request (because of unforeseen travel changes on my end). The kitchen was cleaner than when I left, and Ruth also went out of the way to bring trash and recycling containers off the street, something I hadn't asked her to do but appreciate. As to keeping this skeptical little cat company: she was very perceptive; I would genuinely trust her if there were an emergency of basically any kind. She put him at ease and got him to eat (something he sometimes is reluctant to do when stressed); she must have been a very reassuring presence. I also appreciate her detailed messages and several photos in which he's rolling on his back looking fairly pleased by things. When I got back this morning he seemed in much better spirits than he normally does after I have to travel. Thank you Ruth!”
About: I am experienced in senior cat care and raising puppies. I can walk, bathe, feed and care for all animals sizes of all temperament types. I will be able to provide services before 7:30AM and after 4:30PM, Monday-Friday. I am also available every Saturday and Sunday during all hours. This is subject to change within the next month. I currently care for a senior cat and provide as much stimulation as needed. I allow her to free-graze dry food and feed her at scheduled meal times twice a day. I also change her litter once a week and clean her area of the living space once a day. I promise to provide the same amount of kindness and responsibility for any pet in my care.

About: I love take walks, so walking you pet(s) would not be an issue. I also love interacting and be being there for them as well. I find that being there and understanding their queues and their needs is a very big thing. I would be able to look after your pet(s) after 8a.m and before 2p.m. This would be during the week day and sometimes the weekends as well. This varies by what eat pet(s) would need, but I know for my dogs wiping them after they walk is a big thing. I would also abide to any rules or regulations they would need and also treat them as my own as well.

About: Ive been around pets my whole life. For as long as I can remember I’ve had dogs in my home. My family is also a rescue family so I’m very confident with many breeds and ages. We also adopt a lot of senior dogs so I’m very confident in senior care. Can’t wait to spoil your pet! I currently work part time at Plato’s Closet State College where I am a seasonal supervisor. About: I’ve never lived without a dog; ever since I was a baby there had been a dog and cat in my home, though I will say I didn’t truly step up as a “pet parent” til the past 5 years or so. I care for my 13 year old dog and help her up and down steps, I’ve helped my cat through her kidney disease and managed her diets and medication, and I have experience both dog and cat sitting for family friends. I am also currently majoring in Wildlife & Fisheries Science so I’ve dealt with all sorts of animals. I am a full time student, however I will have plenty of time between classes to assist whatever your pets may need! I am available all weekends Mondays; Available between 10am-1pm, as well as past 5:30 Tuesday; Available any time before 1pm and any time after 6pm Wednesday; Available after 5:30 Thursday; Available any time before 1pm and any time after 6pm Friday; Available any time between 10am-4pm I have dealt with fairly large dogs and managed to successfully crate them as well as keep them safe on a leash. I, myself, have an old dog back home so I understand how they may need extra care and patience and I can even support them in walking/moving around if needed. As for cats, I am very experienced and have been my cat’s primary caretaker since she was just a few weeks old. I understand their temperaments and have catsit for an extremely shy cat before and was even able to get her to come out of her shell a bit. I can of course handle cleaning a litterbox daily and any other needs they may have.

About: Ever since I was a little kid I have been around dogs and cats. I love animals and currently have two cats named Peaches and CC along with a dog named Porkchop. About: I’ve always had family animals that I’ve adored and that got my foot into working in rescue! I’ve work with extra small to extra large dogs, a lot of cats and some other species. About: I will give your dog my full attention as well as my children. We all love animals. My children are super gentle and loving and love to take walks so finding time to take your dog for a walk will be no problem! I am home all day so your dog will get lots of attention! I am choosing to do this because the kids want a dog but I am not fully committed to buying one of our own quite yet, so dog sitting will please everyone. I have a huge yard with the option of fenced in and unfenced areas. We have very few neighbors so if your pup is a barker it will be not a problem. Lots of space to take dogs for walks without running into other people or animals.
